Never even received my order because of an issue of the mobile app where somehow it glitched out and only my rewards was taken. The manager a young Cape Verdean woman came to try to resolve the problem only to make matters worse. She was extremely combative to the point of telling me it was my fault the order didn't go in right. I'm a manager myself the simple ask I asked if her was to rering the order using the code which waiting 15 minutes anyways refreshed the code. She refused to rering the meal (not make a fresh meal) because of the possibility that if it happened again and she would have to do another refund again. Since she refused to rering the order she gave me two options verbally too either accept the price the way it was or to take a refund she refused adamantly to just do a simple refund and sale. she didn't realize I understand Cape Verde creole and Portuguese so I heard every disrespectful remark she made about me. I wasn't rude at all but rather asked multiple times to just rering the sale at the right price which was .29 Big Mac 1/4 pounder or a 10 piece. After going back and forth she said she would no longer allow me to buy food I guess that night if I came back into the drive thru. Took 7 minutes attempting to do a refund on a card that shouldn't have been charged because the order shouldn't have been submitted when I said ma'am let me show you the code at the window because this isn't making any sense. A couple of items of coaching here one you shouldn't be rude to customers. To the tell the customer the card you gave them isn't the right card when in fact after telling her to read the bottom of the receipt the same very receipt I only had a couple seconds to look at and she has hopefully some time in the game to atleast know how to tell where the last four digits of a card would be on a receipt. read more

This place is really bad they had big potholes in drive-through for weeks they put little stones in there and it's still not filled you can get no mayonnaise for the dry sandwiches unless you plead with them / they don't have any iced macchiato's Or hot macchiato's like other McDonald's. Horrible, horrible, horrible. In the world of fast food, McDonalds is King. And in the world of McDonalds, this location is the Jester. It is horrendous. Unfortunately, it is the one closest (and conveniently 5 minutes away from) where we live and we have visited on occasion. Only once, ONCE have they gotten our order entirely correct and actually produced what seemed like hot, fresh food. On all other visits, we have either gotten soggy fries, burgers that felt like they'd been reheated on their little pans five times and then run over by a truck, and then reheated again on the pavement in parking lot, drinks that are dripping sticky soda down the side of the not-even-filled cup and orders that were completely wrong-o. On our most recent trip, we ordered this (and this is getting personal now, disclosing my usual McDonalds order to the public, I feel like this is personal information): 1 Small Sweet Tea (she proceeded to convince us to order a large, since it is still 1$) 1 Large Fry 2 Double Cheeseburgers 2 4 pc Nuggets Sweet and Sour Sauce BBQ Sauce 1 McChicken She displayed the order on the screen, proceeded to read the order back and it was fine. We pull up to the next window, pay. We pull up to the next, next window and are handed our large drink. "It looks orange, eew!" I state, thinking that sweet tea would be a little more brown than that. But honestly, this is McDonalds, and nothing here is real, and I don't doubt for a minute that their sweet tea is orange, so I don't think much of it, other than wondering what the heck it tastes like. We get our bag and drive off. Everything looks to be in order after a quick glance, 2 burgers, 1 chicken sandwich, 2 4 pc nuggets, fries. Well, upon closer inspection once we got home, this is what we got: 1 Large Hi-C (explains the orange) 2 4 pc Nuggets (the only thing they got right) 2 Sweet and Sour sauce (no BBQ!) 1 McChicken (oh, sorry, they got this right, too) 2 McDoubles with no onions (didn't say no onions and McDoubles are different than Double Cheeseburgers) We got a completely different order from what we stated and what was displayed and read back to us. I don't get it. My husband pointed out that the car behind us was still at the window when we hit the road, and our creeping suspicion is that they mixed our bags up. The funny thing was, the orders were so close, and could sound so similar. But at the end of the day, they were plain wrong. And I don't understand how you mess this up? No offense to anyone in the fast food industry, but whenever this happens, the first phrase that comes to mind is "and this is why they work at McDonalds". Ugh. Save yourself the headache of not only a wrong order, but an order that will be old, soggy and messy anyways, and drive up the Wendy's on American Legion or a different area altogether. I've been coming to this location on and off for the better part of 30 years and it's shocking how the quality has gone down. I went about a year ago and wasn't happy with my food the bread was hard as a rock on my sandwich but I let it go assuming it was just a one off situation. I went tonight and ordered a filet of fish sandwich and was so disgusted when I went to bite into it. The bread was hard, the cheese was hard, it was the sandwich had been sitting for hours. Looking at the other reviews it seems this is a continuous issue. Aside from the food the service was no better. As I was at the first window paying for my food the young lady at the last window had her hand extended out the window holding my drink. The person getting my change was taking too long so she put the drink down. As I got to the next window the young lady handed me my food no hello no thank you no nothing. Not sure if it's the location or staff but the wait here is unbelievable. The upgrade to the interior is amazing but a significant change to how drive thru works is still needed. That being said, we do often try to go inside more than drive thru due to the wait. The upgrade inside makes the wait time tolerable. Games have been added to the tables so the kids are entertained. NEGATIVE STARS-- I am writing as a wife who's husband works 16-24hours shifts during storms to help power lines stay clear so power companies can keep electricity on for the community. After tirelessly working since 7am with no break or meals, my husband stopped at THIS McDonalds starving at 10:00pm. He drives a heavy duty bucket truck which obviously can't fit through the drive-thru. He entered the building asking if they could take his order. They said "no, we're only open for drive-thru," knowing he can't drive if truck through. He asked if they could just ring up his order on the drive-thru register, and they said no! Honestly, I'm not a huge McDonald's fan, but this is NOT customer service. This is NOT, how you treat essential workers giving up family time and working double overtime to keep the community safe. I'm disgusted and hurt that people are so heartless in the world, never trying to do just a little extra to help others. ESPECIALLY, for someone who is always helping others! Worst McDonald's ever. I have lived in front of this McDonald's my whole life. I rather drive to the one in Dedham then walk across the street and eat there. Location: Great location. On busy American Legion Hwy, with plenty of parking. Well lit and very visible from the street. Cleanliness: I made the mistake of going in here one day because the line at the drive through was soooooo long. TYPICAL. The floor were covered in sticky goo. Trash was scattered everywhere. I wish I had my cell phone at the time with me. In front of the beverage dispenser there was the largest puddle ever, with a wet floor sign. Mmm if you had time to put the sign down. Why didn't they mop? Restrooms. Haven't used the bathroom here in over a decade! Food: Typical McDonald's food, it ain't gourmet, but it don't taste bad. And the flavor is the same as all the other locations The drive through is horrendous. They either mess up the order when they give it you in under 3 minutes. If there is not one car in line it takes three minutes for someone to respond to you on the mic, or they can't complete your order so they make you move your car to the front of the restaurant where they give you a coupon for a free sundae or fries. I've got a stack of these coupons. You'll be lucky if the machine you speak into at the drive through actually displays what you are ordering. Why sometimes it does or doesn't I will never know. Now they decided to put a second ordering station in to make service faster. Whats the point of ordering faster if your food is going to take just as long? If i could give this place negative stars I would. Why do I keep going? Cause sometimes I am lazy and hungry and don't feel like going to far. Always new people and even the managers get shifted. I've already wrote complaints to HQ, but it seems that they don't listen. This restaurant is a hit or miss. Often times, orders through the drive-up are wrong, inside the restaurant is even a longer line and there is only one person handling orders. Everyone in there is always frustrated.
