I was actually heading to FedEx when I happened to look up at Amazing Lash Studio and had one of those "wait a minute..." moments. I've always wanted to try lashes, so I walked in just to get some information. The young lady at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, and I immediately liked the atmosphere. The studio is really cute, clean, and nicely decorated. Before I knew it, I had booked myself a Sunday appointment! Dejah did my lashes and she is an absolute sweetheart. I felt so comfortable with her that I literally fell asleep and woke up with these gorgeous, luxurious lashes. She gave me exactly what I wanted without me really knowing how to explain it--beautiful and full enough to make a difference, but not so much that they looked overwhelming. And yes...I have been flashing these lashes ever since! I've lost one or two, but I'm assuming that comes with the territory. They still look beautiful. I am understanding and appreciative that the staff tried to work out a walk in appointment on new years eve... but... i can not go in public like this.. I came in for a foreign fill which they do not do so they had to remove my lashes then do a full set. The removal wad finished by 9:40 and lashes were done by 11:10. So to ask me to pay for a full set under 2 hours is a bit ridiculous . The host felt bad because i mean LOOK. Their solution was come back for a 30 minute session to fix it AFTER new years. I recently moved to the area and booked an appointment with Amazing Lash Studio. Since it was my first experience with the business, they determined who my technician would be. Unbeknownst to me, I was given a technician who had minimal experience. I'm pretty sure she was still completing her training. The technician was inhospitable and nonchalant. Furthermore, she smelled of smoke and chewed and popped her gum over top of my face throughout the entire session (thank God for face masks). It took her 2.5 hours to do a simple classic set, which is the longest it's ever taken for me to get lashes installed. My session ended around their closing time and I had plans that evening, so I glanced at my lashes quickly on my way out, as I was eager to get home. By the time I left the appointment, I was a little frustrated and disappointed. When I returned home and got a good look, I was even more frustrated because my lashes were not as full as I desired. One eye was more full than the other. When I used my lash wand, they were already starting to fall out. I made sure to keep them dry, sleep on my back, and still tried to stick it out, but, unfortunately, 80-90% of the lashes fell out within four days. I called the studio back and they laughed a little bit when I expressed my concerns about the technician they gave me. I guess they knew the tech didn't have the best work or reputation. They rescheduled me for an hour to see another tech who was friendly, warm, and caring. Considering having to complete nearly a full set within a one-hour time block, she did a great job! However, within a week, they all fell out again. I have been getting lashes successfully installed for three years now and never had an experience like this. My lashes typically last 3-4 weeks without issue. I figure the glue or lashes Amazing Lash uses for classic sets aren't the best quality. Came here for a Baltimore Style Magazine event located in the new shopping area where the former Sweetheart Cup Co. was located in Owings Mills. The event held in the lash salon, gave way for them to promote their business to the guests. The lash technicians were pleasant and knowledgable in the services they provided. There was comp wine, soft drinks, cupcakes and massages! The Baltimore Style mag had a photographer and gave out discount coupons for various beauty services. All in all, the lash studio is great for someone who is committed to semipermanent lashes and offered a host of monthly plan options to keep your lashes looking their best. Caution! Stay away! They are rude, nasty and disrespectful. They are going to charge me full prize with my membership and additional charge for taking my old lashes out because they don't put lashes on after someone else lashes. What a bunch of BS! I still gave them a tip though. But foe the prize I pay, they need to do better than this. I got my first set of lashes for my birthday; I chose "sexy" because I wanted something noticeable, but still subtle. After 12 days, I had several lashes missing from one eye and my lash line was a little irritated. This is no fault of my original stylist. I called and made an appointment with a different stylist just to get a different perspective. I chose a different master stylist based on her yelp reviews and boy did I luck up! Jessica did not disappoint. First of all, they accommodated me even though I was running late. Jessica did exactly as I asKed. She filled in the necessary gaps, gave me a custom loOk, provided more direction on how to care for my lashes and even recommended I lighten the load on my lashes to give them time to get stronger. Horrible experience! Lashes lasted less than a week...when I went to discuss this with the staff they told me they knew exactly who did mine as they have had complaints about her work. Even with this knowledge the management only offered to have another set at the same price. Why would I pay for a full set being installed again when I just had them done? All I should have required if done correctly was maintenance!! Yes, your information provided is untrue and based on assumptions. I was specifically told I didn't NEED the care products as I actually have my own products as I am not new to getting lashes done and their care. I'm leaving 2 stars because when I was actively getting my lashes done, I did like them. All the techs are super talented and sweet. The receptionist is also always nice... HOWEVER, I purchased a membership and used it for a couple of months. It came in handy!! I then ran into a really tough financial hardship and decided to cancel my membership. I signed the paperwork, got a confirmation email, the whole 9. Come the following month my account is charged the $199 despite cancelling my membership the month before this. When I called the receptionist tried to help and looked up my membership and confirmed that it had already been cancelled and my card should not have been charged. It has been 3 days now of consistently calling back multiple times a day waiting to speak to a manager so that I can get my money back (I mean come on it's $200!!! It's not a small amount of money!) and I have not gotten a single answer I just keep getting told that I will be getting a call back. Not only has it been days since I've been able to speak to someone, I'm sure the refund will take a couple business days to process. Now it is Friday and I'll have to wait way too long to get money back from something that was never even my fault. And again, the reason I cancelled is because of my new financial situation so this REALLY sucks. read more

I called this place to make an appointment. Appointment time was pretty accommodating BUT, I had some questions as I was totally new to the lash thing. I spoke with Heather and in the surface she was quite nice with a hint, just a hint of irritation. I understood that as I asked about 5-6 questions on lash process and upkeep. Well, I made my appointment and then told I had to put a credit card on file to hold my appointment. Nothing would be charged ( so WHY would you need my credit card). In this day and age, I'm not in the business of opening up our finances over the phone, to someone I have no idea who they are and have no good reason ( except to make an appt) to need my credit card information. I asked well is this if I don't show for the appointment? Is it for cancellation fee? Heather told me "No" it's just what we require. Hmmm, doesn't make sense to me. So, I figured I would Yelp their reviews and look up policies before I gave my credit card and told her I'd call her back. I didn't hang up right away and she THOUGHT she hung up. I heard her be so disrespectful ( I had told her as I'm getting older, make up etc takes more and more time so I need a short cut). I listened while she actually was talking about me and the questions I had asked her. She was so disrespectful and ridiculed and mocked me. Just plain mean spirited! I felt embarrassed not knowing who she was speaking too; who was in the salon at the time. Of course, I didn't call back and will never call back. I have stewed on this for a couple days and thought I would let any current or future customers know what went on behind closed doors. Heather should be embarrassed that she is that kind of person. Morgan did my first full set and they looked absolutely gorgeous! I loved them so much and they still look pretty good after 2 weeks when I went on to get a fill . BUT , when I went in to get a fill I had a different stylist and she did a great job on one eye and a HORRIBLE job on the other . Now the side she didn't a horrible job on , all the lashes are almost out and I have to schedule an appointment for Tuesday to get a fill but I don't know if I'll even have enough lashes for that . I'm very disappointed with how my fill turned out . Update : I went to get them redone today by the same stylist who did my fill and she did an amazing job ! I'm giving 2 stars because I truly liked the way my lashes looked (after finding another technician). My issue is that the last time I went when I opened my eyes, they were both slightly glued shut. I was able to open them, but the glue in my eye started to bother me (even on the drive home directly after the application). The next day, I woke up with discharge/pus in both eyes to the point where they were crusted shut. I went to the doctor and told it was bacterial -which points to the glue getting in my eye and causing pink eye/infection. I had to miss a week of work because I could not go to work with a bacterial eye infection. I can't afford to miss work due to eyelash extensions, so I have requested to cancel my appt. I've received services from this studio before and it was fine, nothing spectacular. However, Just recently I went in and the lady who was doing my lashes, though very nice, smelt like feces. Her hands were clearly dirty and I felt rude speaking up. Dirty hands during a pandemic, not to mention while doing an EYE treatment????? Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. About a week into the treatment I started experiencing swelling and extreme dryness. I was seen at the doctor for an eye infection, thinking I just had a bad reaction to the treatment. Little did I know this was a bacteria issue. I now have a stye, a bump with puss in my eyelid and I have now experienced two flare ups after the appointment, including my eyelashes FALLING OUT -- my REAL lashes. The lash stylist who did my lashes hands smelled strongly of marijuana, i showed numerous pictures of the style i wanted and walked out with something completely different and to make matters worse, the day after i got my lashes done the pads they used under my eye broke me out so bad my eyes are extremely puffy and red. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was highly disappointed. After living in California for 3 years and getting my lashes done throughout that period, I've experienced many lash technicians. I'd heard of Amazing Lash, so I went in to the location here in MD, assuming they were reputable. I called to set up my apt and asked twice on the phone if they use mink lashes. The representative on the phone assured me they did. When I went in, I asked the tech who was about to do my lashes if they were mink. She also assured me they were. A full set of lashes normally takes 90 mins to 2 hours. They said to expect to be there 2 hrs. I left myself an hour afterward to get to a 3pm work apt. I never made it because my eyes were glued shut, top lashes to bottom. After the tech finished my lashes i couldn't open either eye... she proceeded to try and pick my lashes apart... which she had been doing throighout the proceedure and I never experienced before in my 3 years of getting lashes! Finally, I asked her to stop and get a senior stylist or someone in charge... she did. I couldn't see and this person proceeded to press down on my eyes and lashes while trying to tug them apart... at this point I was in intense pain and scared. I had never had this experience before and was terrified. They clearly did not know what they were doing! I asked the new "senior" tech what was going on and why she kept tugging at my lashes... Wasn't there some type of liquid she could use to remove the glue versus pulling my lashes out... she said she wasnt pulling them out... she was pulling them apart! I couldnt believe she didn't understand how painful that was. After a few more mins of pulling and crying i couldn't take it anymore and i asked them to remove thier hands from my face immediately. When she tugged again I cursed at her to remove her fing hands from my eyes now! She finally did. I sat up and asked that the owner be called immediately and that my phone and wallet be handed to me. Then I asked what time it was... they said they didnt know first... like what the hell?! I can't see and this is your customer service? You can't find a clock to tell me the time?! Someone finally did. It was 3pm! My apt was at noon. I got there at 11:45. I have never had a full set of lashes take more than 2 hrs unless it was volume and even then... so not only did i waste a day on a terrible service and put my self in serious risk of permanent eye damage of injury. I missed out on a payimg consultation meeting and I have to pay to get these removed, which i made an apt to go to a true professional who has photos of her work and apologized profusely for amazing lashes terrible work and experience. I left there so angry and terrified and ehen i spoke to the owner of this establishment on the phone she told me to leave my name and number and she'll see what she can do for me?! WHAT?! No apology, no sincerity to wanting to resolve the matter. If felt like I must've been interrupting her lunch because she seemed annoyed to even be having to tall to me. It was aweful! I tries to ask the girls what they would do in my position?! I had been calm for 3 hrs to then find my eyes completely glued shut... then they wanted me to let them put more chemicals in my eyes after that to remove the lashes. I told them I was not letting them anywhere near my eyes and I would rather call emergency services to be taken to the hospital. They told me I couldnt sue because I signed a waiver and its not their fault! I was so pissed that they wouldn't take responsibility for their shotty work and clearly aweful training! Our eyes are too important to be signing a waiver that allows someone to damage your eyes and bare no responsibility! DON'T GO HERE! Even when i arrived that "senior" tech was on the phone and told me to have a seat and hold on... I then had to sit there as the obly customer and listen to her have a private phpne call with her boyfriend. When the other tech got off the phone she helped me... this place is beyond unprofessional and is hiding dangerously shotty service behind a franchise name. And to top it all off... they definitely are NOT mink lashes and are some thick synthetic super fake looking lashes. read more

These ladies are fantastic!! Got my lashes done for the very first time and It might have been the best thing I've EVER done . Front desk was fast , efficient & super friendly. I went to Amazing Lash earlier this month because I wanted lashes for my birthday! AIVORY was so awesome to work with! I LOVED my lashes; I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. The staff was very professional and friendly; the receptionist was super helpful with explaining the process, and helping me explore my lash options. Also, my lashes held up VERY well..I managed to keep them in tact through a very wet and windy vacation (swimming, boat rides, windy days and rough sleeping). I have been going to ALS for almost a year. I have mainly used Jessica and Karyna....I love both of these gals and they do a beaufti ful job with my 3D's. I really like my lashes and think they look very nice without being overdone. I have always found the whole studio very friendly and accomodating.The ladies have all been delightful. I love my lashes and have not had a bit of trouble with maintaning them. I get mine done every two weeks with a contracted plan. I went to Amazing for the first time about 3 weeks ago and got my very first set of lash extensions. My lashes are light blonde and I was excited to try them. Rachel was my technician and she explained everything to me so that I knew what was happening. When I made the appointment, I knew to allow about 2 hours for the first application. The time flew by as I relaxed and let Rachel do her magic. For the first time in my life, I awake to lashes that show up without any mascara! I will definitely be back for touch-ups! The staff was delightful, engaging and very knowledgeable HOWEVER, I had health challenges that prohibits me from having my lashes done. I froze the account in July. In October, I contacted A.L.S. to close the account. I never received the form need to cancel. I went to the store to complete the form only to find out that the THREE month payments have been deducted from my bank and WILL NOT be refunded. I was told to transfer the credits to someone else. I was realllllly hesitant to try lashes again but heard good things about this place. I spoke with Jessica, my clinician, and told her my concerns and she made me feel really comfortable. I was a member for a few months but I really feel like this is way overpriced so I canceled. $70 a month for a year is $840 and that is too much to pay for lashes that barely stay on. I have had individual lash extensions in the past and loved them, BUT I could feel that they were there, showering, or going swimming, the water would collect on the lashes and weigh them down to the point where I could barely open my eyes. But the lashes that they use here are SO light weight, I actually forget that they are they (that is until someone compliments me on them, which happens a lot!) And then there's the price, I have paid well over $200 for a full set of extensions in the past, and the intro price here was, what? $80 or $90!!! The quality and the price? Um.... HELLO no brain-er!!!!
