What a gem! While visiting Sarasota it was off to Sun Soaked Coffee Company this morning for our morning coffee. This is a great, little food truck parked in a lot putting out some really good coffee product. I went for a hot coffee with cream and the coffee was piping hot and was packed with flavor. A really nice roast and something you wouldn't get sick of having each and every day. My wife went for the iced sugar cookie latte made with oat milk and loved every sip of it. IT also had a cold foam atop the latte complete with sprinkles and definitely was a social media worthy drink but also was beyond tasty. I read some reviews about how good the donuts are and people were not lying. A glazed donut that was warm and had a light crisp on the outside but were pillowy soft on the inside were the kind of donuts that if I lived in the area would certainly be something I would downplay the amount of times per week I would get them for fear of people judging me. We just stopped here and.... MAN! My wife always finds the best coffee spots but she outdid herself with this one. We both got churro lattes (which was recommended by the barista), 3 donuts and our little one got a raspberry milk. We got about 3 miles away and my wife wanted to turn around for more donuts (not gonna lie, me too)! We are foodies and the donuts alone goes in our top 3 and we're thinking it's #1. Unfortunately, the customer service at Sunsoaked has become consistently unpleasant enough that I will no longer be spending money there or recommending it to anyone. My order was made incorrectly multiple times, and instead of basic professionalism or accountability, I was met with eye rolling, attitude, and visible annoyance for simply trying to correct it. What stood out the most was not even the mistake itself, but the energy behind the interaction. It felt like frustration and irritability were being projected directly onto customers instead of handled internally. I understand working in a small truck environment may be stressful, but customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience for politely addressing an incorrect order. The overall experience felt unnecessarily uncomfortable and emotionally charged over something that should have been simple customer service. There are too many businesses with staff who know how to interact with people respectfully for me to continue supporting this one. read more

This is my wife's and my favorite coffee in the Sarasota area. We always get a couple of bags of beans to bring home with us when we visit.

Sun Soaked Coffee really is a hidden gem- I hope sharing my love of them helps make them a little less hidden. The first time we went - we counted on the Waze ap- and we realized its so easy to find - after the first time- and its super easy to get in and out of the parking lot. So many drinks sound so yummy but I have to admit I have not made it past the Iced Churro Latte - Its so perfectly balanced and delicious! My husband has been hooked on the Fall Cold brew (See menu in pic). Everyone is very nice and everything is super clean. We have been frequent visitors since finding it as its much much closer than some of our other fav that are a bit of a trip. We are right over in Winward in LR so its just about a 10 min trip. If you have not tried them yet- def give it a try- they have so many things on the drink menu - literally something for everyone!! read more

My husband and I were in town for the weekend and I wanted to stop at a local coffee shop before our drive back. I found this one on the maps and we are so happy I did. I ordered the cold brew, which I normally don't, and it was probably the best thing I have had to date. And the donuts? They were fresh and warm and melted in our mouths when we took a bite. The employees were very nice and overall we had a great experience. We both agreed we would make the 7 hour drive again just to come back here again! read more
