Excellent service, fast drive thru and good food. Was surprised at how much it cost for Egg McMuffins!

On Thursday, June 29, I visited your drive thru. Ordered: 2 Quarter Pounders w/cheese, 1 Big Mac and 1 Medium Fry. After getting home as always my frys were cold and soggy, BUT I wasn't expecting to take the first bite of my Quarter Pounder, I noticed the meat was very mushy and pink around the outer edges, the inside was RED! I tried to warn my husband, but it was too late, he was so hungry he started eating his in the car and finished it on the time we got in the house. Later that night my husband got sick. I called the Support Center 1-877-646-0168 immediately that was at 6:10 p.m. they took my information and said someone will contact me soon. Well today is Sunday, July 3 and I haven't heard anything from anyone at McDonalds, not even an apology. Shame on you McDonalds. read more

I very rarely eat at mcdonalds. And, unfortunately had to est there twice in the last few days. My first order, a #2, was given to me raw and sitting in enough grease to soak the bottom bun. When I removed the meat to eat with a knife and fork I discovered it was raw inside. My second meal, chicken nuggets meal, was not. It was a disgusting filet o fish drowned in tartar sauce. Unfortunately for me these meals were supposed to be my dinner. I work half an hour away at a hospital with a cafeteria that closes early. No dinner for two nights. Very poor service yesterday evening. Waiting at the order counter for 4 or 5 minutes, nobody came. A worker came to the counter and then took the order of another employee the was quite in depth. Took another 3 or 4 minutes before she told us to us the self serve kiosk. That was the only words from this employee. No hi. No just a minute. Nothing. This is simply a rant/review of probably what is a lack of training and also a weak hiring process. I submitted the following as "feedback" via McDonald's app and will also post on Yelp if there is any follow-up from McDonald's. --Begin Rant--- I ordered 4 items via app. Arrived at the drive-up station and conveyed my code. The resulting menu confirmed my four items. I drive to the cashier window and obtain the receipt. Get to the food window and was handed 3 items, but my soft drink was missing. I ask the employee about it. She says no drink was ordered. I look at the receipt and do not see a drink. I drive around and park to look closer at the receipt. I see an order for Big Mac (5.39), Decaf Coffee (1.29), promo order of French Fries (0), but the soft drink is not shown on the receipt. The two cost items total 6.68, tax is .58, and take-out total is 7.26. BUT, at the bottom of the receipt it shows that the transaction amount is for 8.67, a difference of 1.41 (cost of medium soft drink with tax). SO, I take the receipt inside and talk to a man in a blue shirt. I show him the receipt and tell him that I was charged for a medium drink but it doesnt show up on the receipt. I show him my email for the mobile order, that shows the drink. He replies that he doesnt know. I ask if he is the manager, to which he responds yes. He tells me that the total was for 7.26, but I tell him I was charged 8.67, which also shows up on the receipt. Hey says he doesnt know. I tell him that the difference between the transaction amount and what I was charged, is the cost of the medium soft drink. He says he doesnt know. Now put yourself in the customers shoes. You need a drink with a meal and you have paid for the drink. The only missing piece is the idiot in the blue shirt handing you a plastic cup. You dont give a crap about the 1.41, but at this point you would gladly contribute a hundred bucks to a campaign that would close this specific restaurant down. How the drink got missed on the receipt, I dont know nor do I care. The only thing that I care about is going to a place of business and getting the product that I've paid for. --End Rant-- read more

This place has gotten pretty bad, they are literally parking everyone, there's no more spaces left to park in, when you go inside ignore you, they only have one poor girl that's trying to get these orders out. I'm embarrassed to admit I went to McDonald's. I was just so busy that it was my fastest option for how hungry I was. I pulled up to the drive thru and all I wanted was the new Arch Deluxe. Only that. No drink, no fries, just the burger. So I say this into the talking box and the woman says, "Number 12,13 or 14?" "No, I only want the burger." She says again, "Yeah (all snotty) number 12, 13, or 14." "I ONLY WANT THE BURGER! NO FRIES, NO DRINK! JUST THE BURGER!!!", I yell back. "Yeah, (all snotty again) Just the burger?" "YeeEEEsssSSS", I say back. Then she gives me my total and I proceed to the first window. There was a car in front of my car, so while I sat there I snapped a shot of the big "M" on the side of the building. I looked up and the woman in the window is staring at me all wide eyed as I pull up. She saw me take the photo. The first thing she says to me is "Oh, sorry." Sorry for what, not listening then giving me an attitude? I will say that the new Arch Deluxe is one of the best things to come out of McDonalds since I was 3 years old and had my first cheeseburger. McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - San Ramon, California

I went to this McDonald today and ordered and paid for my food at 10:15am using the app. The drive-through line was so long and I waited 17 mins and finally got to my turn. But then they said it has already passed 10:30am and the breakfast can no longer be served. I asked them patiently and they said they will talk to the manager. Finally they asked me to pull up to the window to pick up the food. I waited another 7 minutes and finally got to the window to pick up the food. But then they told me they don't see my order and ask me to leave. I spoke to their manager (Robin) and she said I had to go inside the restaurant, stay in line and order the food again. Not only I waited more than 20 mins and didn't get the food that I already paid for, both the manager and the server was also so rude and don't give a "sh*t" about their customers. Today I ordered Qtr Pounder meals (2C) with a vanilla shake and for my wife a # 5 with a Sprite. I went back to the store and talked to the manage and he acted as if I was personally insulting him. I had gotten halfway through my burger and found two long hairs so needless to say I didn't finish it. If i am not mistaken hairnets are supposed to be worn while working in a kitchen. My wife's Sprite tasted musty/moldy as if the soda lines hadn't been cleaned out. He said that wasn't his fault as the company is the one who maintains the equipment. He kept asking what I wanted and I replied that I wanted a refund. When he was tapping the screen to create a refund it was if he was in an argument with someone and he was poking him in the chest very hard. He nearly knocked the display off the stand. A manager's job is to make sure things operate properly and to be the face of the company and franchisee. His name is Antonio. I hope the Franchisee and the company take notice of this and take corrective action. read more

The person placing my order was on a personal call so even though my order was simple she got it all wrong aside from that they served me cold fries and a hard bun food was not edible at all ended up throwing it away. The McPlant veggie burger is finally orderable via the kiosk. Note that it does not show up on the website as of 2022-03-19 so only via the kiosk. So I physically walk inside of the restaurant to order it. I am a vegetarian so I have eaten plenty of veggie burgers before. I honestly like their version of it and would eat it again. My complaint is that the fries were kind of dry like they have been sitting under the heat lamp too long. It may be that next time I will have better luck than that. This McDonald's is rarely ever satisfying, if it is not the manager being rude, it is the quality of the food. More times then 1 I have had my food be incorrect or my service be unsatisfactory. I would love to say they are great and food is too but there's no way I can! I have not been to a McDonalds in a long time and won't be going again any time soon. They have a sign that asks you to have your order ready but the menu is AFTER that sign. and the person in the second window handed me my food and never said one word. I understand trying to move things along if you are busy, but they weren't. At all. Regarding food: I tried the CBO because I love onions and cheese but it was gross. This is the closest McDonalds to my house. The drive-thru is pretty efficient and it has prime location to 680. Their customer service had always been excellent. Another mcdonalds forgot my honey mustard. As I headed home I stopped by this one, told them what happened and they gave me the sauces and apologized. Today, my wife picked up some food on the way home. They forgot my Big Mac. I headed back there and the manager instantly acknowledged that it was his fault, apologized and asked me if I would like a drink or a desert. I asked for an apple pie and was given two in addition to my Big Mac and my apple pie. I appreciate this sort of customer service. They owned up to the error and compensated me for my trouble. read more

This is by far the worst McDonald's. They never get orders right. My kids like McDonald's as an occasional treat and this is the nearest location to my house at 10 minutes away. The last time I ordered from here in June of 2022, they messed up my order thru the drive thru which we noticed when we got home. I called since I live 10 minutes away and whoever answered had loud music playing in the background. She told me she couldn't really hear me and hung up on me. I called back but no answer. I complained to corporate but this McDonald's never responded. Then, today, my wife took the kids and she gets home and there is food missing. She calls the store and no one answers. She called corporate but this does nothing to fix this franchise. Whether it be no sauce with nuggets, a missing sandwich, no fries or the wrong drink, this place is the worst. Worst McDonald's location in my opinion. Every time we ask for ready to made order fries, they give us old ones. I even asked the lady if the fries were fresh, and she looked at me dead in the eye and said "yes they are." When I opened the bag, surprise, old fries. Today, I asked for fresh fries. Worst customer service! Ordered one breakfast sandwich at the kiosk, to pay cash at the counter. There were at least 5 people working. Not one person came to accept my money, even after they made eye contact with me. After 20 minutes I asked one of the workers walking by me if I could pay for my sandwich. All the bad reviews are true! I placed an order to have it delivered to the pickup/parking area. The woman who brought the food didn't even look at me. No "hi" or " thank you" nor any word. I saw no straws with the drinks. I asked "do you have straws?" She said "NO" and walked away. I shrugged off and drove off. Then I saw her coming back with straws. Again, no words to the customer. I know she's not mute cuz she was chatting in perfect English with her friend at the parking lot. This person seemed not wanting to be there. Not a reason to mistreat customers. The wrost place to eat after hours. The night shift is totally apathetic about providing professional customer service and satisfaction. They do not own up to their mistakes when they mess up and direct their anger at you for the inconvenience of you calling them on their mistakes! Also, be careful, another tactic employed by the night cook at times are to pre-make the burgers/food, let it sit up awhile and instead of throwing it out when the time expires they will reheat it and give it to you past the expiration time. Also, instead of making "fries to order," they'll cook fries and let them remain there and you end up getting lukewarm to fairly warm fries instead of hot fries. I have no personal contempt, animosity, nor an ulterior purpose in presenting this scathing review. I am simply pointing out the deficiencies in management not properly supervising the night shift and a lack of professional Quality in serving the late night drive-through customers. Pure objective constructive criticism. I work the graveyard Patrol shift in this city and have gone through their graveyard drive-thru and many times given terrible substandard McDonald's food and when complained to the night manager/ supervisor "she" showed nothing but apathy in trying to make the situation right nor offer to compensate for any inconvenience. - not even a sorry! Although they're the only Eatery open past 1 a.m. I now don't even bother wasting my time going there now, instead I go to the local 7-Eleven when I'm hungry. read more

This San Ramon locations is terrible. They're notorious for not putting your entire order in the bag, and I've noticed it's gotten worse over the years. Don't waste your money by going here. There are plenty of other locations close enough by. There's also an In-N-Out right up the street, or a Taco Bell in the same plaza. I've never had good service at this place. I've been here only a couple times, the last time being over a year ago. Because service isn't good. But today I gave them another try. Wish I hadn't. The person taking my order spoke softly and quickly became irritated when I had to ask her to repeat. The person who gave me my order was pleasant but her responses were inappropriate to what was told to her. Made me think of the saying, the lights were on but no one was home. Not much to report in regards to the food here. Pretty standard affair. Every year I go to McDonalds (founded in 1948) and I have to get my Big Mac (introduced in 1968), Filet Fish (introduced in 1963) and french fries (introduced in 1949) fix. Let's just say they've had the same formula for as long as I can remember. Drive thru (introduced in 1975) is an option at this San Ramon location, otherwise parking spaces here are tight. And if the lot is full, you can park just adjacent to the property along with other strip mall customers. In the old days, they use to post how many customers they had served (over 20 billion), and now one of their claim to fames is that they are located in 119 countries and have over 36,000 outlets. read more

McDonald corporate needs to conduct an unannounced inspection at this location! We purchased a McDouble and chicken nuggets and both were extremely dry. It is very obvious that the food had been left on the counter for a long time and reheated. This was the absolute worst hamburger I ever had. Big Mac? The burgers were perhaps an 1/8 of an inch thick, 2" across on a 3" bun, no catsup or mayo or anything. Cheese and a dab of lettuce the size of a penny. Fries were cold and dry. And no catsup in the dispenser. Maybe they should spend less money on the decor and buy some actual food to sell. You can't expect much from a mcdonalds anymore, but after a concert needed a quick bite to eat. Swung by this one bc it was near my house. It seemed fine until the drunks walked up right next to my vehicle at the first window, they wanted to order food...on foot. At this point I had paid and was sitting at the 2nd window waiting for my order as the employee sat and told them to leave but then folded and instead of completing my order went back to take care of the party goers. That's where it became irritating. I had to get out and go back to the 1st window to ask for the food I has already paid for...after waiting a total of 15 min I finally received my food, from a very rude employee who didn't seem to think she did wrong.
