I am constantly amazed at how poor the customer services at this McDonald's. I stopped about a month ago and their parking lot was in such bad shape that I was worried I was going to damage my car. I only wanted an ice cream cone and the ice cream machine was not working in the middle of the day. I spoke to the manager about both the parking lot and the fact that they had the ice cream machine down for cleaning during the main part of the day. I strongly suggested that they clean it at night. Today, I stopped for an ice cream cone. The parking lot had been fixed. That's a plus. But, I got this mess that I'm showing in a picture. In addition, it's not ice cream, It's ice milk. So instead of a satisfying treat, it was very unsatisfying. I don't know how these guys stay in business! read more

Hours say it opens at 6a, but the dining room was closed. The drive through staff took almost a full minute to open their window. Maybe they are short staffed or new. read more

I'm not sure if I'm just lucky or what but I've literally never had an order wrong here, long waits, or rude employees.

This is one of the worst McDonald Locations. I have found hair in my food multiple times.

This place has gone downhill so bad. I used to work here 15 years ago and it was the best. I went today and ordered. The guy on the speaker was talking to someone inside and was like oh not you ma'am. I pulled up to the first window. No Hello just a hand to reach out for the money. I said hi. Nothing. The guy gave me my change and I said thank you, you have a good day too. Nothing. Went to the second window. Again nothing. Gave me my food and no goodbye thank you just closed the window like I was bothering them. My fries were old and cold. Couldn't even eat them and the nuggets were rubbery. Whoever owns this one needs to do some major staff and food quality revamp. I'll drive the extra few miles to gull road that at least say hello read more

It didn't take long for this place to go from good to bad. We usually stop here on the way to the Gilmore car museum. Our first trip this year was for the German Car Show on Saturday July 9th. Pulled in, there were cars in the drive thru. We parked, I got my wife's walker set up and with great care got to the door. Locked. The place was dark. This was a Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Not a person in site. Okay, maybe they have yet to open the dining room from the covid crud. Went back to our car, and I noticed the drive through was empty. You can guess why. No one was working, the restaurant was not open. No sign indicating this , the door hours didn't reflect this. I drove across the street to the gas station, bough coffee and couple of there versions of B-Fast sandwiches. The clerk was nice. I explained what happened and she commented that they usually don't open till after 11:00 a.m. (THIS IS A SATURDAY DURING THE SUMMER, AND YOUR NOT OPEN ON YOUR BUSIEST DAYS IN THE SUMMER.....). Pretty much your typical McDonald's. Can be a little slow with getting food out, but they normally get the order right and the staff is personable and helpful. The inside seating is comfortable and looks nice, but it's not very big. A good place (the only place) for a quick meal in Richland. read more

Honest to God the worst McDonald's I've every been to. I've lived a lot of places, been to a lot of McDonald's. I've seen some bad ones.....but it's never even been remarkably as close to how slow, and poorly managed as this one. For the love of everything holy, get some people in charge of this place that will turn it around. I'm not sure who owns it, but if I did, I'd be ashamed. I wouldn't want my name anywhere near this place. I feel bad for the people that work here, they must get 1,000 angry customers a day. But they just need a manager that will teach them well. Stopped this morning for a couple sausage McMuffins off the 'dollar' menu. Was informed the price of a McMuffin has increased to 1.49. The clerk also told me a (previously $1.69) double cheeseburger was now $2.32. No more cheap breakfast/lunch at McDonalds. read more

Haven't eaten at a McDonals in years. Stopped at this one in Richland MI today. Absolutely the worst I've had. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. Only ate part of it because it was over cooked and every bite had stringy gristle. Bun was charred. Fries were old, tough and limp. The kid at the window taking our money coughed like he had pneumonia into his hands and didn't use sanitizer and turned his back to us after we paid to yell at someone else. I must be a glutton for punishment because I have been here a half dozen times over the past few years and the experience never gets better. Expect the wait after putting in your order to be 10 minutes at the minimum. "All I did was order a couple McChickens," you say? Doesn't matter. You will stand there, waiting, and you will like it! I do not blame the employees. I blame whoever is running this franchise. They had to close the lobby due to understaffing. You would think "Ok, well then the drive thru should be fast". Nope. Waited 15 minutes for two happy meals and one adult meal. This is probably the fifth time this has happened to me and I have grown frustrated enough to write a review. At least half the time since I have lived in Richland and have gone to this Mc Donald's, my order has been incorrect. Now I check the bag every time, and it never fails, there is something incorrect every other time. They either forget to put in a sauce or give me the wrong meal altogether. It really shouldn't be that hard to get these orders correct and out in a timely manner. I wish the employees well and hope that you get a new franchise manager soon. I'm from Richland.  I remember when they first built this McDonald's in the late 90's.  The first couple of years it ran very smoothly, but after that?  I don't know, maybe a curse happened?  Was it built on an ancient burial ground? This has been the worst McDonald's for over 20 years.  You always have to check your bag before you drive off.  And while your at it, taste your drink because they probably gave you the wrong one.  You have to keep orders simple but specific, like you're dealing with a genie(Not a nice Disney one, more like a mean Twilight Zone one)  As someone who has worked in the retail/service industry pretty much my whole life I can tell you that it isn't the employees, it's the training, or in this case, the lack thereof.  I swear all the "managers" they've hired have been a long line of important people's nieces/nephews with no experience or acumen.  I will say that as of this writing they've brought in more experienced employees from other franchises, but it's impossible to know when their shifts are.  And that's a problem, because every shift should be a good shift.  I realize that no matter what I say people will still use this place, myself included.  Whether it's a matter of geography, desperation, or someone's not from here and doesn't know any better, it's still a McDonald's.  But until major, and permanent, changes happen, this location will always be a last resort to people in the know. read more

I have visited this restaurant twice in the last year while visiting relatives. Both times on leaving for home, stopping in for a coffee and sandwich for myself and wife the orders were wrong, the food barely warm and the service was extremely slow. 20 minute wait. Once I received my good my hamburger was cold, I didn't receive an apology for the wait. The ice machine was empty and they were out of the large cups. Do yourself the favor drive 10 minutes down to the one on Gull Rd. Or better yet go to a different chain. read more

First of all, I don't know what this dude's name is. So from here on out we will refer to this saint of a drive through attendant as "Rory." God bless Rory and his ministry. Myself, three other fellas, and a lady rolled up to Rory's blessed burger parish at 11:35pm. After placing two separate orders Rory greeted us with warmth and brevity. A tender assurance that our late night-glutton fueled-pilgrimage to the Golden Arches would end in success. This beautiful man filled the gaping holes of our forsaken gullets with manna in the form of saturated fats. Blessed be the one who brings forth goodness from the vats of glory. Easily the worst McDonald's I've had, ordered a double bacon quarter pounder, condiments and cheese were have off the sandwich, there was an actual pool of grease in the box, I ordered a Big Mac and the bottom bun was split in half, there were no napkins in the bag, I don't understand how they're still running with all the bad reviews, or how they haven't shaped up. read more
