Both were delicious treats. The service was excellent and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of free parking in the lot and the interior is very homey. I follow them on Instagram and found out that Alex the manager had Dahlia tubers he was willing to share. I enjoyed talking with him about how he learned to grow them from his father. He was so generous and kind with advice. A good soul for the St Charles Community. They also have a location in Roselle I found out. Support this local coffee shop if you are in the area. Breakfast options include quiche and yogurt parfaits. It's about $6 for a sandwich. Has a few at lunch but most are meaty like the Ham And Cheese. One vegetarian option is the Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwich. A pretty standard one to be honest. There's also things like salads at lunch. For sure it's a popular place at breakfast. Chicken and rice. I didn't think to order my toddler one because he can be fairly picky and I didn't want to waste it. Bad idea on my end apparently because I only got two bites -- while my toddler devoured the rest. I ordered a quart of the soup to go. SO glad that is an option! Good product, good baristas, some innovative twists (think ube white chocolate mocha as one of the current specials), this place would perform well up and down the I-5 corridor. They are LGBTQ+ friendly. That's not necessarily common in this area, so kudos to them. Again, a good fit along much of the I-5 corridor. But, of course, I can't take them back home.
