Back to the decor for a moment. Just going full Wednesday Addams and painting everything black when you take over a location feels like a lack of effort on the part of the owner/franchisee. At least paint some of the red lightning bolts from your logo on the wall, or even a great big K. It would only cost like $50 for some real personality.
