In atypical fashion, my wait was much too long. Two people who arrived 15-30 minutes after me were taken to the back before me (even though I arrived before my appointment time). I was told I was waiting for a room to be available so I'm not sure why my wait was so long. Once in the back, the appointment ran fairly smoothly. The doctor was able to explain diagnose my issue quickly and send in an eye drop prescription for me that cleared it up. It worked well enough that I was able to cancel my follow-up appt a week later. The office is always clean and nicely organized. The staff is usually pleasant.

I've been…read morecoming to this office for many years, and generally had good experiences up until about two years ago. I came in for my routine exam, and things went as expected. I picked a pair of frames and spent about $300+ after insurance. Again, no complaints. Kat called me to inform me that my glasses were ready for pick up. I went and immediately noticed that the prescription was not correct. I shared this concern at pick up and was told that due to the prescription that I needed to wear them for about two weeks to allow my eyes to get adjusted. I didn't fully understand this because my prescription was the same as it had always been. I complied, and experienced headache and eye aches. I shared this and went back to the location. Again, I was assured that the prescription was current and shouldn't cause me to have any concerns. Instead it was. No resolve, I left to advocate another day. I went home and found my prescriptions from the prior year and current year, I called back and spoke to Kat to share with her my concerns and findings. She found the error, and i stead of apologizing she just took the glasses. The wrong prescription was totally wrong. I left the glasses and came back a few days later to pick them up. Again, I am still having an issue seeing. I shared this again, but was over talked and ignored. I was given the same advice of allowing the eyes to adjust to this situation. After two weeks and same concern I went somewhere else. They were able to find the concern and I spoke with the location and was told I would get a call back. It never happened, time passed and it slipped my mind to follow-up. I did call back months later and was told that although I communicated my concerns of not being able to see, and I was awaiting a response that too much time had passed for them to adjust the prescription. It sucks that I have had to overly communicate, advocate and continuously go back and fourth to get this situation corrected and still no resolve. I shared my concerns at every visit. I brought up the concern and did everything and I am still in a position of losing out money because of this. While I have a good experience at this facility the last two years have been difficult. I am choosing to not patronize going forward. While this is my experience, I share so that you are well informed.

I have never complained about any business before but this is horrible and needs to be heard. Before writing this, I called the specialist I went to to make sure the paperwork they sent to doctor Browns office included the diagnosis "Nuclear Scloerosis" (Cataracts) and it did. When I called Doctor Browns office a few days ago, Sarah said she did not see that on the paperwork... it seems Dr. Brown does not read Eyes well nor does his staff read paperwork correctly. In a nutshell, I have recently learned I have Cataracts, and not from Dr. Brown, my eye doctor who I have had three exams with over the last year and who, according to his website, is supposed to be a specialist at detecting Cataracts. We all make mistakes, this is true, but when I repeatedly went into his office saying that they were missing something because I could not see well, I was told that is was probably allergies and was given eye drops to use for two weeks. I did as I was told but the problem did not go away. When I called the office to tell them so, Sarah, his front desk person, told me "Ms. Flynn, I don't know what to tell you. Dr. Brown says you are fine and we are seeing a lot of allergies right now so that MUST be it"... so I went to a specialist and learned I do indeed have a problem, actually two, that require surgery. Not detecting my Cataracts after three exams, from a doctor who is supposedly a specialist at detecting Cataracts, that's not good....but on top of that being treated by the staff as if I'm crazy because I keep going back telling them there IS something wrong... WOW! when I called Dr. Browns office after my diagnosis from the specialist, she (Sarah) denied seeing my diagnosis of "Nuclear Scloerosis" on the paperwork they sent over..... and told me if I came in the office to express my dissatisfaction she ( Sarah) would call the police...they have a very small office and don't want anyone to overhear how incompetent they are.
