Great smoked meats. Smokehouse vibe restaurant where you order at the cash register window and then it is brought to your table. The menu seemed kind of limited however, we had two meat and pulled pork Mac and cheese dinners. I had the pulled pork and Jalapeño sausage and I tried all of the sauce options. The traditional red bbq sauces were very good but I really liked the Jalapeño sauce. It went good on both my sausage and pulled pork. My wife had the pulled pork Mac and Cheese and it was very tasty as well. I can say that first hand as I helped her finish it ( with the addition of some jalapeño sauce). We all enjoyed our meal and would eat here again if we were in the area. read more

I am not sure if the service at this place is always this rude to people of color or we just had 3 of the worst servers. Waited in the front for over 10 minutes and all 3 servers made eye contact but no greetings or anything. They were just talking and joking with each other about things I don't remember. But whatever it was the service was rude and non existent. When I was told to just grab a table, since the restaurant was pretty empty. Had to get up and get my own sauce's utensils , to go box and bill. My next table had their server asking them for sauce choices, ketchup etc and giving information on food, my table, drop off menu and left without any words. Here I am trying to support local businesses and treated like an unwanted guest. Now the food. It really gives smokehouse a bad name. Don't listen to the bad reviews. This place is delicious! The ribs fell off the bone and the his puppies were delicious! I love the pretzel bun with the brisket. My husband had the ribs and my kids had Mac and cheese bowls. The staff were friendly and helpful. Inside was clean, spacious and the stage implied they had live music. How fun! This was a stop on our road trip and I highly recommend it!!! read more

Atmosphere is like a cafeteria, with a few tvs. They were out of brisket @5:30 on a monday. When the food was delivered to the table the only thing that was hot was the baked beans. Ribs were meaty and tender but barely warm. Pulled pork was in a ball with Carolina sauce on top, and the pulled pork was barely warm. Mac and cheese was average at best with no smoky flavor and undercooked noodles . They had multiple kinds of bbq sauces available. Love having a smokehouse back in town!! We had a 3 meat smoked plate (Brisket, ribs and jalapeño sausage) with potato salad, and smoked baked beans and cornbread. My wife got the brisket Mac and cheese! There was just right about of heat in the dishes! The sauces were delicious but my clear favorite was the jalapeño sauce...man it slapped! The service was quick even though it was busy! There was no one in the adjoining ax throw venue but I presume it could get loud with that running. wow. not what i was expecting when i randomly had to stay in Richfield, UT. like i'd never even heard of this town and i might've had the best bbq i've ever had in my life. let it be noted i used to live in Nashville TN. i'm surprised this place is only 3.8 stars doesn't make sense tbh. Passing through town & we ended up staying a bit longer than expected. Very nice basic bbq restaurant vibe, but with such friendly staff & outstanding food! This place is great stop for people driving through. I ordered the brisket sliders and my husband ordered the two meat platter. Loved the pretzel buns on the sliders and the fresh coleslaw. Well they were completely out of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and smash burgers, leaving sausage as the only meat option. It was 5pm on a Friday, so this was pretty odd, and I don't know how they'd stay open until 10pm like their website says. This is a 3rd time that I have visited this establishment. Every time we have ordered the Boren Burger with Brisket. When I try a new restaurant I look for consistency. The first time it was pretty dang good, except the mac and cheese was dry and not much flavor. The second time, the Boren Burger did not have a lot of flavor. Now, my son paid with his own money to get the same burger and he asked me to try the brisket. All I pulled out was pure unrendered fat. I could not chew let alone swallow! Over and over again the brisket was either had unrendered fat and the meat was not edible. So, when someone pays almost $20 for a burger, I would expect they could actually swallow it! I attempted to call 3 times, but the number listed does not even work! I would have driven back but I live outside of Richfield. It makes me frustrated, especially when my son had the faith that it would be good! If this place does not get the consistency correct, this place will not last unfortunately! read more
