Hello everyone, I went to this location to pick up my online order, and the manager on duty, named David, was very rude. He even refused to give me my order. It was disappointing to see someone, especially a young manager, behave like this. I mentioned to him that I used to be a department manager at McDonald's and that this is not how customers should be treated. His response was, "I don't care, and you can leave because we won't give you the food." I ended up leaving without my order, but honestly, given the reviews of this restaurant, I'm not surprised. I don't recommend this place, because the manager Crystal was so rude and unprofessional. Let's start by saying that my daughter is in the Air Force servicing and had came home to visit, so we stopped by McDonald's on our way home. We ordered drive through but when we got our food we were missing two plain cheeseburgers and asked to pay for them if they didn't charge us and the manager said we had to go back through the drive-through and reorder. Went through drive through for breakfast this morning 8/20/2025. Ordered breakfast and an Iced Coffee. Drove off to work and I took a sip of my iced coffee and I felt something odd. I thought maybe it was left over paper cover from the straw and when I spit it out it was a piece of green dish washing scrub pad. This is unacceptable. I have digestive issues if I would had swallowed this that would had put me in the hospital. How can someone not see this in the cup when you're pouring in coffee. I tried calling the store when this happened. Typical no answer. I called cooperate and they open a case for this complaint. I ended up getting a call back. There response was we will look into it and we offer a free meal for the inconvenience. Really a free meal you think I'll go back for that. I ordered through the McDonalds app at 11:40am. I went in at 12:03 pm to pickup my order at curbside space 1. I couldn't check in through the app so I called them number for this location but they didn't didn't pick Up. I went inside. I waited until 12:25pm. I spoke to two people. One guy said "what was the name and order number?" They could not find my order. Then I spoke to another guy (manager) and said "what was the order number?" I showed him my phone to see the order. They couldn't find it either. So I said "I want to cancel and request a refund." I was on my lunch break. He said you have to cancel through the app by calling the number. There is no number on the app to call. I googled a McDonald's number and called. The lady said it should cancel on its own since I did not pick it up. On the app it said you can't cancel or get a refund. The only thing to do is go to another McDonald's to get your order. I called my bank to dispute the transaction. I opened a claim. Don't order through the app! It should not be this difficult to cancel an order and receive an immediate refund. I went to the McDonals on 2nd Street in downtown San Bernardino and went to order from the kiosk. A homeless man was sitting there and continued to curse and berate me because I did not give him cash. So I told the order person I'd order at the window and she said she couldn't take the order and sent me to the next window where they said they couldn't take an order either. I generally will get something for the homeless but not when they become nasty. I was afraid and will NEVER go to this location again and will also tell the people I work with to go to Starbucks instead. We only have a few hundred people in our building. I hope this is the first and last review I do that doesn't meet my expectations nor anyone that is an advocate for someone's health such as myself. This establishment banters about cleanliness, but nothing was clean about it. The area that this place serves can be blamed all day for this, but so could other places nearby. Yet, they all manage to keep their places a lot cleaner than this establishment. I find this highly intersting. Upon eating my food, I notice armed security walking around ensuring my safety and others. I find this is good, but I also see a need for someone to just wipe tables to keep up with the demands of their customers. Most of of the patrons were homeless with psych issues. Yelling inside the building gave a different feel to this place, as the decor suggests otherwise. Even the facelifted remodel can't hide their true self. Before exiting, it was only appropriate to use the restroom. This bathroom was disgusting. Doo-rag on the floor with fecal matter present on it. Bathroom smelt herendous! No soap in the dispenser, nor was their a trash can visible. Also, countertop was dirty along with the stench of trash on floor, or what appeared to be trash. Where's the hourly checks? Also, I found it disheartening that I would use my hands to open the door after using the air dryer. Hand sanitizer should be placed outside bathroom. As far as I'm concerned, my hands are dirty again after touching the knob. I've worked closely with the homeless population doing volunteer work, as well as serving the homeless in my line of work.
