Back home I never, and I mean NEVER, eat Mickey D's food, but this particular location is open 24 hours and is located just on the Southern edge of the Grapevine which made it a perfect food stop after 1:00 AM on a Sunday night/Monday morning with another hour and a half North on the road to drive before I made it home. The burgers were piping hot and filled that yearning in my gut which told me it had been over six hours since I'd last had a meal. Rave to THIS location!!! Order # 376 for here around 745... #3 combo Took quite a while to get it, however there was a ton of people inside and in the drive threw. That being said, fries were hot and fresh, quarter pounder was almost cold, luke warmish.. an my fault for not asking for light mayo when it came with none. I told the very nice and professional manager, not sure her name but she was short and this was 11.21.17 around 7:45PM, and with a smile on her face, an not a fake plastered one for once, she said they would just make me a new one no problem. Drove by with the family and decided to stop by and get something real quick. We ordered some Big Macs and nuggets. It was a bit of a wait and we were kinda sad a bit while waiting.. when I received my order I noticed there was a pie that I didn't order. So I did the right thing to go and ask the guy that had gave me my order. I told him I had receive a pie I didn't order and didn't pay for it. He said he threw it in there because of the wait. They refuse to take your order, dragging you through the automated machine and acting impatient about it the whole time. Poorly executed effort to be high tech, just makes everything take longer in a location here efficiency should clearly be the priority (the side of I-5). Horrible drive-through!!! I waited over 20 minutes for my food at 7:30pm Sunday night !!! Lines were crazy long and food was taking forever. You're by the freeway, expect it to be busy and have more workers working! They will lose a lot of business at this location... If there is a million locations, you want your location to be the best, to get returning customers... This location was horrible. I got no sleep...I am stressed out....and I was hoping McDonald's would save my morning...WRONG!!! Ok, I think writing McDonald's review is blasphemous to Yelp, but I am going to write anyways. I stopped by around 7:35am and used the dual drive-thru. I haven not eaten at McDonald's for breakfast since my intern days....NO...not earlier this year...my intern days awhile back. I took the right lane and I ordered Two Sausage Egg McMuffins (2 for $3.50). Ok...Cool...they still have the promotion after many years. I drove up to the window and gave the guy my credit card. He swiped my card many times and failed to process my order. I asked him, "Having problems with the authorization?" He said, "Yeah, do you have cash instead?" That moment freaked me out. I started wondering...How could a small transaction cause my card to be blocked...UGH. So, I paid with cash. My total was $3.84. It should have been free for my discomfort. I think I am going to write McDonald's Corporate of my problem. I hope they can train their employees to use the credit card machine. Apparently, the lady driving the truck behind me had problems too. Geez.... McDonald's you need to train your employees how to use the card system or I will completely avoid this location. Not really much of a fan of McDonald's anymore. The only thing I like from there menu are the filet o fish sandwich, the McRib (whenever it goes back on season), and of course their oh soooo golden delicious fries. Now as far as this McDonald's go, it's very clean and modern since they just finished remodeling it a few years ago. Where there was only one drive thru lane, they turned it into two which merges back onto one again when you get to the teller window. This McDonald's wowed. The employees are very polite and professional. They give at least restaurant level service. Numbers are displayed on a screen when ready for take out. Meals are delivered on a tray by employees for eat in. Though this location is busy, maybe because it's off the freeway, the line moves quickly. The inside is clean. Bathrooms were not dirty. I've came here a total of two times because I was on my way to SIX FLAGSSS! Since coming from LA, I could NOT believe how expensive this McD's is!! The prices were a dollar-3$ more. So no, I can't complain about any specific menu items. However, the service could do with some refreshing. Used their drive-thru while heading to Santa Barbara and even after asking two large coffees, one with three creams and the other with two creams and no sugar on both the employee was still not understanding our order. My Grandfather was recently suffering from radiation poisoning (he had recently taken a trip to Chernobyl), and he had requested for me to get him one Big Mac and a large drink (sprite). 5 of us ate lunch there today.... where do i begin! They just could not get anything correct, they shorted a burger, couldn't count the chicken nuggets, shorted the happy meal apples. No one was cleaning tables, trash was overflowing, and there was not a napkin in sight. The happy meals are now half the size, adult meal burgers have shrunk by approximately 30%. I will avoid this location for sure. But, I am more likely to find a better option than Mc Donald's altogether! read more

walked in with a family of 6, ordered on the kiosks, and went to a table. wait time was significantly longer than usual, and when they did bring our food to us, they did not check to make sure it was all there. (in fact, he didnt even acknowledge we were there) we ended up missing several drinks, cookies, and meals, including sauces and napkins. this seemed to be a problem for not only my family, but for other parties around us. went up to the front counter to ask for these things, and several people walked past me without even asking if i needed anything. i waited about 10 minutes before even being looked at. bathrooms were closed for maintenance the whole time i was in the restaurant. air conditioning worked well, it was very cool. read more

This place has really gone down after the remodel and new kiosks. Although I don't have high expectations for McDonalds, I was extremely disappointed. I bring my youngest two boys here about twice a month and have never had an issue. The cashier that always took our order was very pleasant and never got my order wrong. (I think he may have been the manager). This morning was a total cluster. The lobby was full of customers who were waiting and needed help using the kiosk and no one was there to help them or lead them in the right direction. There was no one at the cash registers. I waited by the cash register for a few minutes and asked if I can place my order there. A lady took my order and completely messed it up. We ordered 3 bacon egg and cheese McGriddles with bacon on the side for dining in. (Pretty simple right)? Well they gave me 3 McGriddles with just sausage. I took them up to the counter and told them they gave me the wrong order and I didn't order sausage. They took them back, and took out the sausage and gave me JUST THE BREAD! By this time I was pretty annoyed. I took them back and explained my order again. The manager or whoever she was gave me a total attitude and started to argue with me!!! Normally I would've walked out but my kids were hungry. I did end up finally getting my correct order after the 3rd time. The attitude I got was totally not worth it. So disappointed. read more

Upon sitting down after ordering, my 10-year old daughter remarked, "This is the nicest McDonald I've ever been to!" That's pretty high praise, for she is one of the Golden Arches cognoscenti. She was tempted to try out the kids play area, but my tight time schedule prevented. Maybe next time, kid. What made it so nice? The decor definitely helped. It looked so... so early 3rd millenium. Lots of light wood verneer, light blue glass tiles, and brushed metal combined to show that this location is new or newly remodeled. The food wasn't a surprise, but McDonalds is all about keeping everything the same at every location. For the weary traveler it is a great place to stop and enjoy the ubiquitous. Good. It's like any other McDonald's. I like the employees and they almost always get my order right. The dual-lane drive through could be a problem if people don't merge properly or try to snake a spot, though I've never had a problem with it personally. Sometimes people pick one lane and then block the other when it's open, which is puzzling. Overally, pretty good. Easy to get in and out so that's a plus and the dual-lane drive-through does prevent traffic from piling on to the street or parking lot. read more

So by far this is my worst McDonald's experience ever. They have a double drive through but only one person taking the orders... I think that tells you everything. And then when I got to the window to pay, she had my order wrong and then had to make it over all while I wait. Burger Quest log 0001001V "Lovin' it?" Not so much. Yes people. This is the big one. This is the Big Mac we're talking about. And actually this was my first Big Mac ever. Yep. Strictly a McNuggets girl my whole life. I guess I was expecting this burger to be totally gross. Completely greasy and disgusting, but it was far from it. It was ok, even good by some standards. The thing is, it definitely tastes processed. It tastes cheap, but it actually IS cheap, so can I be all that hard on Micky Dee's? The boy has often said that McDonald's food tastes "sugary" and I think, in a word, he's right. Everything tastes sweeter than it should -- from the fries to the burgers. The meat is not really so much meat, as it is a patty of something like meat. It's unusually thin too, so even on this double-decker burger one can hardly get a taste of meatiness. The bun is so shiny and sweetly complementary of the fake patty it's almost bizarre. But even though it's not a great meal and it certainly isn't the best burger in LA, the Big Mac has certainly left it's mark on the entire world, and for that, I feel like I have to give it credit. It is what it claims to be: fattening, cheap, fast food and as long as we know that, c'mon.... is that really so evil? I think not. However, I have no desire to ever have another Big Mac for as long as I live. I think one in this lifetime is enough! The play yard is amazing, but is not shut off like other McD's. Kids can just run out without any warning. Staff is very polite and helpful. All areas are very clean. Two star rating: there is not a changing table in the men's bathroom! Men do change diapers these days. The sink area was soaked with water and had to bring the baby back to my wife for her to change in woman's room. McD's get with the times. read more

Of all the McDonald's I've ever been to, this has probably been my worst experience. We stopped by here as a pit stop on our way to San Diego. Cashier was nice enough, but I ordered something, repeated it, and then she still proceeded to get it wrong. This then led to confusion for the person running the food because we had to put in two orders for the same number. Bathroom was disgusting. Toilet paper everywhere and the floor was wet with God-knows-what. Never been to a McDonald's this bad. I'll go to the In-N-Out next time if I'm ever in this area again. read more
