The variety of fillings includes mushrooms and Swiss; boudin; BBQ brisket; and even macaroni and cheese. These are a great choice, but one can also get a plain old fashioned hamburger or cheeseburger with toppings outside of the patty if one wishes. There are a choice of breads for these, so if you want it on Texas Toast or a Jalapeno Bun, it's all good! Then you need a side. There are of course fries and onion rings, but also tater tots and sweet potato fries. If you have any room left they have a pretty nice selection of ice cream and frozen treats. This location is just north of I-10, so it's convenient to stop into for a quick lunch. If one is so inclined, you could get an order to go, and enjoy a picnic at the nearby Maplewood Park.

Their patties are handmade rather than pre-pressed and frozen, which makes for a perfect burger. Of course, the trip is not complete without their fries and world-class onion rings. I have been coming here for the last four years, and the lady at the grill is always happy, energetic, and dedicated to providing great service. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
