We've been to many other Indian Buffets before and I know my guys really love Tandoori Chicken and naan. So I went in to check it out and holy moly, this was the most dinky Indian buffet I ever saw! The steam table was like 1/3 the size of most buffets I've been to, but if they have what we like, it might still work out, cause there's a lot on an Indian buffet I just don't eat ... OK, some of the things in those tubs are just a little too weird for me. Some of the tubs weren't even filled yet. But the deal breaker here was there was NO Tandoori Chicken! I never heard of an Indian Buffet that didn't have the most common dish, Tandoori Chicken! I asked and they said no Tandoori Chicken! There's no way I can take my crew here, we'll have to find some other place to eat. I had high hopes, but this Indian place ain't gonna work out for us especially at $25 per person including tax and a little tip, this buffet isn't worth that. I walk in with intent, sit at the bar, order my drink...right after I took my first sip, I looked up and saw the "Cash Only" neon sign and realized I didn't have any on me. The waitress (I wish I had caught her name) was incredibly kind. I explained the situation and told her I'd go grab cash, and she was totally understanding. I came back and made sure to tip her well, she deserved it. I asked if they served food, and while they don't, she went out of her way to recommend a Korean spot next door and Red Dog Saloon for pizza. She even said it was perfectly fine to bring food back. So I did exactly that, grabbed some Korean chicken, brought it back, and paired it with a hot apple cider cocktail. Perfect night. It's quirky AF, but isn't that EXACTLY what you want? When you arrive, be sure to glance just past the bar and see the sign for "Lizard Xing" and look for the attack lizards inside. If you peek outside in the backyard you may see a casket. Not sure what it's for, and maybe don't ask, but certainly check it out and look around for other fun! Lastly, make sure you look above the last chair of the bar, next to the patio door. They call it the "Asshole Corner" and it was super fun to sit a friend down their and snap a pic without them knowing! Myself and a friend, with 4 more behind us, walked in, and were promptly told they were closed. Odd, since Yelp, Google, and the hours posted on their door indicated they were open until 4am. Over the weekend, another friend and I came in and had a great time with a large group of, who I assumed were, locals, singing karaoke and drinking the night away. The following Monday, I attempted again, to visit the bar. This time at approximately 9:45pm. I was greeted by 2 people telling me the bar the bar was closed. Again, I had at least 3 other people planning to join me but, apparently, posted business hours and eager customers aren't important to this establishment.
