Horrible experience today. I placed an order in the app for pick up, and when I came in they tried to gaslight me and say that the order didn't exist, and after 10 minutes of arguing with the manager and showing him proof of the order on the app he said that the order was "cancelled" and that I could place an order through the registers if I still wanted the food. I did not cancel the order, if anything the app was not LETTING me cancel it because the payment went through. I confirmed that it was the right location for pick up and everything. I am just absolutely baffled by this experience, I paid for my food and they just told me "nuh-uh" and that I had to pay again if I wanted to get my order. Had to call the customer support line to get a refund, because both the app and the store said that they were unable to refund it. It wasn't even busy, the staff were just standing around and talking, how hard would it be to make my order when I showed the receipt and proof of payment? Terrible closing service, twice I have come here to get food for my family at night, both times I had to wait at the speaker for at least 15 minutes just to order! It wouldn't be as bad if they said something to let me know about a wait, but you just had to sit in silence wondering when/if they'd say anything. Tonight when I came (5/12/24), after waiting for about 10-13 minutes at the drive-through speaker I decided to order inside. However when I got to the door it was locked, mind you it was still 20 minutes before the inside closed. If it was 9:50-9:59 I could understand but c'mon. The day crew is usually pretty good but whoever they have closing the place lately sucks. I work fast food to, so I get how much closing a store sucks, especially when people are still ordering, but intentionally making miserable for the customer so they leave? Recently: -forgot 3 hash browns and 1 French fry -20 cold chicken nuggets (not ONE fresh nugget) -forgot an order of nuggets -add mustard when I ask without I get that mistakes happen but this has been every damn time for the last 5 times or more. The absolute incompetence of the workers employed at this establishment is astounding. They're rude, the food is horribly made, which actually gave me food poisoning. As soon as I got home after eating there, I got lightheaded, chills up and down my body, and walked away from my toilet a couple pounds lighter, if you know what I mean. Nearly 10 minutes for a few sausage biscuits and after waking at window 1 for several minutes, I was directed to maneuver around the car waiting at window 2 and wait at the end of the building. I love the new design. The computer ordering is great and easy. The staff go above and beyond. Very polite and helpful and patient. Two stars only because it is what it is - lol!! Normally I don't consider fast-food places "reviewable". I mean, let's face it, each one is normally a cookie cutter of the next. And I really don't frequent them that often - most likely when I've rushed out of the house without eating something, but need something in my stomach pronto (car sickness is my enemy). This particular Mcdonald's, however, continues to amuse me. Several years ago when they first had omelets on the breakfast menu (not sure if they still do that), I ordered an omelet that was supposed to be either "Western" or "Spanish". Either way, it was supposed to contain a bunch of different ingredients. Well, apparently there was a mixup at the premade omelet mix factory, because what I received was an omelet that was 10% eggs & 90% scallions. Yup - just scallions, nothing else. And you know, I like scallions. Just not enough of them to turn eggs green & first thing in the morning - lol!! I know I should have returned it, but we were in a hurry, so I ate half, tossed the rest, & chalked the resulting heartburn up to experience. So I went thru the drivethru today, just to grab a burger (again - left house without eating - shame on me), & lo & behold they've once again done something else that is beyond comprehension because it's so utterly STUPID. They have a guy standing in a little phone-booth-type thing outside to take your order - but he's situated about 15-20 feet in front of & away from where the menu board is!! So if you're not sure what they have or what you want, you're basically screwed - lol!!! I was actually laughing when I gave my burger order to the guy. I mean really - how totally STUPID is this?? LOL!!!! If they still have this setup next time I decide to pop in there, I'm thinking I'll put the car in park, get out, & walk over to the board, even if I don't need to. I've been to this McD's several times since the first review. There's no problem with the food, but the drivethru is wicked slow! This past Sunday at 3:30 PM (no lunch rush, mind you) I waited over 20 min to order and get my food. They must need more people is all I can't figure. The staff were apologetic and gave my daughter an extra toy in her happy meal. The dude taking orders and running the cash register was helping the other put the orders together. I'll go there again I'm sure, because I love Mc'Ds - and already had a bad experience at BKs down the street. Annoyed that the mgr doesn't staff up. I saw several cars leave the drivethru line because true were sick of waiting. I wonder how many people were there because Chik-filet is closed on Sundays! It's been a very long time since the kids and I ate here. This location always seems to have the drive through wrapped around to the very edge of business 29. On the inside it looks like there's a small grip on what could break out as mass confusion any second. I don't recall ever getting bad food here but I just lost interest once the combo meal costs started matching actual resaurant prices. We went on Sunday because we got some pretty good coupons in the mail. We got the BOGO Quarter pounder with cheese. It was o.k. Not a lot of flavor. Fries were warm.. Ketchup tasted too thin and salty. Not sure what brand that is in the pumps. One thing I don't like is having CNN on. I can't stand hearing or watching the news anyway, much less when I'm out to eat lunch. But this is all my opinion and why I haven't been in so long... I give it a 2 because the food isn't gross but there are better options in town. read more

Service here was very, very slow both inside and at the drive thru. They had three cashiers inside and no one to wait on as everyone ordered and many people waiting on food.
