Still good I had Hotcakes & Sausage on my mind this morning and swung by this McDonald's, hoping the dining room was open. It was. As a result of the pandemic and staffing issues, not all McDonald dining rooms are open in the area. This dining room was large, clean, a nice layout, and empty of other customers. The drive-thru was busy. My order taker included pleasantries in addition to asking what I wanted. I requested 2 syrups with this breakfast and got them without having to ask a second time. Good job. It only took a couple of minutes for my food to be ready. The food was fine, exactly what I have come to expect. The sausage has a good flavor, the pancakes do good with soaking up the syrup. read more

First and foremost, McDonald's is in a category called "fast food" which in this case is an absolute joke. Nothing is fast about the place except perhaps for the gastrointestinal issues you will encounter soon after. When I pulled in at 7 AM on a Saturday there were literally over 20 cars waiting to order at the drive thru. For expedience sake I decided to walk in. This is wheee I discovered the issue. Three employees slowly meandering about with no purpose in life. This was the walk of the living dead. Little Rose at the counter needs to learn how to pick up the pace. You can do more than wait in one customer every 15 minutes. Her efforts were wholeheartedly endorsed by the manager who's sole purpose in life seems to be making g sure her makeup is just right - and it's not- this is a fast food place not a strip club honey. Worst service, slowest pace and the food isn't worth dealing with this garbage. Plenty of other places around to spend my food dollar. A sandwich from a Circle K or a vending machine would be quicker and taste the same. Poor franchisee who owns this place must be losing his shirt, or his desire to do business is what creates this crap atmosphere. Stay away! read more

Asked for a large Coke kid hand it to me completely overfilled spills all over me in the car. No apology asked for napkins. He hands me napkins. I clean up what I could clean up then I asked for more napkins. The kids try not to use them all at once. I'm like are you kidding me? It's all over my car all over and you're trying to limit how many napkins I can use that. After spilling all over my car and paying two dollars for cost $.10 they're worried about the cost of napkins? Also, the menu is outdated and they charge more on the register than their menu prices. read more

I have been using this McDonald's for breakfast for the past year. I must say, I get excellent service, but there are three employees in particular who give great customer service there.They go above and beyond for the customers of McDonald's. The employees are Robin, Jimmy,and Brenda. If these three my employees were working in my company, They would definitely get a raise and compensated with a promotion,and a monthly gift card,etc.Now a days ,employees like them are hard to find and retain. Very disorganized and inefficient. It was the beginning of the dinner rush but they didn't seem to have things all together. Seemed confused by a mobile order pickup, too. The inside wasn't as clean as others in the area. The food was good and seemed reasonably fresh - not super hot but pretty warm, lettuce in the Big Mac was crisp so freshly made. Overall, better to continue down Bee Ridge to the next one. read more

The drive-thru was empty but, the one car in front of me ordered a fish fillet which disgusted me. But once I got over that, I ordered my food, the person at the first window was great at their job. Second window, not the same. Took about 2 minutes to get my food, I shouldn't even have to stop, they should just throw it through the window as I'm driving. Food was great tho. I'd give zero stars if given the chance. Not only did they take 5 mins just to take my order, but then they messed it up. I waited 10 mins for an ice coffee and a pie while 4 orders after me got their food consisting of sandwhiches and fries and finally I get my coffee and there is no milk. I ask them to remake it and this big mouth lady with a lisp gave me MAJOR additude saying "well your order didnt say milk" and then proceeded to remake it. Then I go "what about my pie" and was given even more attitude from this woman. And then I GET THE WRONG PIE. Not to mention the bathrooms were so dirty and I saw 3 cockroaches in there. Came here late night and pulled in the drive though, menu board was lit I could hear the speaker on. I was there saying hello for several minutes got nothing so I drove to the window where people were ducking and hiding from customers and not taking orders. Unfortunately, nothing is very good about this place... This McDonalds is very hard to get to from the interstate. It is hard to even figure out how to get there. You have to get off, turn left at a light, go down to another left, and drive through a big parking lot to get there. It is easy to think the entrance is not the right entrance and wind up having to try and go all the way around again. At late night there were only two people working, and it was s-l-o-w even though we were the only ones there. Not to mention the guy taking orders couldn't even be bothered to greet us or say anything when the transaction was over. read more

The last thing my wife ate was a small portion of a McDonald's kiddy meal from this location on Wed, Jan 3th for lunch. As of today, Jan 6th, she is still recovering from one of the worst cases of food poisoning I've ever seen. A phone call to let the manager know will not go through unless you enter a special access code. I'd bet that she is not the only person to suffer from this food borne illness generated here. That may be why they're not answering their phone. I would advise people to avoid eating anything from this McPetri dish restaurant unless you really need to lose weight, take a few days off work, or can't afford a better weight loss plan. They're trying their best, which I appreciate it. Due to it being the closest McDonald's by my house & highway, I come by often and they're always busy. It looks like they're short staff half of the time but I have lovely conversations with the people either at the drive-thru or front counter. I come to understand that working at a fast food restaurant isn't easy, especially during breakfast and lunch hours, they're trying their best especially with the people. If you come in rude, or you're having a bad day just don't come in. If you're coming just to be difficult, that's probably why everything is extra slow. I've been coming to this McDonald's for years and found that the people are nice, they're just stressed. Shouldn't excuse the service though but we are all human, not machines. read more

My mother on Mother's Day wanted to use the bathroom and when she tried to there were a mom and a daughter. The men were at the bathrooms saying it was closed even though it closed at 10:00pm. So the manager came and said the lobby is closed and then they could not use the bathroom I do not recommend this awful McDonald's. read more

This McDonald's is the worst. We've been here three times and have only had one somewhat decent experience. This is the only 24 hour location in the area. We drove out of our way to go there and when we arrived there was an employee in the parking lot turning people away saying they were actually closed. Today we went there and waited 15 minutes in the drive thru line before even getting to the ordering station. When we got there, I waited another five minutes in dead silence waiting for someone to even greet me. I finally said "hello?" into the microphone and was told to wait another minute...which turned into a few minutes. I tried to use my app to pay and by the time I was actually able to order, the deal had expired in the app and I wasn't even able to use it. I asked the lady at the window if they were short staffed or something because it was taking awhile. She called a manager over and he couldn't give me any reason as to why it was taking so long. No apology or anything. Just extremely poor service with no urgency. This is FAST FOOD! I feel bad for anyone stopping at this exit right off the highway to get food. They suck. ran my card twice and said it got declined just for me to later find out I got charged double. Then I call them about the situation and get hung up on.
