Not sure what everyone is complaining about. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This might be one of the nicest McDonald's I've ever been to. Clean, bright and all their electronic ordering menus work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plenty of parking too. Don't live in the area but if I did I would come here often. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only reason 4-stars is that they were out of ice in one machine and the outside was a bit sketchy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Other than that, decent place to get some quick late night grub.

A nickel thin slice of ham. So thin I couldn't even taste it in the sandwich. This is getting ridiculous Mickey D's.

This rant is inspired by the MOST DISAPPOINTING McDonald's breakfast, because of Mc D's cutting corners as a corporation, NOT by the hard working employees there. After doing a liquid fast for a day, I decided to reward myself by accepting the offer of an oj, hashbrowns, and an egg, ham, and cheese breakfast sammie (yum!) from my fiancé since he was getting breakfast there anyway. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The hashbrown was lukewarm and soft; so sad when you're expecting your first bite of food in a day to be hot and crispy. The cup of oj was not full but tasted fine. When I bit into the sandwich, I asked if he had ordered the Canadian bacon (ham) on the sandwich. When he said he did, I told him that they forgot to add it because I couldn't taste it. Upon closer inspection, I peeled off an anemic, nickel thin strip of deli sliced ham from my biscuit as you can see in my Pic below. Didn't it used to be twice as, if not more, thick? My questions are these: when did this happen? Has it been like this for a while, and I've just been blissfully unaware, munching on SAUSAGE egg mcmuffins? Do I need to go back to the sausage? Is this due to the rising cost of food? Is anyone else noticing this? I have so many questions to which there is only one answer... forget McDonald's. Bummer, Mickey D's. What a bummer.

2 Cheeseburger Meal, paid 20 cents to add lettuce....for about 5 shreds of it

This location seems to consistently mess up orders...especially mobile orders (which they push on you to do)! The food never seem freshly made, and the temperature is just barely warm. The fries especially seem to never be hot. The latest issue (which is featured in the attached photo) is that I paid 20 cents to add lettuce to my cheeseburger. There were maybe 5-6 "shreds" of lettuce on it. I mean, seriously, come on, that's it...for 20 cents?!?! What a rip off! I'm so done with this place. In the future if I get a random craving for McDonald's I'll just go to Carp or Goleta. This SB locations suck! Also, the customer service, if you're lucky enough to get someone to actually speak with, is awful. So sad! Especially when they will be making more per hour than a healthcare worker?!

This photo is what the outside of the restaurant looks like.

The highs and lows of McDonalds. they have good food because they always have limited offers like a chicken big Mack. However I feel like every time I do a pick up order they always get my order wrong because once I came to get a ice cream when I did a pick up order I thought it would just be easier but the came and gave me a Mc flurry I said I ordered a ice cream she said that there ice cream machine was broken I said if you made me a mc flurry how would she not be able to make a ice cream so she went inside and made one. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also one thing I like is the ambiance because it's very inviting but there are these 2 really long tables that sit 15 each I thought that was cool but it's kinda worn sitting next to people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would recommend mc Donald's only if you eat inside.

Provender: the food is what you would expect. Prices: typical McD's prices. Parking: ample, they have a dedicated lot. People: fun for all, but there is a homeless population that hangs out near/in front. Perks: no drive thru, so you're going to have to eat in. But it's clean inside, and they have a lot of seating options, i.e., booths, stools, circular tables for two.

    Under construction!

We stopped here to pick up a coffee and a quick bite. Unfortunately the restaurant was under construction so the inside area was not very attractive. One part of the restaurant was available for dining in and it was clean and comfortable. The service was fast and the crew was friendly and happy to explain why things were all torn apart.

Come to McDonald's whenever McRib happens. It's the best.

This is a really solid McDonald's location. Hey, I know it's just McDonald's but for someone like me who absolutely loves Big Macs, McChickens, you name it...consistency is important. This location has hard working employees and the greatness starts at the top. I see active leadership by management to ensure a quality experience and these people treat their customers like family. The fries are usually quite fresh, which is amazing because you can taste the difference. No Drive-Thru but honestly there's hardly a wait-time and there is plenty of seating in this location. CNBC has returned to the television so it's always nice to sit by the TV and hear some of the locals chat about the market. Important **cool** note about this place: There's a basketball court! The sign says you can ask for the ball at the counter but I wonder if that's true...

I'm actually really impressed at how they can multitask all orders in less than three minute wait time.

THE BEST FISH TACOS IN TOWN!!!…read more Walked into this little spot on a Sunday afternoon & was met by the coolest host, Fiona. As a first timer, she was able to suggest a few awesome options to me & I went ahead and ordered their fish tacos (2 to be exact) with chips & salsa. Not only was the fish crispy & fried to perfection, but the sauce, pickled onions and avocado were on point! Seriously, the best fish taco I've had in Santa Barbara. Also, not pictured is their chocolate chip cookie which was out of this world! They also have some great outdoor seating which is always a favorite. Great atmosphere, well kept & clean, and perfectly located. I would highly recommend this spot to any seafood lover! Their service is IMPECCABLE, food is divine & location is ideal. Can't get any better than this!

It is much casual set up and quick grab and go option if you don't have time. Fish and chips - I am never into fried food that much but these days I am on mission to try fish and chips everywhere. I liked how crispy it was and tartar sauce was perfect! Clam chowder: I have had clam chowders in so many places but this hit differently. I think it has perfect combination of clams, veggies and cream! The only problem is very limited seating outside. People were waiting to find spot . However, fun fact was people just sat with each other if big table had extra sits empty like canteen :) Both are these dishes are from Brophy Bros specialties selection so I did not miss on that. OTA is casual and Brophy bro is nice dine in experience and dish as more sides to it. Highly recommend!

Over all these years, I have avoided the Funky Zone for various silly reasons. But for a while now,…read morewhen I visit my friend's auto repair shop downtown, he always gets Turkey Burgers from here. Always looking for places to have solo lunch, I finally ventured to FZ. There's no sign. I drove by several times and parked, determined to find it. It was next to Lama Dog. I ordered at the window from a very friendly and efficient staff member. I found a nice bar-height communal table inside a super cool restored warehouse with awesome indie music jamming, also surrounded by big screens and sporting events. I ordered a bottled Arnold Palmer from the bar, not realizing the bottled drinks are self-serve. Nevertheless, the bartender kindly got it for me along with a glass of ice. Now here's the best part: the very best Turkey Burger I have ever had--way better than any take-out before. It's topped with garlic aioli, avocado, melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, and crispy skinny onion rings, just perfect. I also ordered the fries with truffle and Parmesan--absolutely delicious, though a bit too flavorful, which overshadowed the turkey burger's flavor. I've tried both sweet and regular potato fries here, and they are excellent too. This place really hits the spot. Can't wait to come back.

Was enough for us to share between two. Creamy and cheesy, but could've used more lobster. Would've expected a better lobster to macaroni ratio with this one. Prices are a little steeper here. It was $25 for the Lobster mac & cheese, which I would've been more open to with a bit more fish in the dish. Plus, when I go to grab a beer, I'm not necessarily wanting to pay $20+ for a burger without fries. That being said, it's still a good spot to grab some food while drinking a beer at Lama Dog.
