This is definitely a cool little grab and go spot in Da Hood or the neighborhood I should say. They be Grinding out some sweet and tasty coffee drinks for their area. I started off with their Darth Chocolate which was a blend of dark chocolate and mini chocolate chips to make it extra fun to sip. The Springfield was next and this had lavender syrup topped with blueberry cold foam to make it a super sweet and flavorful drink. Both drinks delivered with flavor but for me the espresso wasn't strong but that's just me as everyone has a different tolerance for caffeine. The service was good and it's pretty much a grab and go since there is no seats and one two seater couch. They do have an arcade game to pass the time as you wait for your drink. Since this city doesn't have many shops it's good for the demographic. The parking is scarce so be warned. And that's my take on it, Peace out...

First time here and it is kinda hidden. Was a little tricky for parking but I got lucky and was able to find a spot. It was busy when I went but the lane moved pretty fast. It's small inside and doesn't have an area to lounge if you were looking for that but the staff is nice and helpful. I created my own drink and got Three shots of espresso with sugar-free white chocolate, mocha with almond milk, and vanilla cold foam and cinnamon over ice.

I almost missed this place since it is so hidden. With that being said I think they need better signs outside but other than that my experience was great. Customer service was good and they were pretty fast for the line they had. The drinks were also tasty, my mom said the mazapán was delicious. There's not much seating inside so it's more of a gran and go place but if I'm in the area I'd stop again.

Couch set up in the waiting area with Simpson memorabilia so cute!

Just visited the hood grind coffee for the first time today the location is hidden in a little nook in downtown Rialto so just put it in your maps so you find it right away. I ordered the Springfield which has their lavender blueberry foam it was a 10/10 flavor wise and very delicious. You can tell they care about the quality of their ingredients here which is what I appreciate.

Delicious drink, great vibes. Place is small and orders always to go but service is nice and they help navigate menu. A bit pricy and I wouldn't make it a daily purchase but definitely a treat!

Cute coffee shop with a simple but beautiful aesthetic. This coffee shop is not really a hang out place, there's no tables, it's more of a to go coffee shop. I loved the paintings and the fun arcade game, my husband and I played it while waiting for our drinks. The customer service was amazing, definitely 5 star worthy! We ordered the horchata lattes and they were delicious. So glad we decided to try this spot out. We always love supporting small businesses!

Visited on a Sunday around noon & the line was mostly people waiting for their drinks, parking can be slim but it's well worth the wait. Staff was super friendly & had great suggestions.

Stopped here for some matcha. They had strawberry, blueberry, or ube I got strawberry. Matcha flavor wasn't too strong it's more milky . Still had good taste . The place is small and a little hard to find because they don't have a sign outside. No seats inside either to sit down it's more of a grab and go place . Overall would recommend next time I have to try their coffee. The service was good and fast

This place was cool to visit and while I'm not a big coffee drinker, their menu impressed me. My family are the big coffee drinkers. They have unique flavors like horchata and mazapán. I personally got the vanilla chai latte. They also have teas and juices. The location is kinda tight but hey when there's a will there's a way. Once you enter there's a lot more room and they've begun to decorate it with nostalgia items. The service is great. The guy who took our order was thorough and cool. Made you feel like a friend. We ordered about 8 drinks and it took about 10 minutes. But it was ok because we enjoyed the decor and also looked at their merch.

This place is a local hidden treasure. Nestled in a corner nook, no lavish signs, just a small parking lot ...you will know you are in the right spot by the line of people waiting outside the door. Upon entry there is a fun nostalgic vibe that showcased some art, merch , a cute couch and cool street fighter arcade. Their menu features House made syrups with sugar free options and smooth espressos, you can make your own drink but I highly recommend the blueberry cold foam and the peaches sugar free syrup ... they also make a delicious cold brew. It was pricey about $22 with tip and took over 15 mins because they only have one register, however the front counter was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions without rushing me, he has an amazing positive vibe which got me excited to be there.. We ended up waiting outside, shortly the owner came out with our drinks, I felt that was extremely thoughtful and courteous. I really enjoyed my experience because all good things take time and they make beautiful delicious handcrafted drinks... not just espresso... this is an experience. I'm impressed because I'm known to write extremely critical reviews... I just gotta be honest when I say I wish this place continued success and growth. You gotta try this place earlier in the day before the brunch rush. And be patient, the line moves faster than you think trust the service and drinks are worth the wait.

I had visited this cafe once before at the end of 2024. At the time, they only had two workers making the drinks. I believe they were short staffed. The place had been packed. It took about 30 minutes for me to get my drinks. I had gotten a matcha latte. I decided to come back again and risk waiting to see if it would take 30 minutes for me to get my drink again. It had been a long time since I had gone so I was hoping there would be an improvement and that time was a one off. This a popular cafe spot, there is always people. The cafe decor is urban street culture, with some paintings, merch, a TV playing the Simpsons, a couch, and an arcade game. I didn't wait in line for that long. People were always coming in and out of the cafe. There is no seating inside. I asked the barista if I should add a flavor to my matcha. He said it was up to me and recommended me some options if I wanted. He was helpful. He said the matcha was sweetened so I decided not to add to it. I got the 24oz. I didn't wait too long like I did last time. My matcha was done well and tasted good. I enjoyed it!

This was my very first time at The Hood Grind Coffee, which was recommended by a close friend. It is located in the shopping center off of First and Riverside, rather hidden, but it contributes to the ambiance. The store is very unique and has a lot of nice artwork by a local artist on the walls. The menu is available online and there are seasonal items, but we opted for the popular items: nuez con coco and mazapan. We were definitely not disappointed and we were even happier to know their story. Overall, the owners were very friendly and shared a bit about their story, which is incredible, and impressive considering they started doing delivery and now have their own storefront. The price of their items are normal to other specialty coffee shops, but the quality of the coffee is good. We will definitely support this business and recommend to others! If you get a chance, come support a great small business!

This garnered a heated discussion with my colleague that Nine Eight Five Coffee can be a rival. I heard of Nine Eight Five but never been. Honestly, knowing that it is in the ghetto San Bernardino veered me away. My wife, however, got a Kyoto matcha from there and recommended we go. Happy wife = happy life. Driving there, my thoughts were: "yup, we're in the ghetto" when we saw three homeless in the nearby 7-11. There was a small red sign reading "985 Coffee" which we almost missed. We were warmly greeted by the barista when we walked in. It was a clean interior with a few seats (possibly additional seating when it gets busy?). I was hungrily eyeing the menu and settled on a chicken pesto sandwich and sans banana matcha drink. My kids noticed the sweets and immediately requested a chocolate dipped matcha cookie and peach iced tea. My wife doesn't like overly sweet and settled on the coconut matcha. The drinks came fast but the food took a while. My wife wasn't quite happy with the appearance of her coconut drink because it was literally matcha foam on coconut water. But, the coconut water's sweetness contrasted with the bitter matcha notes. It was a fantastic drink. My son didn't like the dark chocolate half of the matcha cookie but ate all the non-chocolate parts. The matcha cookie was chewy and non-overly sweet. My daughter ended up stealing my sandwich. She LOVED the chicken pesto sandwich. The bread was soft, the chicken tender, slices of fresh tomato, arugula and generous portions of avocado pesto. She even ate the arugula and tomato!! She now has a new favorite sandwich. My wife was apprehensive with the sans banana matcha. In her words, "it's just banana." It ended up as our favorite. The banana did not taste artificial (usually the main problem with anything banana), and it complemented the matcha really well. The Sans Banana is the only banana matcha that my wife approves. Tip: a lot of people order ahead on their app because it can get busy! We will do this for much anticipated future visits.

We enjoyed some tea blends, golden fish balls and perfectly crispy fries. Our drinks were a nice range to see what Rapha had to offer. A blended strawberry & cream was a smooth blend resembling an Italian ice sort of shake. The lychee butterfly tea with sea salt foam was a tad sweet I would maybe do 50% less sugar next time. But the flavor was nice and refreshing. The featured flavor was a nice Thai tea brown sugar with cold foam and boba. This was also a tad too sweet for my liking. I would maybe try it with less sweetness. It's a nice option to have customizations for individual tastes making each visit more enjoyable. The golden fish balls.. yes golden are a bit hot right when they come out. Be careful! It has a sort of glutinous rice chewy exterior with a juicy filling. It was actually pretty good. Definitely not a first date kinda food, more like yelpers wanting to be more adventurous kinda day. The fries were nice and crispy with the perfect spice level. Dips include a spice Thai, ranch or ketchup. They have a game shelf for guests to enjoy while sipping on their favorite drinks. Great to extend visit with some good laughs and entertainment. Parking available on the side and back lots. Shared with the other businesses it can get a little congested. A cute little stop to spend a few hours with some good drinks and good company.

The end result was that by the time we got home, 3 were smashed, the boxes already had several marks of the treats soaking all the way through. This is specifically why I asked for a proper cupcake/pastries container because otherwise part of the frosting/treat oils are lost in transit making for a bit of a dried out texture by the time you get to try them.
