    Unsweetened tea. Nice and strong

We loved this restaurant. It's located in Sawgrass Grove. We were seated promptly out on the patio and our server was so sweet. I ordered unsweetened tea and finally, a tea with some oomph! Awesome. My husband ordered the steak and lobster and declared it perfect. Our 16 yr old ordered the fish and chips and ate every speck of it. I got the pictured salmon cakes that came with a spring salad and mashed potatoes. I have to applaud the blood orange vinegrette dressing. Light and just a bit of tang. It was lovely. The salmon cakes were filling and hot and mashed potatoes were deeeeluxe. Inside, it's dark wood with lots of plaid accents reflecting the Scottish theme. There are lots of unique items on the menu to try and I'd love to go back.

Terrible food experience at the bar. They used to have an excellent homegrown salad. This is no longer the case PLUS menu says $16.95 and they charged $17.95 on the bill. A salad with this price tags should be excellent - not mediocre. Plus, bartender frazzled and not the best to get is to order more drinks and food. McGrady's isn't worth it anymore.

SERVICE: 5 Stars ONION RINGS: 3 STARS SCOTCH EGGS: 4 STARS This is why we went here, having seen this dish on TV, and aware from FB that McGrady made them. They were tasty, although a little pricey at $ 17 AMBIENCE / DECOR: 4 STARS Nice pub like atmosphere inside. AMBIENCE / NOISE: 1.5 STARS From where we sat our ears were assaulted by three separate sources: the unfortunate live singer, perched in the perpetually sunny corner, WVLG from the speakers on the poles outside, and some other feed from the speakers inside the restaurant. The cacophony greatly detracted from the overall experience.

    Salmon on a chopped salad.

Went for a Scottish feel and surely was taken back to a pub in Scotland. The menu had Scottish classics like fish and chips but it was so hot that I decided to go for a chopped salad and for 11.00 added a salmon. It was good not the best salmon but good. The salad had a combination of greens and candied walnuts and cranberries. The dressing was really good. But the star of the dinner was the sticky taffy pudding! It was warm, delicious and the caramel flavors mixed with the soft cake were to die for. Next time I will start with dessert! It was so good I didn't get a chance to take a picture.

First dinner ever at McGrady's as we are new in town. Fantastic look and feel and the food was excellent. Our server Cullen ( a Sheldon doppelgänger " was polite , informed and attentive w/o being intrusive. Amazing beer and Scotch selections. I had the McGrady's red ale and it was very good. Dinner selections included Guinness haddock fish & ships, mussels appetizer with garlic bread was out of sight. Finally I had the Leg of Lamb special which was hot, flavorful and balanced with a perfect touch of fresh mint. I highly recommend this place. Great ambience, crowd, staff and food. Bravo McGrady's!

We liked it. I had the Ruben stuffed mushrooms & risotto. Both had a great flavor. We sat at the bar and had great service. Outside area is cool and looks like a lot of events. We plan to try it again in a few weeks.

So we stopped in at Sawgrass Grove in the Villages yesterday, had a beer at McGrady's Pub. We also had the Chowder and the Bruschetta. We thought that the quality was good, but the quantity was underwhelming. The domestic draft beer was $6 which is very pricey for the Villages. The view of the Southern Oaks golf course is nice.

Huge pretzel enjoyed watching music at Sawgrass.

Went to Sawgrass to listen to some music, wanted an appetizer of some sort. Checked out the to go menu with the nice hostess then ordered the pretzel from the bartender. Here's where the customer service skills are lacking, bartender seemed like it was an effort to take a to go order. It would have been a 4 Star review if he showed some hospitality. The pretzel on the other hand was amazing, huge warm and great dressingon the side.

My husband and I chose to sit outside since it was such a beautiful, less humid day. Our server, Jermaine, was attentive, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered the shrimp tacos, and they were outstanding. The shrimp were plentiful, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The combination of feta, onion, and light seasoning complemented the shrimp without overpowering the flavor. My husband ordered the Big League Meatball Sub, and it was a big hit! The meatballs were flavorful, smothered in marinara sauce, and topped with Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. The toasted roll held together perfectly, making it easy to enjoy every bite. For our side, we chose the Sidewinder Fries. At first, we had to ask where our fries were because we didn't realize the curled potatoes in front of us were them--but wow, they were incredible! The Sidewinder Fries were the best, and we'll definitely be ordering them every time. We're already looking forward to coming back!

This is my favorite hamburger place around. The ingredients are top‑notch. The cheese is real quality -- you can see it in the melt and taste it in every bite. The beef was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My mother‑in‑law absolutely loved the huge piece of fish in the fish and chips. They don't skimp.
