I came in after work to order something quick for dinner. I walked inside to order inside of the drive thru because the line was very long. Due to that reason, all the staff was focused on getting orders out that was, but not to the walk in orders. I was there for around 5-10 minutes before a staff that was leaving after their shift notice me. He then got notified a manager? to assist me. She was quick and efficient! I ordered the Big Mac combo meal which comes 1 Big Mac, medium fries, and medium drink. McDonald's has literally the best fries out of all the fast food restaurants I have tried because they are salted perfectly, are thinly sliced, and crispy! I come here just to order their fries sometimes. The burger tasted like a burger. Nothing too fancy, but it tasted good and what you would expect of a regular burger. I ordered another combo meal, but do not remember the exact burger. It was good nonetheless. While I was waiting for my order, I sat at one of the tables and noticed a lot of the tables were not clean and had crumbles everywhere. They seem to be very short staffed since they do not even have time to clean the tables or check the counter if customers are coming in. Otherwise, they got me my order within 10 minutes of ordering. They have self-ordering available, but I had coupons so that did not work without a code. Cleanliness and the wait was not the best, but I understand they were focusing their attention where the line was and they seemed very busy in the back. They have a drive through but they usually ask you to pull around and park. That and increased prices for everything mean you aren't getting fast service and the food is the usual mediocre McDonald that their CEO can't even eat. read more

Wow some things never change. Out of laziness to drive another half mile to Wendy's I tried this place again. As usual, screwed up my drive through order. I wasn't dressed to go inside but I didn't care. Had to wait for them to remake my burgers AGAIN! Got home and 1 party was almost raw in both of my qp burgers. Went to the drive-thru at 11:20 but was told they closed at 11. I don't know where the miscommunication went but online it says they close at 1 AM that's a pretty big time jump to me. The food is okay, but it's not my favorite. It's a good place to go if you're in a hurry and need something cheap to eat. Wow. Update. 7/14/19. You can now totally tell if someone else took over, the last four times we've been there for breakfast sandwiches or lunch, which is not usually my favorite place, but the management is in credible they are whipping out customers left and right and I can say I'm going to update my review. Thanks to ever took over this restaurant you were amazing. You were not there today when I went to the drive-through, but whoever is managing the place kicked some royal butt. Its been a few years since weve been to a McDonalds and figured we would give it try now that we have a 2.5 year old. Well I will say it was a mistake, our visit was approximately 3 weeks ago and the food and the meal was disgusting. The service was actually worse than the food. The Happy Meal should be called a depression meal. The window employee rolled thier eyes when i asked for ketchup. This was a Sunday and it appeared there was maybe 3 workers and all looked miserable. This is the worst mcdonalds location in Reno/Sparks! They screwed up my order tonight by not including a big Mac and the medium fry was half filled. This is after I had to wait forever for my order, while being the only car in line when I pulled up and ordered. I tried calling the location to let them know they forgot the burger and to see if I can get another one but they don't answer the phone! It's 5:00 pm and the call is routed to a general number for McDonald's corporation saying it's "after hours" What a joke! One regular and one with meat, cheese and bun only. Ended up with a Big Mac with meat and bun, no cheese. Ordered a cheeseburger, ketchup only. Ended up with a cheeseburger with, get this, no cheese and ketchup, pickle and mustard. Unbelievable!!! Fries sucked!! Nothing correct except the fraps. And I don't know how long they have been putting only one slice of cheese on a Big Mac. 2 patties should have 2 slices of cheese. Keep up the good work!! read more

I went over to get a cone and a hot fudge sundae after dinner today only to be told they had removed their ice cream machine this morning. So we ordered apple pies. We were told they would be ready in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later we got them. The staff had a crap excuse as usual. Avoid this one at all costs. It's a total rip off place. Yes this is McDonald's but I declare the nicest, kindest and sweetest people work here. The service is quick and efficient. I almost always use the drive thru. Everyone from the manager down are amazing. Today was no different. The food is not exceptional but the service is! So I am giving them 4 stars on CUSTOMER SERVICE!! When placing an order you will hear the friendliest voices filled with joy on the other side of the intercom. If you have to go to a McDonald's this is the one to stop in at. I go here all the time for my coffee because it's so much cheaper than Starbucks and I've never had a problem until today. A kid at the counter literally gave me a medium coffee and tried to tell me it was a large coffee I showed him on the cup where it says medium and he proceeded to say that it is a large cup that it is the biggest cup they have. I think management needs to retrain this kid. I also asked him to heat up an apple fritter that I was also purchasing and she proceeded to tell me that they don't do that. I'm not 100% sure what's going on in this establishment today but they are off their game that's for sure. So I paid for a large coffee And got a medium one which is a difference in price because it's the iced coffee and a cold apple fritter. Definitely choosing a different location next time. read more

The only good thing about this location is the ice cream. First off we waited 20min for our food! We got the Artisan grilled chicken sandwich and it was soggy and tasted disgusting, the chicken was rubber and the lettuce was wilted. There is always something wrong with my order when I come to this specific location. You can order a Large fry but they only fill it half way, the workers are rude, they curse, they don't want to be there. They make you feel like you're bugging them and that everything is an inconvenience to them. I've honestly never seen anyone of them in a good mood or smile. Even the managers are just as bad, probably why the employees have the attitude, cause no one is teaching them what customer service it. No one wants to help the customers or the store, ever. I can see why this location has such bad reviews. I came here at 11:25 am and the girl at the drive thru to take my order said "give me the deets" to start my order. Wth? Nice intro for friends, not your customers that are over 16 years old. I ordered the quarter pounder deluxe meal, and after putting in the incorrect item in I pointed this, and out came this large audible sigh of displeasure from her because it required 15 extra seconds of work. I get to the window, and she reviews my order then takes my card, still with a hostile tone. I didn't hear the card machine beep to take my card back, so instead of saying anything she starts shaking the machine at me. I took my card, said thank you, but instead of saying anything she slammed the window. I cannot believe the unprofessional attitude of this girl, especially when her job doesn't require more than pushing buttons. I would not recommend going to this location if this is the quality of their workers. As for her, if she doesn't value her job in a pandemic economy, give her das boot and go into your filing cabinet and select another of the thousands of people who are dying for work.
