This is a tiny little McDonald's in the middle of a small ski town. We were passing through on our way to Grand Lake and stopped to get breakfast. The food was exactly as expected, a classic McDonald's breakfast sandwich. The inside is clean and the bathrooms are single person only. The staff were friendly enough. The floors were disgusting, the tables were so gross, and just everything was just gross. The people at the counter were rude as ever and just did not care at all. First of all, we recieved no hash browns with our breakfast orders. Second of all, my good buddy recieved no straw with his coffee, which was also made incorrectly. We stopped to get something to eat. My husband went into the mens room to use the bathroom. The toilet was clogged, there were no hand towels, and there was urine on the floor. There was a floater in the toilet and the sink was filthy. All of the visible employees were males so it is highly likely they are not washing their hands based on the condition in the bathroom. Can someone tell me how having the front entrance only being accessible by humans WALKING though the drive through driveway is a good idea? It's extremely unsafe and when you reverse out of your spot in the parking lot, you're backing into the line that is the drive through line. People should not be walking where cars are actively moving forward, and chances are the people in the drive through aren't focused on pedestrians in that very moment. Don't let the appearance fool you, this McD is trash. Get some snacks from anywhere else if you need a fix. I just wanted a soda and an ice cream cone from the drive thru for the 2 hour drive home. How is it even possible to screw this up? The Diet Dr Pepper was completely flat, I couldn't even drink it. The ice cream was so warm it was dripping onto the cone as they handed it to me. I decided it wasn't worth trying to fight for a refund so I just tossed it. If you just want something quick from a drive-thru, there is a McDonalds in Idaho Springs which seems to be very well run and is super clean. I would give zero stars if I could. Worst customer service I have experienced anywhere. They got the order wrong, argued that we were wrong, the counter person was extremely rude. I went in there and ordered a big mac and couple apple pies ( the cashier kept saying things like 2 for 1, 4 for 2, 6 for 3 even though I clearly stated 2 apple pies) and then waited a half-hour ( average serving time was supposedly like 47 seconds ) for my big mac, which I received with pickles when I asked for none, and then a cup for water cost me extra money. A water cup costs money at that place... So I ate that nasty over-sauced big mac and immediately went to Cosmic Dog to fill the gaping hole left in my stomach left by all the space the big mac didn't take up. Actually the worst mcdonalds I've ever been to. During my stay in winter park I visited this mcdonalds three times, (due to its close proximity to the condo I was staying in) and every time they screwed up my order, either forgetting a sandwich or my drink. It wasn't only me, not even kidding EVERY other person had their order messed up too; plus it took about 10-15 minutes for each meal to be served. So much for fast food. Too bad this is the only "fast" food place in town, managed by 15 year old children who are only in their position due to their ability to speak to the slow working, Hispanic workers behind the counter. Asked for a McMuffin Meal was told there was not a meal but I could buy the sandwich, coffee, and hash-brown separate. I said that was fine and ordered it along with an Egg McMuffin meal which was an actual meal. Only was given 1 hash-brown along with my two coffees and two sandwiches, and when I asked for the 2nd the employee said I had not paid for it. Normally this would not be that big of a deal but the whole interaction was horrible. I had mistakenly thrown away my receipt because we were the only people in the establishment so I figured I would not need to keep my order number. I said fine please give me the hashbrown you were placing in my bag and then took out of my bag and I will pay you.
