This McDonald's is always so slow. It doesn't matter if I order two items or ten, they always tell me to park and they'll bring me my food. I find this especially odd tonight as there was absolutely no one behind me. It was a long wait and even worse when it's cold fries. Besides the food being previously warmed over, this location closes their lobby at the strangest of times. Most recently, they closed their lobby at 4:15 for some emergency staff meeting. Unlike many of the reviews, I had a very pleasant experience. Yes, when I arrived I was slightly skeptical due to the outer appearance but all that changed once I entered the establishment. So, even under new ownership, a remodeling and the other changes that have been made; this is STILL the most ghetto Mcdonalds in Atlanta. Some of the employees are actually ok to deal with like Erica and a few others; but a few (like the shorter brown skinned girl with the thicker glasses) just have really bad attitudes and will actually lie and or argue with the customer! The drive thru sucks. My review is based solely on my drive thru experience. I came to a line that had two cars, no one at the intercom and thought i'd be in and out in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later, two cars behind me had already pulled off, sick of waiting. I hung around (but probably shouldn't have) and when I finally got the coffee I was waiting for, (medium, 2 creams, 2 sugars) there was cream, but NO sugar. Seriously? I wait that long and you still don't get it right?? This mickey D's is located on the Kroger foot print at the corner of memorial drive and Hairston road, and has multiple exits. Like others have said, it's pretty ghetto, but in fairness the entire footprint of stores here are too. How hard can be making a chicken sandwich? Well it is a impossible task in this place... i love mcdonalds but i am never going back to this specific one... today i was starving after a long morning of work so i decided to go to this mcdonald and get a bigmac for my wife and and a chicken sandwich deluxe for me... well i got a chicken sandwich with nothing but a dry ass chicken and the bun, the mchicken looks a lot better than what i got. When i got home i opened the bag and saw what they gave me i got so upset that even as hungry as i was i just couldn't eat that. So i went back to get the rights thing. When i arrived a thick African American woman came up and i told her that was not what i wanted so i need it another one. She went back and started putting lettuce and tomatoes on top of the dry sandwich i got before so i told her if she could make it from scratch? 06/26/2019 I went to the McDonald's where I always go for almost a year now. Today I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and sausage Mc muffin and a vanilla ice coffee. First I want to the drive through the lady at the window said that the drive thru is not working at the moment. So I ended going inside just like everyone that was on line did. I got inside and was one of the first ones in there I finished ordering my food and then ended up being the last one to leave because I was served last. So after being in there for almost 20 minutes waiting on my food I said why am I getting served last I have to go to work. I was standing at the counter hoping to let the cashier see that I was getting upset. Then after everyone have been served and at that point she was still dragging her feet to give me my food that I have paid for over 20 mins ago. She finally then threw me my food and then didn't apologized for the wait. Ok where is my coffee she went back and got my coffee that then started to go and get more food again without apologizing. So I left the place mad at myself for going into that place knowing that the food is bad for me anyway. Shit just like everyone that came in there I'm sure was hungry just like me, but got their food without an issue. That was the second incident that I have in there. The second issue was on a Saturday me and my man and daughter came to McDonalds for breakfast at the drive thru. A man that worked there was in front of the window sweeping up so at the time I wasn't the one driving so my man stopped a good distance where the employee was sweeping up. Out of no where the other car that was on line in back of us started to sound the horn at us and then the man said move your fucking car. We got so upset that the man was being so obscene or plain just didn't see what was going on in front of us. My man got so upset and started to get out the car too beat the man that was blowing his car horn at us so bad that he didn't even put the car in park and his seat belt was still attached. They had some words and after I got cursed out for suggesting that we should stop off there for breakfast knowing that he don't like eating there he just wanted to make me happy. But bottom line it is a wrap I will never ever go to that McDonalds ever in my whole life I think that reason I even started going there was because it was convenient and I never had an issue there but one of the workers forgetting to give me my food. And the other reason was because there was a lady that worked there and but don't think that she work there anymore just the young bitch that served me today. Anyway she would always brighten up the day for me after coming from there she would always have a upbeat attitude that I have never seen before working at an establishment such as McDonalds. I just left this place and will never go back in the morning. I have never in my life been to a place where theybdont know the pricing that's on their board. I wanted the 2 for $4 in which I was told 1 of the items is no longer available and nothing has replaced it. So I would have to pay $3.19. On the board it states that the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and the bacon egg and cheese middle are 2 for $4 then they have the McChicken biscuit and a hashbrown for $2 also on the board. Allninordered was the bacon egg and cheese biscuit the McChicken and hashbrown a Leg coffee with a shot of caramel and it took them almost 5 mins to get my order right at the window I told the manager that why am being charged $3.19 if there are no other options for me to choose on the 2 for $4 menu and then they don't put in the caramel don't give me a stirrer dont give me the hashbrown and when I ask for a stirrer she catches a attitude with me. I have been a manager for along time even at McDonald's before and this is very sad I ordered a simple order and they couldnt get it right and then catch an attitude my coffee is ice cold it's 8:30 am the coffee should never be cold. I will never go back here again then the sign in front says now hiring. They need to hire a whole new morning staff because the one the have is garbage.
