This is strictly a drive thru or walk up window, no inside seating here. Food is always hot and fresh, always made to order which make a little longer than your standard drive thru. Could be better but it's ok I like the blizzards and fries that's about it it's always nice to go there for icecream

From my cousin: I am so frustrated! I just got lunch for the kids and I at DQ in Sweet Home. I got home, and we were missing 2 of our ice creams, including a blizzard I paid extra for some extra chocolate. Stuff like this happens, and I totally understand. It's happened before at various fast food places, and usually isn't worth my time to go back and get what was left out, we just make do. Also, I understand things get busy, things get forgotten, and a lot of times it's first time jobs, etc. so, you get what you get with fast food. Well, I had a tantrum-throwing 4 year old who of course does not understand- plus, I paid extra for my blizzard! I needed that chocolate to day, people! So as inconvenient as it was, I drove back down there with my receipt in hand, and the worker said she remembered making my blizzard and handing it to me. Well, considering it was a MALE who handed me the blizzard, she was mistaken. They wouldn't remake my blizzard, would only give me Isaiah's dilly bar. I am not confrontational, but after talking with the male who handed me my ice cream, I asked to speak to the supervisor who was refusing to right the wrong. She also claimed she made the blizzard and handed it to me. I do now know who got this delicious chocolaty blizzard, but it wasn't me! I can not believe I just had to argue with someone over ice cream, it was embarrassing! And, what are they implying, that I am lying to get extra ice cream? I mean, I know I'm a chunky girl, but I can afford to pay for my ice cream, and i told her I wouldn't waste my time leaving my 4 kids at home, to drive all the way down to lie in order to get free ice cream. I told her I go there all the time, and have problems, missed food, mix-ups, etc. all the time, and have never driven back to say anything, I wanted to be refunded for the ice cream if they weren't going to re make it for me. They did remake the ice cream, but now I'm scared to eat it, because it may have extra ingredients, lol! I have worked in customer service, and fast food... and in any place I have ever worked, you would just accept that an accident may have happened, and remake the food, not argue with someone over it. I am totally embarrassed, haha! But man, I wanted my chocolate!! I will not be going back there again.. I think my car is marked and they probably now know me as the lady who lied to get free ice cream? I mean, This is a small town. SO embarrassing! read more

This is a cute little Dairy Queen like I have never seen before. We knew we'd be driving through Sweet Home during our trip and wanted ice cream so we pulled this up on maps. It was a little bit of a bummer at first to realize they didn't have a bathroom, since that was another reason for stopping, but it was cute enough to make up for it and instead I just walked across the street to find a place, so it all worked out. There's absolutely no inside for customers to go in, just a counter to place and retrieve your order, but they do have a couple of tables outside to sit if the weather is nice enough for it. The service was good, the ice cream as expected (it's only DQ so I don't expect too much in the first place, it's not BAD but not the BEST). Overall I thought it was a nice stop since I've never been to a Dairy Queen like this before, or really any fast food place like this before. I'd stop again if I was driving through the area. read more

Horrid!!! Waited 30 min to get a shake half melted, only to wait another five minutes to find to get my food, to find they were low on onion rings. So instead of having me wait they just snuck 3 tiny rings in a small container and put in the bottom of the bag so we wouldn't notice. The MOD absolutely needs to be fired. There is no excuse for how this business is being run. I will be calling in tomorrow morning and also corporate if this terrible visit isn't resolved. Also none of the food was correct when we asked for plain and dry. This location needs to be closed until it can figure out how to run and operate correctly. Disgraceful read more

Good ice cream...Horrible customer service...Just went there and ordered 1 blizzard, 1 milkshake and a sundae. I had to repeat myself 3 times to tell her what blizzard I wanted she kept saying it was Reese's peanut butter cup and I kept saying Heath. We ordered a milkshake and said no whipped cream...We get to the window and she gives us a milkshake with whipped cream and then hands us a Reese's peanut butter cup blizzard. As soon as she tells us it's peanut butter my husband tells her that's not what we ordered. She starts arguing with him and he immediately stopped her like No that's not what we ordered and we don't want it...She doesn't say anything or take back the blizzard he was trying to hand her, just slams the window, so he sets the blizzard on the small counter outside the window. When she comes back she has a heath blizzard. She then tells us since we took it in our car she HAS to let us keep it...my husband tells her no we never took it in our car and we don't want it. He then tells her he wants our receipt, she hands it to him and slams the window shut !!! Won't be coming back...No apology, and I'm not sure why she is allowed to act like that to customers. This is so cool guys! If you want to know what a burger place was like when the earth was flat this is the place. This DQ is so old it only has a walk up window and a drive through. No inside seating at all. It's been a long long time since I've seen one of these baby's. Everybody should put their bell bottom jeans on and go to the walk up window and order a burger. read more

A little disappointed today. Headed to a movie at the Rio and stopped for dinner. We love their onion rings. We got a double cheese burger and a fish sandwich. The onions on the burger were to be grilled but they were raw. We asked for mayo & lettuce on the fish sand. As you can see in the photo there may have been a half teaspoon of mayo and most of the lettuce was yucky. Fish was good and the onion rings were delicious as always. read more

This place messes up our order EVERY time we come in. Fries are always cold, stale, or taste like that had been dunked in the fryer a second time to heat them up. My finance cannot eat mayo, as it makes him sick, so we always ask for no mayo, on anything. It always comes to us with mayo on his burger. Their blizzards are a joke. Their upside down guarantee would get probably everyone a free Blizzard, if they even made it right to begin with. read more
