I always use McDonald's App to order food from this location. Food is hot, service has gotten better (Cashiers and staff are friendly). Hi, I came in today to this location and I wanted to share my experience. The girl with the green hair really needs to improve her attitude toward customers. I was charged extra and also received the wrong drink, even that I had to repeat my order twice. On top of that, the interaction felt unprofessional because of her behavior. The staff here are pretty awesome. There is one manager or assistant manager who's a man and wears different uniforms than the rest. I'm not sure who exactly but he helps around the kitchen and hes always kind and has always been one of the more enthusiastic workers. Food is always fresh, compared to the touhy location the food here is always perfectlt salted and fresh. Their hash browns in the morning best every other McDonald's I've ever been to. Drive through is usually busy but what can they do about it ‍. Only thing that's stopping this from being a five star is that inside, it's usually fairly dirty. The tables have clear stains, trash are often on the floor, and it just isn't well cleaned. I'm a clean freak and these aren't little things, it's like an obvious mark on the table that someone was previously sitting there and it's hard not noticing it aswell as finding a table that's clean. I did have one bad experience last year where there was a guy who seemed to be in his 30s. He wore a big colorful hoodie, maybe a gaming one or something which was highly unprofessional and I heard him yelling at the other employees. Like shouting. It was very clear to the whole restaurant. Another flaw? Often times there isn't someone at the ordering station (not sure what its called but it's not the kiosk). You typically have to wait there and after a minute to five they notice you and someone takes your order. If there's a line then it's much more oblivious to them and it's faster. Want a ketchup or need napkins? Have fun standing there and waiting for someone to notice you because they think you're waiting for an order which isn't their fault. Overall this McDonald's is really solid, and again, their food is very fresh and just incredible compared to others. Those bad instances were fairly rare but the wait time and uncleanliness is fairly often. Drive through? Not an issue, your food will be perfect. read more

Literally everything . Never seen a more discombobulated operation from the kiosk to the workers to the parking. Placed order on slow kiosk. Tool Table number. 20 min later no one knows order or can even effectively communicate. Holy shhhhhhhhhhhh shut it down. I'd invite corp quality assurance to visit. read more

I've been coming to this McDonald's for years. I have never had a problem with my order. I usually go to the drive-through, so I can't really speak to the interior. My only issue with this McDonald's is the way the parking lot is set up because it creates more traffic for the drive-through! read more

I honestly always go here & it's pretty chill for the most part. The staff here are pretty laidback & each time I come by some of them always find a way to crack me up with their jokes or friendly banter. When it comes to the food its as to be expected, and I don't mind that at all. Food remains good regardless, and each experience for me has been positive. My experience with the restaurant, staff, food and cleanliness were all just fine. HOWEVER there was a very troubled man that walked right up and circled myself (pregnant w twins) and my 6 & 3 year old in the parking lot when we parked and followed us in, he proceeded to get coffee cup from trash once inside and ask for refill they didn't ask for proof of purchase and just filled it up he proceeded to circle exterior of building and interior and closely around each table in a very menacing, calculated and threatening way. Even when outside the building he would stare in through glass at our table and food and just stare and stare then come in thru back door ask for more coffee and circle building asking for money. And, hey, I'm allllll about helping the homeless as I have been myself homeless due to mental illness three times but this guy was a downright threat to me and my kids. I woulda bought him food if he woulda given us a bit of space and not creeped so hard. Anyways the restaurant did NOTHING to stop this guy and we were there for well over half and hour and he persisted in his walking about and creeping everyone out esp the kids for the duration. When I went to leave I asked this lovely older table of three that had religious pamphlets out and asked for help in watching me through glass as I loaded up kids, food and stuff in car and buckled them in on both sides which takes 5 m. The woman said 'of course honeychild' and the two men were standing at attention and escorted me to car and stood attention looking towards the guy the whole time while talking to me calmly. I could cry still from gratitude. I want to say an epic THANK YOU to those well dressed older gentleman I don't know what religion yall were studying yesterday around 12:45/1pm but I can dig it because yall were my hero's yesterday. To the management team, I have worked as a waitress from 15-35 yrs old and worked in many fast food (sonic) and then moved on to medium and big time fancy restaurants and I gotta say 'shame on yall you HAD TO SEE THIS GUY and chose to do jack shit nothing to protect your cutomers from an obvious public nuisance that had scolding hot coffee and was hovering over and around everyone's tables and was moving about the restaurant inside and outside so weirdly. He was definitely of note. How yall missed him or chose not to help. Was really not cool' 0/10 ranking to the lunch manager yesterday. I simply ordered 3 cheeseburgers and fries from Uber eats and what I received literally ruined my night. When I opened my bag of food the first thing I see is a 6 pack of chicken nuggets and my blood started to boil. Then I see a chicken sandwich and I'm thinking there's no way this is happening. This McDonald's, unlike every other one, holds a special place in my heart. My grandfather used to walk me to this location everyday when I was a kid. He would always get me a kids meal and let me get as much food as I wanted. He would let me run loose in the play place they had years ago and it was always an enjoyable time. I've been coming here ever since and I've never had one single bad experience in the 10+ years I've been coming here. Food is as you expect at McDonald's and I've never had my order come back wrong. Sure, parking is a bit scarce, but they have two drive thru's and they always get the orders out fast. I hope to one day walk my own child or even grandchildren down here and build happy memories for them that they can always look to when times are tough. read more

By far the most superior McDonald's experience this side of the Mississippi. I came here 5 days a week for 3 years. The staff has been warm and friendly through many turnovers. This is credited to The MAN, The MYTH, The LEGEND LEON. As someone in the customer service industry, I was consistently blown away by this man. He seems genuinely happy to be there and the vibe radiated across the entire location. I have since moved, and am going to a new McDonald's. Sometimes... you don't know what you have until it's gone. HORRIBLE SERVICE. RUDE EMPLOYEES. I've never been treated so disrespectfully...at a MCDONALDS. The lady gave me a half melted sundae, and a Strawberry Lemonade that was melted and a little more than half full. I asked the lady why she was giving me half of a medium Strawberry Lemonade, and all she did was shrug. The atmosphere was chaotic, people were all over the place, management wasn't doing anything to keep the noisy obnoxious people calm. Moreover, the staff looked incompetent. Someone i believed to be a manager was scolding one of the employees for being on his phone...in front of everybody. I left the horrid place outraged and quickly called corporate to file a complaint. On the phone waiting, I decided to munch on my fries, and I very quickly found out they were STALE. This isn't the first time I had issues with this Mcdonalds. The past two times I went, they messed up my order. Twice. And the first time, it took them three tries to get my order right. The owner of the location decided to call a couple days later to apologize. She told me she'd call back in a couple of days, but never did. read more

All coffee sizes are the same price so I could have ordered a larger size. Or a specific breakfast sandwich is on sale. Although the corona virus thing is going on the manager and staff dont care about the bussiness because i called for an order as it states it in yelp, and in google , says call now, the number from the mcdonalds on depster in skokie keeps hanging up on me, and i called in several phones from work, keep hanging up on me, they show they do delivery and the truethe is they dont. Its a run around, i went on break and even on the drive threw window theyre rude... the manager should take this seriously because we bring the bussiness to them, and it sucks i cant go anymore befor i get to work at 5:30am it makes it hard for some of us....this place sucks for bussiness and customer service read more

I wish I could give less than this. pulled up at 11:45pm to pick up my order from the app and the staff saw me through the window and just closed it. they then refused to respond to any questions saying "we're closed" when they still were not closed. one of the staff who had a black ponytail had a serious attitude and just repeated "we're closed" thru the window with a blank stare as if she want even conscious or present in her body. i pointed out they were still open because it was before midnight and Thoughtless there seemed unable to wrap her head around that statement. I pleaded that I had only just ordered two drinks and I just wanted to grab them and go, it had been an extremely long day. Finally at 12:01 she walked away and hid in the back pretending I wasn't there at all and I just left frustrated. I get staff want to leave early and it's cold but this is ridiculous. If you don't want customers rolling thru so you can leave a little early shut the window lights on, turn the lights off and then menus off. Don't sit there lit up like Vegas like you're still open. And also just say you you closed early. talk to the customer about it instead of letting them sit there in your drive thru freezing THEIR butts off with kids in the backseat. I love McDonald's! This location is pretty much what you would expect. Every single time I come here I am never disappointed. In my opinion I think McDonald's is probably my favorite place to get fast food because it is good food. You actually do get what you pay for and I don't have high expectations. This store has never done anything to ever make me not want to go back. I'm pretty easy to please when it's McDonald's on the table. Good place to eat. Go here if you like waiting a long time at the drive-thru. Instead of using the drive thru parking spaces, this McDonald's insists on making everyone in the drive thru lane wait until the front car gets served. Not a big deal except when it takes them 15 minutes to get the food ready. Then we have a huge line that you can't get out of if you've already ordered. That scenario is the classic time to ask the driver to park in the temporary drive thru spaces so that everyone else with easy orders can get served. read more

This is the closest McDonald's to my home and it is always busy! It is so busy that the place is not the cleanest nor the quickest. Parking spots fill up quickly but it has never been a major issue. I have the app so I like taking advantage of the deals. read more

This place is run horribly. I ordered a strawberry lemonaide, and a chocolate ice cream cone. They were out of chocolate ice cream, so we chose apple slices. When I pulled up to the 2nd drive through window, they asked me to pull into drive through spot #1. After waiting nearly 20 minutes I decided to go in to remind them of my order. It turns out the lemonaide machine was broken! I guess nobody felt it important to update me. Then it took another 10 minutes to get me a refund. Overall, I wasted 30 minutes at a fast food store and left with apple slices and barely an apology. I'm very disappointed. read more

When I went back they gave me hard time and told to wait because they're busy attending to customers in line. The line in the drive through was long and the restaurant was really busy, even inside. Despite the long lines in the drive thru, it seems to move fast, which is really nice, so I would not have to wait long for my turn and, of course, for the food. When I was ordering, I noticed that the staff were not friendly. She is somehow nice, I think, and she is also not rude, and as long as she is not rude, it is good for me. I only ordered a few things, which consisted of their quarter pounder, ten pieces of chicken McNuggets, and a drink. Getting the food is also super quick. The food was hot. The quarter pounder was perfect. It tastes amazing and is definitely fulfilling. I like how juicy and cheesy the burger is. I also like its portion because the portion of the quarter pounder is perfect for me, who loves burgers. The chicken nuggets were also fresh and hot. It is crispy and juicy as well. However, the dipping sauce given to me was only one. Like I said, I got ten pieces of chicken McNuggets and the dipping sauce was only one, which is definitely not enough. Anyway, the chicken McNuggets still taste good, but they could be even better if they had the sauce on them. read more

Recommend? I don't know if I should laugh or cry for the owner of this franchise, that is don't know if it's a franchise or a corporate owned "restaurant". Today is Sunday the 21st of May 2023 returning home from downtown Chicago, decided to stop by at this McDonald's to see if I could get a Big Mac for dinner. I haven't had a big Mack for at least 4-5 years and I felt like having one. It was exactly 5:00 pm and the place was practically empty with the exception of two people in line. One of them was complaining for a wrong order of a drink by rolling her eyes with dissatisfaction, and the other elderly couple (Chinese) trying to make sense of their order. Other than that, the place had this deserted feel to it, somewhat dirty looking, uncleaned tables and dirty floors with copies of order receipt all over the floor at the front area, and, of course, no one to be seen behind the counter to take orders. After waiting 10 minutes, a young man (African American) showed up in a flash, dropped a cup of coke on the counter and disappeared. Apparently that was new replacement for the previous wrong order. The woman tasted the drink and said "it still not right". Kept saying "I ordered a Diet Coke and I keep getting a regular one". And we kept waiting and waiting for someone to show up. Suddenly, behind the counter, a young Hispanic girl shows up, with heavy makeup asking if she could help someone. She takes my order and disappears. We are back at the waiting game and after 10 minutes I see this very same girl and the African American boy chasing each other giggling and running from the back kitchen area to the front towards the washroom and back, while we are still waiting for our orders. Finally the boy showed up very briefly dropped my order on the counter called my order number and disappeared again. I proceeded to pick up the order and realized drink was missing and no fries that I had ordered. Now, I was really tired and frustrated with all this drama, couldn't wait anymore and took whatever was there and left. Never go there again and never ever Recommend it to my neighbors or family members. One of the worst experiences ever! read more

I really wish 0 stars was an option. I live right down the block from this place. Every single time I come here, there is an issue with my order. I get the same exact order every time. No customisations, no substitutes, simple order. One time they forgot half the order, the next time gave me the wrong order completely, and the next needed to ring up my order 5 times. On a few occasions the "credit machine and receipts were not printing". I have worked in fast food before and I know that scam. No order means you pocket the money. I could care less, just don't mess up my order. Today, I ordered my order and added one extra sandwich. When I got my bag, it looked like everything was literally thrown in there. Nothing was wrapped. After the complaint, they gave an excuse that the drive through was super busy. (I WAS THE FIRST ONE IN THE LINE. THE FIRST ORDER!) while this was going on, the employees in the back were having a loud argument on not wanting to do their job in front of the whole restaurant. Everybody could hear it. I looked if everything was in the bad and left because I didn't want to take up any more of my time. I came home and they messed up the order again. This is not on one shift, or on a certain day. It is all three shifts on 7 days a week. I seriously think that the second coming of Christ will come before they get my order right. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever experienced. What are the odds of getting an order wrong EVERY time? Simple. Sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. It's the only breakfast sandwich I order. But EVERY time I get it home, it's wrong. One time there was no cheese. So I added my own. Next time it was bacon instead. So I just ate it. But then they gave me a sausage egg and cheese on a McGriddle. Not a fan. So I went back. Today I decided to give them another chance. Right on the receipt says the correct thing. But I got bacon instead. I brought it back and asked for the correction I mentioned how often this happens They seemed to have forgotten about me as I waited a long time I finally got the replacement. But geez. I like the Morton Grove one WAY better but this one is very close to my house. Too bad. read more

If I visited McDonald's on a regular bases I would perhaps give a higher rating, but since I only got a dipped ice cream and it wasn't too tasty - at least, not what I expected; I can only offer three stars. I was in the drive-through and thought it would take a few minutes - wrong. I guess I should have gone in. The service was pleasant, respectful, professional, )the young man apologized for the wait), but the ice cream was poor. It was hot and I thought it would be a nice treat after working inside without air conditioning in my classroom. I remembered soft serve from when I was a tiny tike, (I know I'm still tiny - haven't grown too much); but what a disappointment - so much for memories.
