We here as I do every morning for breakfast on the way to work order my stuff on the mobile app and I was looking to try another one of the new drinks so I did as I've done before and took out the Boba and substituted it for cold foam like I said I've done this before, but when I pull up to the window, a extremely rude staff member tells me that they do not do any modifications on their drinks and that if I want to refund, I have to go through the Mcdonald's mobile app needless to say did not get any of my order and was disgusted with the attitude of the employee will not be going to this Mcdonald's anymore read more

McDonald's is a dying franchise. From phasing out the drink stations, the lifeless decor, and your order being wrong about 60% of the time. Stopped in for my rarely indulged in large fry and small soda after a long day of work. Took forever, cost $7, and no self service drink station to at least get my drink during the 15+ minute wait. We live out of town. Our mistake to think we could go home without checking our food. We ordered a grilled artisan chicken sandwich - the chicken covers about half of the bun. Really? I didn't pay $10 for some bread. We ordered a McDouble - come home and it's a cheeseburger? There was only ONE patty. In the McDouble wrapper. No salt on the fries and I'm pretty sure they were like the last of dinner hour (we ordered at 830pm) so they were cardboard like. So disappointed when we got home we called the store. It rang.. and rang.. and rang.. then when finally answered: "hello?" We asked uh is this McDonald's? And she HUNG UP ON US. Yes we are positive it was the right number because we called the same exact number back and they said "hello McDonald's" The lady did not understand literally anything we said. When we finally got to talk to a supervisor, while she was polite, she expected us to drive back to town (30 min drive) to RETURN the food to get a refund- cause we did NOT want to trust them to make it right a next time. Do not go here. They have no idea what they are doing. We asked for unsweetened iced tea with lemon to the lady taking the order. Had to ask three times. When we got our drinks I asked twice again if there was lemon in the tea. I was told yes. There was no lemon. I then went inside and asked if they have lemon and was told no. It took asking 7 times before I got a real answer. They have people dealing with the public who can't speak or understand English. If you do go here don't expect to get what your ordered. read more

In short: customer service here stinks, and other reviewers concur. My wife and I have had to wait 15-30 minutes on multiple occasions for simple orders. No apology, nothing. They gave us most of our order (after 15 minutes of being in line), then asked us to pull into a spot while they made a smoothie. Fine, whatever, not sure why it took so long to make a smoothie when I saw other blended drinks being served inside the store. After waiting another ten minutes in the parking space, seeing several other vehicles get their food (and blended drinks) and leave, I ran inside the store and asked what was going on. There was no one telling me they were sorry I had to wait or come inside. Instead, they gestured wordlessly toward an employee who was preparing the smoothie, who (messily) slopped it into a cup and shoved it at me. I had to grab several napkins to clean the cup on my way out. My wife needed to get to work, and we thought leaving a half hour earlier than normal would be plenty of time to get a quick lunch and eat it in the car. Nope! This pathetic excuse for a franchise of what should be the most prestigious of all fast food restaurants brings shame on the McDonald's name. Rochester, wake up! Destination Medical Center is coming, and it won't just be folks like us (unable to make a change) who complain... get it together, if you really want outsiders to think we're a world-class destination! read more

Will not be back. Waited 15 minutes at a drive-up line for a fish sandwich. There was more tartar sauce than fish on the sandwich so I went inside to have it replaced. Received another fish sandwich with appropriate amount of tartar sauce but the fish patty had been reduced to a very small, dry, mushy package of fried matter. Cold as well. I discovered this when I was back on the freeway so now I have no sandwich and I am always five dollars out. The manager appeared to be on the phone with friends who then showed up with food from another restaurant for her. They double parked a large pick up truck immediately in front of the entrance and exit to the restaurant and left it running while they came in to round her up. Meanwhile thr drive up had people lined up all the way around the building. The bathroom was full of flies and very, very messy. This is Saturday evening of Mermorial day weekend with an absolutely an app and I'm professional crew of people. The young service person that I dealt with were very apologetic, and I believe clearly embarrassed did their best. Very poor leadership at this location. Clearly this is systemic as other reviews that I see here are similar. This location is a absolute embarrassment to the franchise brand. Stay away! read more

This McDonald's does it right. I've been coming here for many years and almost never had to return an incomplete order. The service is very good and friendly. My only suggestion to them would be to train those who make the McCafe drinks a bit better. I've had to return a drink a few times in the past because it wasn't made right. read more

Let me first say this. This is the type of view where you literally have to take the time to pray before you speak and lose all sanity.... I went to this ridiculous McDonald's around 11:30 pm on Friday June 8th 2018, which would be yesterday. Please tell me why I stopped there? Please tell me what was I thinking?.... NEVER, in the history of eating at an establishment, have I ever been so FURIOUS!!! I was on my way home from rehearsal. I had to drive 3 hours to get home. It was a cheat day for me, and I decided to get some McDonald's. The person taking my order started to take my order, then he cut me off and then a female got on the mic to take my order. I was told I had to get a soda with my meal, and instead of getting a water. I stopped drinking soda and juice, or anything with empty calories. I told her I can't have soda, and I don't care if you have to charge me for it. I got up to the window, and the guy was nice and seemed to be helpful, and said all I needed to do was just get a bottle of water, along with my large water. I get up to the next window to get my food, and had to wait over 10 minutes because the young "kids" were either screwing around or leaning over the counters instead of working...I was so irritated I almost started yelling, but I didn't. The guy at the window apologized, but I would have rather him not to apologize, then to tell me a lie, and have me wait longer. This is why I figured he was lying..He told me they were waiting on fries, but PLEASE tell me WHY my fries seemed like they were sitting there ALL day and night. They were cold, overly salty, and disgusting!!! My garlic cheddar burger was COLD. I threw the entire meal out of the window. Just the food not the paper products. Do NOT lie to my face, tell me you're sorry because you're waiting on fries, and have the nerve to serve me cold food!!!! Were the fries cooked an icy, salty bath?!!! The manager looked like she didn't know what the heck she was doing, and too many kids working in that place. They were running her instead of her running them!!!! Don't ever eat there, EVER!!! Tried to go through the drive-in this morning. I recognized the voice; a woman in her 50s, short curly auburn hair; I think she's the manager. She talked to other staff WHILE she was talking to us & taking our order. When I paused for a second, she tried to close the order. I had to (1) get her attention, (2) get her to listen to me alone. She was rude as she tried to get me to talk during her pauses in conversations with other staff. After I said, "Wait, we have another order to add," she said, "Well what's your order?!" I finally said, "I'm not dealing with you any more. We're leaving." My child reallllly wanted a McD meal, so we drove 6 miles round-trip to go to the West Circle Dr. location. An Absolute worst..rude and indifferent employees here..every time i have ordered a drive thru coffee from here.either they don't understand the mobile order or they have problem with communications. Order is never ready at the window and they will send you to the waiting area. U can keep waiting for indefinite time there and the staff will never show up with order. I spoke to their Manager Cece today and she had no idea what I was talking about and later called it a miscommunication issue.how many times? I will avoid this location at any cost. I live just a few blocks from this McDonalds and I have given it several tries, sadly this store is not good at all. The customer service is very bad, unfriendly, rude at times, and they make a person feel as if they wish you would just go away. The service is extremely slow. I don't usually write reviews, but this morning was worse than ever. I left feeling very frustrated... AGAIN. I will not recommend this location to anyone. I will now drive to the McDonalds on West Circle Drive as the customer service there is quick, and they treat you as if you are a person not a number. This is the slowest McDonald's in the entire state of Minnesota. Wow, I stopped here at 7.20 pm and waited for 30 minutes to get a simple order. What is up with the staff at this location-I know the food is cheap and nutritionally void, but for the love of Grimace...they had more staff running around in circles than customers in the restaurant. On December 30 my wife and I returned to Rochester after an airline flight. I rarely eat fast food but we were tired and McDonalds was on the way home. It was 1:30PM so we figured we wouldn't have to wait long. We pulled up to one of the two order lanes, with no cars in front or beside us. We were asked to please wait. We did. Shortly another car pulled up to the other order lane, placed an order, and pulled up to the window. Another car pulled up to the other lane and began placing their order. Still no action in our lane. I put my money back in my wallet, pulled out of the order lane and drove off. If a fast food joint is going to charge high prices for marginal food, their service better be excellent. Not this time. I doubt I will attempt to eat here ever again. read more

This McDonalds was very busy but they had plenty of employees working to handle the business. They were friendly as well. My 2 big concerns were the noise from the kitchen. All I have to say is this place is bad. I went in here today at around 6:15 pm. I was the only one waiting to place an order. I actually had to ask somebody to place an order as there was 5 people behind the counter talking and goofing off. The than started to fight with each other over who was going to help me. This should of been a sign to go somewhere else but my husband wanted McDonald's for dinner. After finally getting someone to help me they seemed to think I was a problem. All I wanted was a Big Mac and a order of chicken nuggets yet that seemed to be a problem. When I got my &old all they gave me was the Big Mac I said I had ordered chicken nuggets to abs was told o we forgot. To top it off the employees seemed more interested in fighting over who was going to work who's hours as one person was over on hours and couldn't work their hours yet no one wanted to work the hours.
