I swear but the majority of the time they are always forgetting something never fails.

They don't always get the orders right with the late crew, HOWEVER the food here is spot on. I am a McDonald's frequenter and can immediately spot when something's not right with the food. This Taylor McDonald's serves out the best quality skimmed on nothing food consistently, no meal prepped burgers they chunk out the window at you and hope you don't check, no soft drinks with skimmed syrup, kudos for yall and the quality of your food out the window, can't comment on the atmosphere inside as I never go in haha. There's some really crappy McDonald's' close by in the area I could speak on, this is not one of them. Cheers read more

The customer service at this location is terrible. When picking up they never get the order correct and are constantly trying to give you someone else's order. Their burgers are cold, the fries are old tasting. Don't use the app at this location because you could be charged and not get the food. On November 3, 2024 at 10:17 I ordered breakfast food but by the time I got through to the window the order was cancelled because they cut off breakfast early and charged my card anyway. Ive been dealing with McDonalds corporate trying to get a reversal of the charge , giving them a receipt and they say they can't help. The store will not and corporate will not. Not only does this McDonald's consistently get your order incorrect, they also act as though it is your fault the order is incorrect. Now apparently they are thieves as well. A snippet of the email I have sent to corporate and the CEO of McDonald's. "On that particular evening, I placed an order through the drive-thru and proceeded to the payment window to settle the bill. Despite my banking mobile app indicating that the charge was approved, the cashier repeatedly claimed that my card was declined. As a result, I found myself charged three times for different amounts, which I did not authorize or understand. The unauthorized charges were as follows: $43.87, $38.76, and $5.11. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I had to pay in cash, an additional $43.87 for my meal. I asked to speak with the manager on duty, who assured me that the erroneous charges would fall off within 20 minutes. Regrettably, that did not happen. The following day, when I contacted the location, a female manager dismissed my concerns and stated that it was not her responsibility, advising me to take it up with my bank. Since then, I have tried to resolve this issue on multiple occasions, but I have been met with unhelpful responses, hung up on, and pushed away. Despite escalating the case numerous times, no one has reached out to me to address the matter. As someone supporting a family, the total amount of $87.74, along with the $43.87 I paid in cash for my meal, is a substantial sum that I cannot afford to lose. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of response from McDonald's, especially when I reached out for assistance through your website and social media channels. I want to believe that McDonald's is committed to providing excellent customer service and maintaining transparency with its patrons. However, the continued lack of communication leads me to suspect otherwise. I must express my concern that this situation seems to be more than a mere oversight, and it borders on deceptive business practices and theft." Very grateful they were open with everyone else closed due to power loss. The filet was perfect. Fries had no salt and seemed on the verge of being old. The "sweet" tea was like some yankee unsweet tea with sugar in it. I always expect McDonald's sweet tea to taste like tea but you can feel the diabetes in every sip. Very sad. read more

It's iconic, it's all-American, and many times in Taylor, Texas, it just plain sucks. The food ranges from awful to edible, but barely. Often the order is incomplete, particularly in the drive-thru. We've had egg McMuffins old enough to vote, and sausage biscuits hard enough to be used as weapons. The building is brand new, but the food and service are same old, same old. Tried to go inside but the line of people waiting for food was twice as long...or so I thought. Soooooooooo slooooooooow. Frequent visitor. Since they have remodeled it has been dicey. Service is bad, slow, and untrained workers. Examples. About a week after they were reopened I went in. It was chaos. I was waiting for my food inside. The manager picked up some food off the floor and then went and then went and made some fries and tried to hand it to them. I told her what she just did. She was nice and said I was right. Threw them away and made the customer more. Another time my son went in before school as the drive thru was very long. So he went inside to get his moca frappa. I waited and waited. Many cars went in and out. I called him and asked what was going on as he was gonna be late for school. He said they messed up his order. I told him to ask how much longer. Someone smarter off to him and said "patience is a virtue". Went again and was in drive thru forever. Finally got to the payment window and waited for a few minutes. I noticed the like storm lights were going off. No one said a word. Finally took my payment. Finally got up to the pickup. Drinks are piled up. She's gives me my drinks. It has been 10min since I ordered. Then they say I need to pull up for a sausage McMuffin. I asked how long. Maybe 4 Minutes I asked for a refund and got the slow refund for the sausage McMuffin and not the drinks. Head scratcher. Same manager from months back that picked up food off the floor. Gotta wonder. If they were struggling or had an issue they should have said something before I paid, not after and try to make me wait almost 15-20 minutes for McDonalds food. Absolutely terrible customer service. Everyone in this McDonald's on December 16, 2020 should be fired. They gave my husband the wrong order and charged him for the wrong order. While he waited for the correct order they brought him three dollars out. He asked what the money was for and the kid said he didn't know. My husband stated his order was $13 less than what he was charged not three. Instead of trying to refund and re-charge just give him the $10 bill. They stated they had done a refund and recharge but when I looked at our account while he was sitting there they had not. He waited and waited and finally went to the doors which were locked and they just looked at him like he was crazy. Finally they came out and gave him the $10. This McDonald's in Taylor is not the best as far as food goes. The french fries are never fresh and I once got a very old breakfast sandwich. I returned that and when the waitress took it in her hands, she said (accurately), "Yep. It's a hockey puck." But the reason I'm writing this negative review is because of their breakfast hours and their less than accomodating manager. I can't count the number of times I've visited this McDonald's and been told that they are no longer serving breakfast, even though it is not yet 10:30. Today, I actually drove into the line at 10:12, which should have been fine, but the lines were handled so slowly that I didn't get to place my order until 10:26. Which still should have worked. But they were, again, no longer serving breakfast. I think the customer ahead of me was also upset, because he got out of line and sped away. So I called the manager. Who told me they quit serving food when they run out, who was patronizing and not in the least wanting to patch things up, who told me they are a franchise and if I report to corporate it doesn't affect them, and who capped the whole thing off by calling me Sweetie. I honestly did not enjoy my time here, i did not enjoy my food that much because i had waited for a while and i expected that when i would get my food after waiting that it would be fresh but it was kind of cold. But there was this one worker who i liked and she was nice and i got along with her in the little time i was there waiting. The biggest issue is how slow it is. The food is pretty consistent for a Mcdonald's. But it's always slow. They have a double drive thru lane, but they still only answer one at a time so what is the point? And then people want to act like they are going to cut you off when the lanes merge. I have been to this McDonald's only a handful of times anywhere else that I would go and Taylor including this McDonald's I've always gotten nice customer service with the exception of tonight. The gentleman that took my order was very rude whenever he did it you could definitely tell in his tone of voice so he is probably had a bad day well that's not my problem and that's not my fault after I was done giving my order he said and I quote is that it with a Annoyed tone as if I did something to upset him which I did not. I have worked in the service industry for eight years at multiple different locations and I have never in my life taken order and ended with is that it so I found that very rude and a bad sign. I usually give them a boneffit of a doubt and even if I have a bad experience one time I wouldn't be here writing this review but I feel like it should be said. On top of that they got my order wrong so I intern went back to the drive-through in the same spot that I was in and I was the only one in the drive-through at the time no one came to the speaker as soon as someone pulled up next to me they took their order and I still sat there waiting and then someone else showed up next to me and they started taking their order again very very rude of them then whenever I pulled up to the window because I couldn't wait any longer to get somebody to the speaker the gentleman that was there he still seemed annoyed he still seemed rude and it was just an overall bad experience at this McDonald's. This is my third visit in two weeks, only because we've been delivering furniture over time to the same place nearby. I've asked for apple pies, and all three times they claim they are "out". Today, I found out they don't put them on until you order them at the window, which means you'd have to wait 12 minutes for it to be ready. Then, my husband and I ordered fish sandwiches. They cut the slice of cheese in half and put each half on our sandwiches. Before we left, I got the food and drink situated, and after going through the whole bag, there were no napkins. It wasn't busy so I stayed at the window and asked for napkins. I get that you want to cut corners, but this is not the way to save money. Customer service above all else except safety. You do that and you can never go wrong. I will be sending a copy of this to corporate offices also. read more

I moved to Taylor in March and I want to spend as much of my money in this great little town as possible. I love McDonalds coffee, so I went to this one. The service was very poor, no smile, no thank you, sugar not added to my coffee. Not a deal breaker, so went again about a month later. Different people, same attitude, and this time I had an egg McMuffin, which was in sad shape. Still determined, I went today, and the coffee lid was not on tight, which caused the coffee to go all over my hand, blouse and console. I asked for some napkins, and she handed them to me without looking at me. I opened my door to clean the mess; and when I closed my door she handed me my the rest of my order, again, without looking at me, or apologizing. She said nothing at all. SO.... I WILL NOT BE BACK.
