It was 1:30pm on July 4th, walked in and went to the counter, a girl told us that she couldn't take our order and told us to use the kiosk, which we've never done before. We wanted specifically to order our food through the counter, and NOT at the kiosk. The girl left us at the kiosk and went back to the counter and proceeded to help the next customers in line behind us at the counter. We had some issue with the kiosk and couldn't figure out. We went to go complain to the manager and after calling loudly several times to get her attention, she finally turned around. (She was less than 5 ft from us). The manager then told us that the counter ordering is going to go away and we have to use the kiosk in the future anyway. Refused to help us any further. So then, why are there at least 5 customers all waiting in line at the counter and no one at the kiosk???? We turned around and walked out. If I can give "negative 5 stars", I would!!! Ended up walking next door to Panda Express where there's no other customers, and we had our food right away to enjoy. read more

They offer punch cards for their mc cafe drinks! They don't keep it a secret like other locations do! I've gone to different locations since and asked if they have the same card (card is only good for one location) and they've all told me no! So they either don't know or management doesn't want to participate in this awesome program! Considering I drink coffee every morning this is a big perk for me! Their food is never dry like some McDonald's can me. This might seem lame but something that I use to see at all McDonald's was a trash can at the end of the drive thru. Today is the last day I will be ordering from this location. I have never came across terrible customer service only TERRIBLE FOOD. I ordered Fries and Chicken McNuggets and BOTH the fries and McNuggets are STALE, COLD and INEDIBLE. I literally tried to feed the McNuggets to a random dog that was roaming around my neighborhood and the dog didn't even want to eat it. What I'm about to mention here is a huge gripe I have about this place and is a big reason why I am only giving it a two star. I really hope somebody from corporate reads this and will implement some changes. The two lane drive-thru that converges into one lane is a HORRIBLE.... HORRIBLE..... RIDICULOUS idea. And I'll tell you why.... This morning I left for work 30 minutes early, in a happy jolly good mood and decided to stop by Mc Donald's for a coffee and breakfast burrito. When I pulled in the drive thru was packed but I figured since I have so much time to spare it was alright. So I went into the left drive-thru lane behind an SUV. The other lane had a line all the way around the curb. By the time the SUV was able to move forward to order, the other lane already had 2 cars go through with their orders. When the SUV in front of me finally pulled up, the lady had her little 5 yr old daughter in the back place the order. And I saw she was just staring at the menu and couldn't quite make out whether she was having issues with ordering the food or what, but this whole time I was watching the other lane going through car after car after car. By now 5-6 cars that came way after me had already placed their orders while I'm still stuck behind this SUV where the woman decided it was a great day and time for her daughter to learn how to order through the drive-thru on her own. Since all the cars saw what was happening behind me they started flooding into the other lane so luckily for me I was able to back up and LEAVE. Unfortunately for me though, I spent 15 minutes trying to get breakfast and ended up leaving empty handed. I could have just parked and walked in, but when I did that in the past I ended up waiting even longer inside because typically fast food places have this mentality that dine-in customers aren't in as big of a rush as drive-thru customers. So they tend to expedite the drive-thru orders a little more quickly. When this Mc Donald's first opened and I saw the dual drive-thru I thought it was the most RETARDED idea ever. I'm surprised there hadn't been more customers complaining about it. read more

For several times they served me cold pre-cooked food. This noon, they didn't even mix the glazed tenders well enough. It was like they had the chicken in the box and poured the sauce on them. I know it is crowded, but you have to find a way to always serve food at its best taste. That's how businessmen respect customers. read more

Customer service has definitely taken a huge nose dive since 2010. From 2017-current... the new hires are unbelievably RUDE!!! When you pull up to the drive thru you never get a thank you. Just a "What do you want"? And the tone is always as if I'm bothering them. It's sad because all the great employees and managers seemed to have been replaced. Management needs to be more selective when it comes to hiring team members. This place is a disaster. Never coming here again. read more

Customer service and urgency is obviously two words that this staff does not have in their vocabulary. After repeating my order what seemed to be a thousand times, they still managed to mess it up. Then they try charging me for an item that they messed up. I explicitly asked for an apple pie and they gave me apple slices. You guys this had to be the funniest trip to McDonalds we have ever had. First off, I have to say that this location is really nice and modern. It looks new or at least newly updated. They even have a cool new kiosk to order from. I was super nerding out to use it until someone at the counter called me over. Ugh, next time.... Anyhow, service was nice and pretty fast. All was going pretty typical. We got the drink and grabbed a table. They even gave us a number to post at our table so they can bring our food. Yeah! So we ordered the two cheeseburger meal plain and a six piece chicken nugget on the side. Simple enough right??? No, not at all!! First we opened the nuggets, the 6 piece was only 5. Hmm, okay easy fix, I went up and they gave me a new one. They could have just popped a little guy right in there but anyhow I was on my way back to the table. Next up, first plain cheeseburger. Well, it was just bun and meat, no cheese. Hmm, okay weird but okay. I'm on my way back up to get the cheese. Another cheeseburger was made and I was on my way. Next burger up!! My son opens it and there is just bun and cheese, no meat!! What the heck?!? I couldn't even be annoyed, we were laughing at this point. Where do I start...... I've given this place so many attempts and they never seem to change it around. I decided to stop in to get lunch through the drive through and my fries were cold and soggy and just gross. I ended up going in the store to ask if I could get some fresh fries she gives me attitude and comes back in seconds and says here these are hot. Compared to a lot of McDonald's in the area, this has got to be the best, within 10 miles for convenience, food, service, accurate, cleanliness. It is amazing how bad other McD's are in the Diamond Bar/Walnut area. This one shines with a clean, updated interior, double line drive-thru, quick in-store service, lightning drive-thru service, very decent food quality, and french-fries that are soooo good, they set the standard for fries out of all the McD's in the area. read more

To whomever fried the mcnugget at 7:20pm on dec13th. That mcnuggets was the best i ever had in my life. It is lightly crusted, juicy and soft in the inside. The batter is so light I start doubting did your corporate updated the receipe on the batter but i think that was some how the timing you guys put in. This place has two drive through speakers boxes, but goes into one lane soon after. I've only seen that with a few in and out burger places. This mcdonalds has friendly service. They have not got my order wrong so far and always has fresh fries. I usually get a hamburger and large fries before my afternoon jog. read more
