The young woman working was handling the drive thru window and inside counter; lots of effort and hustle to go back and forth. Not sure she should handle money and then scoop fries, but wow, A+ for effort and with a smile the whole time. Covid or not... this McDonalds is and has been the slowest I have ever been to. They have difficulty with staff constantly, and I know this is a thing at many places, but somehow the other fast food places in the same stretch of road outdo this place day in and day out. Save yourself the trouble... the orders take sometimes 30-45 minutes in the drive through. Non peak hours aren't quick either. I'm sure someone will say be patient because of the pandemic, but when their competitors do it better every day in the same market those statements fall on deaf ears. Well, this may have been a one time incident, but it took 45 minutes from order to getting the food. There were probably 10 employees wandering around, orders were wrong across the spectrum, delayed..... it was just really a massive cluster. Do that being said, I did try one of the international favorites, McExtreme Bacon (Spain). Has lettuce, tomatoes, onion and some special sauce (not US), and a lot of bacon. I'm a truck driver and lately it's been very difficult to find places to park and eat and with lobbies being closed I've been using the McDonald's app. The app was having issues and I wasn't able to purchase food but then Luke came outside and checked out my phone and realized there was an issue with mobile purchasing so he took my card inside and brought my food out to me due to their store being locked up for the night. Thanks again Luke. With all the chaos going on from this pandemic I really didn't expect anyone to come out to me and help me but Luke did. I work the night shift here in Streetsboro. It's a twenty minute drive between the apartment and work. So if I leave for work at 2230 hours, I have ten minutes to run through a drive through for a couple sandwiches and a cup of tea. Tonight (Saturday) I stopped at the Streetsboro McDonald's. The "managers was freaking out bc he had 3 cars in his drive thru and abandoned the counter, where people were 4 folks deep. The food area is such a grease pit they all have to slide around in work boots for grip, and the boots are dirty along with the fact they are not wearing uniform pants. Everyone is on jeans that clearly are dirty and don't fit. The counter was not clean. The floor of the dining area is dirty, along with the tables.
