An assortment of flavors, from red velvet and sourdough, to cream filled. It was this latter where Texas stands out: they can fill it with a variety of fillings using a machine on every stoners wish list: it injects the donut with flavors. I got two chocolate glazed filled with Bavarian, and whitw creme, and a long john of Bavarian. The cream fillings were great, no trouble there. The donuts were.. different. Donuts have that progression, from air filled Krispy Kreme, to dense cake donuts, and used hockey pucks left over from 1987 Duncan Donuts. I like the airy kind, not so much as Krispy because that's too thin, but something with heft, but air pockets. Texas rides the line between pockets of air and density, and what it tasted like is that they had been airy at one point, but those pockets collapsed on themselves creating a hybrid airy/dense donut. Tasty, but not top of my list. That spot still belongs to Duck Donuts. It's possible the Texas donuts I had were sitting out a bit, or the creme filling caused a collapse of the internal donut structure. I'm not sure but I will go back to try the denser varieties to be sure. Very nice employees, calm and clean interior. Parking is tough, on a hill in tight spots, or down around the hill and climb some stairs.

They've been in business for over two generations, and all of the ladies who work there are extremely friendly and they go above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service! I'm 70 years old, and if I were younger I would love to work there. They're doing it "ALL right" to still be in a thriving bakery business in our struggling times. I get my holiday orders in early, and once you become a regular customer you'll understand why! They work endlessly to make sure that they have taken care of their customers wants and needs long before Christmas Eve. They close the bakery from the afternoon on Christmas Eve, and they stay closed until after the New Year! We all realize how important it is for their staff to enjoy the holidays with their own families and friends, so we make sure that we're set with our bakery orders and needs before Christmas Eve. We'll be in line and happily waiting for them to open their doors again after the New Year! Thank you for the years of kindness and quality baked goods, coupled with outstanding customer service and hospitality In our community! Sincerely from, Kimberly Ann Hall

Inside you'll find a very cozy mom and pop shop where you can find all sorts of treats from pies cakes cookies and especially donuts. I was sent this location from someone in the area for a request of donuts but when I got there I decided to try a little bit of everything. Donuts are delicious and taste fresh and their chocolate chip cookies are very good with the homemade feel. Service is exactly what you'll expect where the clientele are asking for the owner by name. Definitely recommend if you're in the area

On this day I was in The Dairy Godmother and noticed that Just Fine was also located there, so it was a good opportunity to try. It was a Saturday night almost 9pm and I didn't realize they were about to close. When I ordered my donut, I asked if I was getting ice cream too, should I pay separately or together and I was informed that since they were about to close, the donuts were free! And they asked if I wanted to try any others. So I got: mango tajin, chocolate cake (not pictured) and chocolate glazed. The chocolate cake was dry and didn't have much flavor. The chocolate glazed was my favorite. The donut was cakey and reminded me of some sweet treat from my childhood that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe some of the Entenmann's donuts? Anyway, it was really good for being a simple and plain donut. The manjo tajin wasn't bad. It's a plain vanilla cake donut with the mango and tajin in the icing. The flavors were good, but it wasn't worth me finishing. I love donuts and I love specialty donuts. While they may have some, this wasn't a place that I will include in my regular donut rotation, but I'm glad I finally got to try them.

We love the vanilla donuts and the apple fritters! We can't wait to try more flavors.

It was unbelievably soft, airy and pillowy - not dry at all and basically melted in my mouth! The glaze was fantastic, as well. I also tried the jalapeno cheddar kolache and it was amazing (I toasted it at home). The flavorful sausage had bits of jalapeno and cheese throughout, and the dough was super fluffy! I will note that the store itself is small and it was a bit hectic ordering (no orderly lines were formed), but the service was quick! I'm obsessed with their delicious donuts and kolaches - highly recommend!

The donuts have always been fresh. I recently tried one of their "cronuts" and thought it was really tasty! It was huge and flaky like a perfect croissant/donut mashup could be. I like that they fill donuts fresh in the store when you order, too. I wish the company would improve their iced coffee options. It seemed a bit average and simple for a store with great branding. That's not a mark against this specific store tho. I've visited this store a couple of times and would highly recommend them over any other chain donut location in the area.

Outdoor seating is a bit noisy at the moment due to construction across the street. My only complaint is that $3.50 for a very small drip coffee felt a bit steep - the small felt smaller than usual.

Our donut was light and fluffy, with a creme infused with real banana. Its rare to find donuts that balance complex flavors, sweetness level, and good crumb but all of those things are what make it distinct fom others, especially chain restaurant donuts. Of course, these are probably made the day of and ours was a large and substantial size. Its definitely a treat-yourself type of moment to commit to the price point, but we weren't disappointed. My take on high‑price‑point food in Union Market is simple: that's exactly where you'll find it. So once you let go of that once you enter, you have a more pleasureable experience by allowing yourself to indulge and try to find the thing that will really fulfill you. And they did that for me.
