Stopped by postal 98 cafe this past weekend before we headed to the beach this is a cute very small coffee shop near Yoders where you can get drinks and also have breakfast sandwiches and even some lunch menu items. I decided to get a salted maple iced latte and the coffee itself is really good. This spot is super cute but it is very tiny and parking is limited I luckily found a spot up front. Parking is a challenge but if you can find a spot, you gotta check this place out! The inside is small with minimal seating but there is lots of outdoor seating and this place is billed as more of a takeaway and bike up sort of location. The coffee was fantastic--I worried it would be overly sweet but not so! The siesta sand foam latte was 10/10, and the whoopie pie was very sweet but delicious and cakey--if you want sweet, it will be perfect, if don't like sugary sweet I do not recommend. My daughter surprised me by taking us here for breakfast this morning. We ordered iced coffees and breakfast sandwiches. They were made on order so were fresh and hot when received. I had the maple caramel latte and an egg bacon cheese wrap. It was all delicious. It's a cute location and although parking is at a premium we were able to park right in front. I ordered a drink that I thought had coffee in it. I was totally misunderstood and it happen to be some fruit flavored sweet juice. It was disgusting. So I came up front and explained that it was my misunderstanding, but the drink was not what I expected and it tasted bad. I was requesting for a different drink and to pay the difference. The person in charge that day came up to me and said it wasn't possibly and I'd have to buy a new drink. I set the drink down and said "Well you guys can throw it away because it's not good" She said to me "You can do whatever you want with your drink because you paid for it." Lucky me Sweet Lebanon Bologna Sandwich. Once I saw that listed on their menu, I was determined to visit Postal 98 Café. It wasn't easy, they have two parking spots, plus a third for handicap parking. Both spots were occupied. I circled around a few times, also checking the immediate area where there were scary towaway signs if I parked in one of those spots. I finally parked far away, by the time I walked to Postal 98 one spot was open, then the second, and they were both available for the rest of my visit. I guess I was unlucky. Was my Sweet Lebanon Bologna sandwich worth it? Sure. The sandwich was not fancy, a pile of sliced meat and thick slices of cheese on rye bread, with some mayo. What I liked was the flavor of the meat, a rare treat. I wonder why on this limited menu it was listed, popular with Mennonites? Cute little coffee shop offers a limited food menu and creative coffee drinks. I've been twice now and have had pleasant experiences. The first trip I got parking right outside. There's only two stalls though so it's very very limited. Both times I ordered lattes. They have been delicious. I'd say they get pretty creative with their frappes and lattes offering combinations of syrups to make candy bar like flavors. I also had their sausage Av egg wrap. Yum! While it did take them awhile to make it, it was so hearty and flavorful. It was packed with sausage egg and cheese. Seating is very limited inside but they have a lot of outdoor space. Saw the good reviews and was driving through Amish section and decided to stop by Postal 98 Cafe today, which is just west of Yoder's on Bahia Vista. I typically don't do the 9000 calorie "milkshake" coffees like my 17 year old son does, but they have a variety of those and they all looked yummy. I just had a large black brewed coffee and it was excellent. I was going to order the Dave's Special (ham, eggs, cheese, tomato, and mayo on everything bagel), but instead I ordered the Sausage, Egg & Sharp American Cheese Wrap on a Jalapeño Cheddar Wrap. They hand you a buzzer and you find a seat outside (plenty of outside table and bar seats). While waiting, I saw the Dave's Special being served and started regretting not ordering it (will next time!). When I got my wrap, it wasn't what I was expecting. It was WAY BETTER. This cafe was fantastic! They had delicious comfort food/sandwiches. Really yummy large cookies too! The decor and overall atmosphere was gorgeous! The staff has been so kind and helpful every time I've come. They offer free WiFi, and possibly my favorite fact is that they are open late which is a MUCH needed niche for Sarasota. Non alcoholic cafes are not open late in SRQ so it was wonderful discovery to find this family friendly restaurant in Pinecraft. (Another awesome thing is that they do not enforce masks. But there are options for those who do choose to wear masks and social distance such as their outdoor ordering window and outdoor pickup window). Lovely place and lovely people! read more

Fed us a coffee that tasted like chemicals. One sip, my gf and I both agreed it tasted awful. The coffee was clearly still full. When we complained and asked for a replacement we were told "you can order another with a 10% discount" Generally takes 15 min for an order to be completed too. Wow, just wow. My wife and I were in town staying at an airBnB. We walked here and loved the area. We were welcomed with quick amazing service. The food was surprisingly good! It looked amazing but tasted better. Seriously surprised there are not more reviews here. Very cozy and welcoming. I got the Dave's special, an everything bagel with egg tomato (I opted for no tomato) bacon, cheese, and Mayo. It was stellar. My wife got the BLT, like woah. I've never been a BLT fan but we traded halfway through and each of us liked the others meal better. Can't go wrong with either option. I also got a LARGE cookie and my wife got the turtle cheese quiche. Both were soft, sweet, and delicious. My wife also got a coffee. She said she normally doesn't like hole in the wall coffee shops and chooses chains like Starbucks normally, but she thought the coffee was terrific too. If you need an AirBnB, check out Erinn's place on Floyd street within walking distance. Very cozy little home. You won't regret coming here! A diamond in the ruff, highly recommend you get here. I ordered a sweet cold brew, BLT on a bagel, and a s'mores cookie. The coffee was balanced nicely, just the right amount of sweetness.
