We love our regular server and Drew the bartender. Whatever is happening tonight, we can't get a menu, we can't get anything except rudely ignored. Luckily Drew at the bar took care of us because table service wasn't happening. We play trivia every week and love to order a bunch of food. We kindly asked the woman server for a menu a few times. We watched everyone else get menus and service. We watched her sing happy birthday and enjoy the birthday party, we played 2 hours of trivia, we watched the woman server get down and boogie, but we are not getting table service when every table is. It's so strange because usually the service is top notch. It's a bummer because none of us had dinner and now we have to go somewhere else. :( I read the past reviews and apparently if they don't recognize you here, they won't serve you at the tables. That explains why the woman wouldn't bring us menus and completely ignored us. She doesn't know who we are because we usually have a younger, male server. Btw 2 more months for the pizza oven. They had a fire a couple months ago and they're still getting back to normal. Ambiance = loud af. You can't hear the person next to you. You can't even hear the trivia DJ and he has a sound system. You can't even understand the trivia DJ because he shoves the microphone so far into his mouth, his words are muffled. By the time you read the screen (since you can't understand him), the timer runs out. 5 stars for Drew 5 stars for the young dude server we usually have 0 stars for the woman serving on Tuesday 1 star for the trivia guy's enunciation 5 stars for location and being a fun place We decided that we are not coming back for trivia. Maybe we will for some drinks with friends. However, we do order several rounds of food and drinks for trivia. It's honestly pathetic and bad business that we were ignored like that. We may miss a week occasionally because life, but whatever. Rude. It's going to break Hollywood's heart that we have to go somewhere else for his belated birthday dinner. If you are a karaoke afficionado (or just a microphone whore like me) and need a fun and inexpensive night out, then hit up Chuggers. First off, the Wednesday night special is a $6 pizza! $6!!! And it was really tasty. The drafts were $3.25 for a tall! How do they stay in business? Our server was super sweet and the stage makes you feel like the star. So pulling up to the restaurant it seems a little sketchy. Don't let the appearance scare you away. The food this place makes it an absolute GEM! This place has one of the best burgers I've ever had. They make everything they can in house and the quality is there. If you love boneless wings or chicken tenders (really the same thing) Chuggers has some of the best I've ever had. The tenders are hand cut and breaded in house no frozen deep fried nuggets here! So many good things on the menu but in addition to this, their bar is another point to talk about. They have a wide array of beers on tap to make everyone happy. Their bartenders are top notch and can handle large volume crowds. Their mixed drinks are generous, something you would expect from a local bar/restaurant. This is my new go to for dinner, drinking, or carry out for a party. I drive a commercial truck and chose this place based on their Google rating and large parking lot. I called ahead from outside of Toledo to see if they have Yuengling on draft, and if indeed, as I read online, that their kitchen was open until 10:00. I was assured of both. Arrived at 9:05 and am told it is fryer foods only. Why? Slow night so lazy cook is wanting to go home and closed the kitchen early!!! Closing early is DEATH to a business! Probably why they were so slow. Also, they were out of Yuengling on draft! D'oh! The Owner as she calls herself is RUDE. I really do not believe she is the owner because no one that owns a business would treat a customer like this. I ordered a Bubbles of which I said Bubbles. I get my drink and after taking one sip I know it is not correct. All I said was hello as she's as the register and apparently I didn't kiss her a$$ or say it like she wanted. She seriously comes over..says next time raise your hand and order your beer the right way...there are 2 Rhiengiest beers I'm like uhhh yeah I said Bubbles. She proceeds to grab my beer..pour it out...doesnt give me the correct beer...and gives my husband the check for just his beer. Unbelievable. I asked for owner..manager..she says she's it. Best boneless chicken wings around. The sweet chili is outstanding, has a little kick and sweet too. Pairs well with the wings. Server was very good, processed our order and brought out food. Thought Chuggers might be a dive bar, but was pleasantly surprised with everything! Thursday at 5:30 the patrons had every high top table filled but two. The waitresses were very attentive. The DJ was working the 70-80s music and a dance ball was sparkling. I asked our "main" waitress if the place was always so busy. She said that Thursday is Wings night, and is busy. Our Groupon provided us with a lot of food, and it was all delicious. The large fried mushrooms are breaded and fried on the spot, the best I've ever had. The potato skins are cut wedges served with sour cream. The house salad was deluxe. The two kinds of pizza were delicious. The crust was not too heavy, and lots of cheese. The toppings so good. Best of all was the outdoor smoking patio. Everyone was happy. Good vibes. Thus Groupon was a winner. We'll be back, hopefully to dance. read more
