Their french fries are so delicious, as are the sweet potato fries. For those who love Gatorade in an old school can, this place has you covered. After ordering at the window, there is plenty of seating at picnic tables. Hideaway Park brewery is next-door if you fancy a beer while you wait for your hot dog. Being first in line here is an important strategy. The line gets long and because the food is hand made every time and it could take up to 30 minutes to receive your order. But getting here when they first open is important, I only waited less than 10 minutes. The beef hotdogs are so big and firm and every bite is a delicious masterpiece. The taste is so balanced. The sweet potato fries were also only PERFECT. The perfect size lightly salted and fried to perfection. I wanted to try this place the first time we visited Winter Park but they weren't open yet so I was glad when we got to check them out this last time. I should have gotten the elk dog with cream cheese but I opted for the Chicago dog. I was disappointed after a few bites that the taste was bland. It had all of the right components to make a good Chicago dog but it lacked so much flavor. other people with us all loved their dogs. I am leaving a 1 star review as I received a brat with a bun after specifically stating i needed a brat with no bun. I stated this to the nice young lady who took my order not once but twice and she confirmed that it would be without a bun. When I received my order I went to eat it in my vehicle on our trip home. My brat was on a bun so I took it back to have a new one made. On the way to the window I gave it to a family. I did this because I have had restaurants simply remove my food from the offending wheat and give it back. As I am very allergic to wheat this doesn't work for me. I almost never eat out as a result. The worker girl confirmed I had ordered a brat with no bun to her manager. The manager stated they would need me to pay for a new brat unless I showed him evidence of the mistake. Logically I can understand this. However I could sense him being dismissive of not only my honesty but also his or her workers honesty in that a mistake was made and me, the customer l, wanted a resolution. The quality of this establishment's food is no doubt quite good as I had eaten here in the past and looked forward to the same experience today. Although I can understand the manage's perspective I don't appreciate their atitude toward me or worse yet the worker who simply wanted to correct a mistake any of us could make. As such I will not eat here again and I would not recommend others with food intolerances do so. read more

We ordered the Dogfather with string fries. It had chili, Pickles, sport peppers, onions, relish, tomato, celery salt, and yellow mustard. The bun was so soft and delicious. Food was piping hot and fresh. Burgers were average size but order of fries was huge. 2 burgers and 1 fry was $40. A little steep ... but, hey, it's in a prime location in a ski town. Not sure what took us so long to make it to Fraser Valley Hot Dogs, but I'm glad we finally came. We got takeout during the pandemic, and note that they are currently open from 12 - 4 PM even though the COVID-19 update on Yelp says 12 - 3 PM. We called in our order on Saturday around 1:45 PM, and it only took 15 minutes for our takeout to be ready. There are convenient parking spots right in front to quickly pop in, pickup our food from their takeout window, and be on our merry way. We tried: - Elk jalapeno cheddar, 4.5/5. This has such good potential to be a 5 out of 5, and the caramelized onions, cheddar, and jalapeno cream cheese combo is out of this world, but unfortunately my elk brat was a little burnt and bitter. Better luck next time? - Polish sausage, 4/5. Solid choice with caramelized onions, kraut, and brown mustard. - Wild boar bratwurst, 4/5. The kraut and brown mustard on the wild boar brat was great, but even though it says stuffed with apricots and cranberries on the menu, we couldn't quite taste that in the brat. - Sweet potato fries, 4/5. Got a medium and it was enough for 3 adults to share along with 3 brats. Comes with not a lot of ketchup. Overall, we really like that their brats are served on these delicious pillowy poppy seed buns, and the brats stayed warm till the last bite even though it took us 10 minutes to get back to the condo. The sweet potato fries did get a little cold, but the brats were nicely packaged in takeout containers that kept them warm. They also have a couple of unheated tables outside if you want to eat your food on the spot, but it was too cold today for us to do that.  We're definitely adding this spot to our ski-trip must-eat list! read more

First they took away all the umbrellas. You eat in the hot sun.... I asked for hot fries ,they said I will make them crispy. They took cold fries and put them back in the hot oil( terrible , they were as crispy as potato chips. I didn't realize what they did ( I should have asked for new batch!!!! What a hit! This place is tiny - no seating available on the inside. But there are tables with umbrellas on the patio. They're also right next door to a brewery, and that's where you're allowed to eat indoors. (Although, when we visited the brewery it was very HOPS smelly. Idk how often it smells badly, but I couldn't handle it myself. It didn't both my husband though.) We got the: 1. Elk Jalapeño Cheddar Brat - almost tasted more like an Italian sausage and was very skinny. If you're feeling pretty hungry, this will most definitely not fill you up. Although your tastebuds will thank you!! The creaminess from the cream cheese was perfect with the spiciness of the brat and jalapeños. 2. Danimal burger (without ketchup) - unless you have a love affair with ketchup, just skip it! There is so much taste in the burger alone, not to mention the caramelized onions, jalapeño cream cheese, bacon, pickles, cheddar cheese and tomato! OH MY GOODNESS.
