This McDonald's is SOO much better than every store on Meridian. The speed, accuracy, and customer service are top notch. The inside seating is clean and well kept. Having a child with special needs adds to the difficulty of things and this store is relatively low key with what can overstimulate my son. There is a lot of good to say about this restaurant. The manager does an excellent job working with the staff to give the customer a good experience and has done quite well I might add. As far as the food goes, we really have not had very many issues as they are quick to fix any issues with the food (which has been really rare). Their drive through gets pretty packed but they seem to get a rhythm down and get people moving as fast as they can and still do the job right. This is definitely a better store than most that we go to and the 14 mile trip is well worth it given the price, the employees, and the food! read more

I ordered a #7 (two cheeseburgers) Plain with extra cheese, I told the gal taking my order about the last time I ordered (7/15/24) and how they messed up the order. She assured me it would be right this time, WRONG.. After they handed me my bag I looked at the cheese burger on top in the bag, no extra cheese. Looking for a great first job? This is the place. Managers are super easy and awesome to work with and the majority of the staff are very good at communicating with one another to get food out quick. The girl at the counter was super sweet. We came and in and my kids sat down and I ordered. After ordering. I put my stuff down at a table/ the girl at the counter told me that there was no dine in seating. I didn't see the blocked off area as my kids were able to go in and sit right down. I wish I had taken a picture of the double quarter pounder with cheese burger that I bought at the drive thru this afternoon... Everyone knows that McD's is the place to get a quick meal, whether or not the food is good. This afternoon, my plan was to go, grab a quick bite as I headed home. When I reached in for my burger and opened up the package I was so shocked by the look of it, that I swerved into the meridian (don't worry I quickly regained focus). The burger that was on my passenger seat was glistening, I mean it looked BOMB! I picked it up and looked and saw that the meat wasn't dry looking, the sauces and veggies were evenly spaced and the bun wasn't dry either! I MEAN IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS JUST MADE!!! It's been a hell of a long time since I've ever had a good burger from McDonald's. I tried a bite and my expectations were higher than what I even imagined! From my first bite to the last, the juices from the meat to the crispiness of the onions and pickles ran down my chin. I could go on and on, but honestly I was just a happy camper!! The best burger and service mind you; from any McDonald's I've ever been to and normally, lunch time is the worst time! I'm so pleased with Canyon's McD's! I mean, just 1x get your order right. 3 uber deliveries... 1st, it shows they received the order but all the meals missing fries. 2nd all the drinks were half filled n all wrong, no burger in the buns of the flipping guppy meal. Today around 4:50pm, I ordered some food online using the McDonald's app. It asked me for my parking stall number when I got there to pick it up. I put my stall # in and approximately 3 minutes later a nice, younger African America woman with long braids comes out, calls me by my first name and hands me the correct food and drinks. Ketchup, straws and napkins were in the bag. She thanked me for wearing a mask. She didn't seem stressed out or annoyed. She was the most kind and professional worker I have seen in a while. My experience has been one of the worst. My girlfriend and I stopped by the store located at 17509 Canyon Parkway East in Puyallip Washington. We were in separate cars since we met at a different location and stopped for food before heading home. My girlfriend decided to pay for both of our foods while we were in the drive-thru and proceeded to give the employee her bank card. The employee rang up the first order before the computer terminal went down and needed her bank card again to pay for the second meal once the terminal came back online. After paying for both of our orders, my girlfriend got her order and asked the employee for my order so that I can avoid the drive-thru window altogether. That's when the employee asked my girlfriend if she was trying to steal the food. Now this is the same employee that got my girlfriend's bank card (twice) to pay for the meals to now turn around and accuse her of attempting to steal the food that she paid for. The night manager attempted to apologize and offered to refund her money but we declined. We only wanted what we paid for and not free meals. We asked for the daytime manger's name and number to file a complaint but she refused to provide it by telling us that she was the day and night manager and then saying that the manager was asleep. She only referred us to the info on the receipt. By the time the conversation was over, the food was cold and we were pissed for being accused of being theives, while driving a $70k vehicle mind you. Guess we stole that too. These employees need some re-training at the very least cause it's looking awful like racial bias played a factor. 1 star is 1 to many. read more
