I stopped by this location as I was headed back to work. The drive through was full, the lobby had five to six customer but everything was handled professionally. There was an older lady upset about how long her food was taking. The manger kindly explained the cook is cooking fresh. The manger let me know it would be a few extra minutes before my food was ready, which was greatly appreciated. As we waited the manager allowed us to try a new drink and wing flavor. Purchased a chicken tender meal via the drive thru at approximately 9:39pm on August 16, 2026. The chicken was hard, the red beans and rice were cold, and the biscuit was a brick. It "appeared" to be obvious that they had cooked the food in bulk earlier to allow for their breakdown and cleanup of the kitchen. I returned the next day (August 17th) with my receipt and the entire order including the soda beverage, giving them the option to replace the order or refund my money. The manager or team lead on duty at the time (Chavonte - "sic") indicated that they would replace the food but not the beverage. I then requested a full refund to which he refused to provide. After a brief back and forth, Chavonte said I could discuss this matter with the police, indicating that he had called them to the restaurant; unsurprisingly, they never came because he never called. I returned to the restaurant today (August 20th) to speak with the GM of the store (Ken) who advised that he had not been made aware of the earlier incident, nevertheless, he stated that they were unable to provide a refund due to some new oracle system they have in place. I certainly plan to take other methods to get my money refunded. Underlying this entire matter is their refusal to ensure customer satisfaction by replacing a mere fountain drink which likely cost them less than .10 cents per cup. For the YN's that worked at the window that night, if you don't want to work in the service industry, then don't! Customer service is at the lowest at this location. After receiving the wrong food, I was patiently waiting for the crew member to acknowledge that I was waving for her attention since I was missing a few items, I was completely dismissed. Even after honking my car horn, I sat for a few minutes to let them know they gave me the wrong food and no silverware or napkins were provided. The attitude that I was giving was unnecessary. The GM (Ken) at this location is the absolute worst human being on the planet. Actually, Ken should limit or eliminate all of his interaction with customers all together, which is a major aspect of this business. He has absolutely no desire to help customers, how to listen, how to show respect to people that he feels aren't worthy of being treated like humans nor does he care! I will be filing a BBB report against him and this location. This was my first time coming to this location ever, and after having such an incredible customer service experience, this situation took a turn for the worst when I went in on Friday 10/10/2025 to have an error rectified. It was a simple mistake. This was such an easy fix that Ken could have taken care of. A no- brainer! But instead, Ken was arrogant, rude and condescending on multiple levels! The worst part is that you cannot steal from people because you are the GM. You must give them what they have paid for. Right is right and wrong is wrong. The bottom line is that even if you are an idiot with a nice title like Ken, you cannot take people's money and not give them what they've paid for. And then add insult to injury and tell them too bad if they don't like it - call 1-800- popeyes and see if they can help. He directed me to a number knowing that I wouldn't get a live person. When I went back to the counter to show him my call log to prove that I had attempted to make the location aware - but they don't answer the phone EVER, he said he didn't want to see it and that he is done talking about it is Part 2 and that he wouldn't talk to me any further about it. That he is doing all that he will do. Who does he does he think he is talking? His wife? I'm a customer that he has never met before. Further, he's a coward! When I didn't know his position, I noticed him just standing there behind the counter waiting for Michael(I hope I have his name right) to return instead of coming to hear information firsthand! I had asked Michael if he is a manager and he replied yes I am. When the coward, Ken, finally came to talk to me, he was upset about the receipt date 10/2. I explained that I'm a sub and don't come to this area but had called numerous times. I tried to show him my phone log - he said he isn't interested. Then he congratulated on being a sub. What? Why? I should have but I didn't congratulate him on working for Popeyes. He also told me he is dealing with a lot of things and none of them have to do with me. Honestly - I only cared about him replacing my order to make it right. The order is $27.30! For under $30.00, I asked him if it would hurt him to fix my order? He said no it wouldn't, but this is all he is willing to do. And that I can decline if I wish but it's my choice. This email would really be too long to continue to tell you all of the foolish things he said and did. However, I would like a call back. This was ridiculous. In a nutshell. I ordered two separate orders of blackened chicken - 1 5 piece with a large red beans and rice and a 3 piece with a small. Both orders were short. I ended up giving my order to my son so his order could be halfway complete. I figured they would just replace it as I requested. The food is inconsistent but the service has been stable. I've never had a negative experience with any employees. The people are nice and seem to be doing their best. The environment is decent, not dirty. I've seen them cleaning tables before. The only questionable thing that I've noticed is seeing someone clean tables, take an order and fix the order without ever washing his hands or using hand sanitizer. I purchase food from the Popeyes, located on Mountain, Industrial Blvd, Stone Mountain, GA, and never had a bad experience with the employees. They are respectful, courteous, helpful, and thorough. My only problem is that the chicken thigh. It appears the thigh is being cut in half and not served in its normal structure/size. This allows the owner to sell a thigh twice (half and half, instead in the format and structure God created the chicken. Example, they cannot reduce the size of a leg or wing because it would be too obvious to customers. I would suggest that the owner of this franchise serve customers with honesty intentions. I had a delivery order. There was a loooong line in drive through that was not moving and the inside was closed. So no way was I going to go through the line when the delivery order could be already ready. I would be wasting 30 mins of my own time to work. So i politely asked the customer at the window if they minded me going up to the window to ask if they have a delivery order. The nice man allowed me to, however, a middle aged man working at a fast-food restaurant at 9pm instead of resting at the comfort of his home, came to the window not even trying to hear what I'm trying to say. He was like "go wait in line little girl like everyone in line, you got to wait", which is completely fair, however, it is a DELIVERY ORDER! So y'all are messing with my money time too. My credit card was swiped for the wrong order then once I realize that they refused to give me my money back. I made two trips back-and-forth and did everything that was asked of me . The manager Antoine even had the nerve to ask me to log onto my checking account and show him my transaction in my checking account!! Every time I go to this location which is about once a week they forget something in my order...and yesterday they forgot half my order and then overcharged me and told me a different price at the window and when I got home it was five dollars more than what they told me at the window. I called to talk to the manager today and she told me I needed to have a receipt but the young people at the window never gave me a receipt, nor did they ever give you napkins. this is like the third time that they failed me and my complete order.
