The location was quaint and a short walk from our hotel. We were greeted right away. Our party was a larger group so we were given a larger space to accommodate us. The dining area was comfortable and nice. Our server was excellent! She was friendly, on top of our needs, and did a great job with a larger group. My daughter and I shared the Chicken piccata with pasta and my husband had the white fish special. We also ordered a Caesar salad. The salad was so delicious and ingredients fresh and crisp. The bread was good that was served during the salad course. My meal was changed from a marinara to an alfredo sauce on the pasta and that might have been one the best version of this meal I've ever had. The veggies were broccoli and they give you a large helping. It's fresh and was steamed to perfection. We also ordered a bottle of the house red wine and it was perfectly paired to our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and if we ever come back for a business trip we will be visiting Strings Italian Cafe! P.S. I forgot to take a picture of my husband's meal oops

What a wonderful meal and experience! Not your typical Italian menu you find everywhere. Food was crafted with high quality ingredients and deliciously prepared. We sat on the patio and it was lovely. Try the Aetna Brewery blackberry blond, it is a perfect summer beer and pairs great with the shrimp scampi. Melissa our server was wonderful and attentive to all our needs and promptly followed through with requests, she's a gem! Definitely worth a visit I highly recommend it to anyone coming through Yreka.

Friendly staff and good food. The meat lasagna had black olives in it, which grossed my daughter out, but I liked it. The house salad was a generous portion, and very good.

And I waited an hour, although I went almost the first to the cafe

Terribly dirty toilet, shabby dirty furniture inside, it will be very worse for you to find an institution. Waiting for food for at least an hour, we ordered a lot of different food, pasta that takes 15 minutes to cook, and pizza that takes 15 minutes to cook, we waited for almost an hour. The waiter forgot our order although it consisted of only 4 dishes. Pasta is served with a spoon and not a fork. It was terrible why he got such a high rating on Yelp I don't understand

Not too happy. I called and got a salad to go (which i loved) but they charged me over $18.00. Won't do that again. Way too much!

Not much good Italian in the county! This place some people rave about, but, for me several attempts and just barely edible....not for me!

Food was below average and very very expensive for what we got. The veal was like shoe leather, and the spaghetti was just 3LAU.

Sat on the patio since we had a pet which was nice since they had nice music playing. The chicken Alfredo was bomb and so were the dinner rolls. Also tried a lemon beer that was really good. If you're in the area and want to have a nice tasty dinner make sure to stop by and try this spot out.

Being half Italian, I'm always on the lookout for good Italian food. Since parking is limited, we parked on the side of the building and made our way inside. The moment you walk in, you're immediately hit with a beautiful atmosphere. The authenticity of an Italian family truly makes itself known--it feels like walking into a relative's home. On top of that, there are old photos on the walls that look like true classics. The hostess told us it would be about a 15 to 20 minute wait for a table and offered us seats at the bar if we wanted a drink while we waited. Just as we sat down--barely two minutes later--she came back and said, "We can seat you now." We made our way to the table, and I continued soaking in the atmosphere. About five minutes later, our waitress came over and asked what we'd like to drink. We both ordered ginger ale. Roughly three minutes later, our drinks arrived--and let me tell you, it was some of the best ginger ale we've ever tasted. We placed our order for calamari, followed by our entrées. I went with the spaghetti Bolognese, and my wife ordered a salad with fried ravioli. The calamari came with cocktail sauce and was absolutely delicious. Our entrées came out about 10 minutes later, and let me just say "I've found my favorite Italian restaurant" now. Sure, Olive Garden is fine, but it's not authentic. To me, it's always important to find that little taste of Italy that leaves you comfortably full and completely satisfied. Thanks Mike & Tonys for a wonderful experience with service and food. We will be back!!

We ended up just wandering around the area looking for an alternative and stumbled upon Osteria La Briccola; I'm always down for Italian, and it looked like there were some good options for the members of our group who were gluten free. There were 7 of us though, and we were told it would be about a 50-minute wait for a table. It was getting kind of late to be looking for somewhere else to go, so we were like okay, we'll just sit and wait. As we were walking away, the general manager Daniel rushed out and said if we could give him 15 minutes, he could have us set up in the private dining room. We didn't even know such a thing existed, but we said okay, cool. Reader, it could not have possibly been a better experience. We waited a bit (less than 15 minutes, even) and walked into this private space to find a large family-style dining table all set up for us, with candlelight and music and the whole bit. Our server Patrick was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the menu, able to answer all our questions, and had a great sense of humor. Everyone ordered something different and ended up trying bites of each other's food, and it was all delicious. Several of us even ordered dessert; I don't normally, but the salted caramel gelato sounded too good to pass up (and it was well worth it). It was such a great evening and was, I'm sure, 10x better than the other place we'd originally planned on eating at. Thank you Daniel and Patrick for taking such good care of us!
