I went to McDonald's in Sweet Home I was the only one in the drive thru and the cashier asked me to pull over, I said no, there's nobody in the drive thru but me. The manager came and told me to leave. I said no, she said get out of my drive thru , I said give me my money back, so she slammed the window but not before she called me a bitch. So I turned off my car and waited about 10 minutes she opened the window threw my money at me called me some names and told me to leave as she was calling me some horrible things. This woman is sick and needs mental help! I've never been to this McDonald's and will never go again. I'm blown away that McDonald's would employ anyone who treats their customers this way. I stopped at this Mcdonald's and was so baffled by my experience that I frankly don't know how they're getting any business at all. I got an order that included a Medium drink and I did not receive it. Since I had just got off a long day at work and the workers were rushing me I did not realize I didn't have the drink with me until after I got home. This Mcdonald's was too far to go back and get my drink so I called explaining what happened and hoping for them to follow their policy and get me a free drink. The girl who picked up the phone had the worst attitude and claimed to be the manager. She was condescending and said "Yes if you come back within 24 hours we can get you a free drink" but then told me "No you can't come back and get it at all because theres different people working each shift and we won't know what incident it was" so I told her "You aren't going to do anything about the drink I paid for that I didn't receive?" and she told me no and that is 1. unprofessional, 2. against their policies, 3. overall not ok. read more

I go to mc Donald's on the daily during my work week, tell me why they mess my order up about 3 out of 5 times a week wether it's the sauce or forgetting a topping, I ordered a sandwich than got a different sandwich all together, showed them then I got the right sandwich but no bacon, I order ranch but got honey to go with my fries, I'm a house keeper for the old folks home and McDonalds employees get paid more than me just to mess my shit up, it's not all of them but damn. read more

Some of the worst customer service and professionalism in a work place I have ever seen. I took 15 before I was even approached or greeting in order to use the bathroom. This is one of the worst McDonald's ive ever been to its very convenient being so close to every thing but i have been there so many times with no problems but with in the last 4 months there food has been so sloppy i went there a week ago and they screwed up my order 3 times it was 2 for 5.00 dollars so i got 2 quarters and 2 10 pieces nuggets with extra onions i went through the drive through 3 times because they couldnt get it right no onions then only one quarter not 2 then i had to go park and wait for over 25 minutes then the manager comes out to my car and didnt believe my order and wanted the receipt he said he made it himself come to find out they typed it wrong not me they could at least thrown in a shake or some thing for all the hassle i had to go threw dont ever go there they are pathetic. read more

Love how they have the touch screens. Easy, Fast, and NO LINE. Always get fast service. I must say though for the owner. Why have so many employees? I notice while waiting for my food inside there is usually 2 people who have nothing to do and complaining about it. Why not do what Carl's Jr does. Deliver the food to the table. You already put the touch screens in so why even have a cashier who just stands there. One time a employee tried to show me how to work the touch screen. I'm 35 with a smart phone. I'm not sure why this location is getting all the hate. I probably go here 3 or 4 times a month as it's on the way past where I do a lot of business. I've been there for the lunch and dinner rush as well as late at night when staff is at a minimum and I've never had an issue worth complaining over. My order is usually correct and fresh tasting and served by polite usually smiling employees. Here are a few tips for getting good customer service that may help some of you. First, don't be a jerk! When you get to the front counter or the drive thru, and they greet you maybe start with a smile and a "Hi how are you today?". I have seen some of the rudest people just walk up and ignore the greeting or even interrupt it to start TELLING the person what they want. I've worked customer service and you WILL get better service if you treat them like a human beings instead of a vending machines. And maybe look at how you ask people for what you want. Do you say "Yea, give me a number 1 and a large coke" or do you say "Could I please get a number 1 and a large coke" Sometimes it's all in how you ask that can set the tone for the service you receive. I guess the bottom line is this, if you want great customer service, make yourself their favorite customer! They make your food, you know the stuff that keeps you alive, throw a little respect their way and you might be surprised with the result ;) read more

This sweet home location has a bad consistent habit ..lasting at least the last year ..of getting orders wrong...overly long waits(25 min in drive up ).staff moving like slugs..food overlydone ..lack of napkins. The employees here in the Sweet Home McDonalds seem to be much more caring about the customers satisfaction than other McDonald's I have been to lately. I have not had a negative experience at the Sweet Home McDonald's. I have been to so many throughout the world; the service at Sweet Homes ranks high in comparison. McDonald's is definitely a hit and miss! Their iced coffee and apple pies are always good.

For some reason this McDonalds is incapable of getting an order correct. I would say that about 75% of the time they get orders wrong. The staff is also sub par. The employees refuse to get a manager when asked. I have witnessed them, on several occasions being rude to employees, and if you ask to complain they claim the manager is busy, but claim they will relay your complaint about themselves to him when they get the chance. This is definitely one of the worst McDonalds in all of Oregon, and should be avoided at all costs. read more

Scintillating aromas waft from the grill and into my purring car and I await my order. The sultry night air is aflame with hues of yellow and red lights. I tilt my head towards the drive through window and listen to a cacophony of beeps and chirps emanating from miracle-working machines and the chatter of hardworking employees basking in the prime of their short, yet, magnificent lives. The drive-through window slides open with an almost sexual hiss of rubber on metal and a white bag of nutritious food is nestled on my lap. I ponder putting the bag on the empty seat next to me, but I decide this pouch of piousness and love incarnate is right where it belongs. Before my vehicle surges forward into what surely will be a magical night I open the bag. The paper rasps and I feel every paper fiber under my sensitive fingertips as the bag opens and hits me in the face with every nuance of smell that I have come to love. After my eyeballs are done rolling back into my head I look into the bag. I'm not seeing fries. Where are my fucking French fries?!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh, after everything that I've done for McDonalds and humanity in general can't I at least expect what I ordered. A single tear rolls down my cheek. A tear encompassing my rage. A tear encapsulating this betrayal. But then I remember all of the destitute and starving peoples of the earth. I remember the genocide and oppression of millions across time. The rape and butchering happening right now as I sit in safety in the United States of America.
