Sister was transferred here from Manteca ER to evaluate whether she needed immediate back surgery…read more Her MRI proved she has multiple issues that are pinching nerves to the point of making her pain unbearable while also making part of her legs weak and numb and almost unable to walk. She was admitted and was given a pretty good regimen of pain medications and steroids to help with the pain and inflammation. Social Services came by and said to tell them if she needed anything before she left. Staff and services provided up to this point were good. For the first two days she was there they said she didn't need surgery right away and it was more of pain management at that point. She was told she was going to be discharged on Monday. Here's where my opinion changed of this hospital. Monday comes and my sister calls me in a panic, crying saying that they scheduled her for surgery on Tuesday and that she didn't even get to ask any clarifying questions or even what procedure they were doing since she had separate issues in her back. The doctor dismissed her questions, including the fact that he didn't see something on the MRI that at least 10 other doctors have seen and said needed to be watched, possibly removed. It is a growth on her L1 that has grown by over a centimeter. He claims he didn't see it so shrugged it off. So, when my sister called me she was crying saying she felt bullied into have a surgery now that wasn't even deemed an emergency (and it was out of network for her insurance, which was also of great financial concern). I told her they couldn't bully her and she has a right to choose which doctor performs any surgery. Once they heard she was not getting surgery, the attitudes of the staff and doctors changed. Social services never came back to assist with her needs, the doctors told her they were going to send her home with pain pills yet they didn't send her home with any prescription. not even a taper dose of oral steroids after days of IV steroids. She was considered a fall risk for obvious reasons, yet NO ONE bothered to have anyone get a wheelchair and roll her downstairs to be picked up. She had to walk while still weak and in pain. They discharged her within 20 minutes of her telling them she didn't want surgery there. It takes me 40 minutes to drive there so she was just wandering trying to find somewhere to sit and wait for me. Before we even got home, the doctor sent over a bill online for her services. first of all, very rude, second of all submit it to insurance, dummy. We aren't paying it. Once they realized they weren't going to be making money off of an out of network non emergency surgery, she was treated like trash which I find highly disturbing.

Which should be concerning to all civilians who come in and get treated at this so called " better quality facility" . They took xray the dr. told me he didn't see anything in his Xray. Well we received his results online from memorial and it stated Hazy bilateral pulmonary reticular interstitial opacities, which are nonspecific but may be seen with interstitial pneumonia in the appropriate clinical setting. On his discharge paperwork they diagnosed him with acute bronchitis only because I told them he's had bronchitis several times this year. So basically it was a waste of time going there . If doctors don't have any answers then who do we go to for answers? I guess we are all better off researching ourselves on Google. All these so called "superior " hospitals are supposed to give better patient care than the other hospitals but apparently they are all the same except you pay more out of pocket for this type of healthcare.

Firstly, the nurses are so sweet, so attentive, and made me feel so welcomed. I'm saying this from someone who did unfortunately have a traumatic c section experience (not the doctors fault, just circumstances). Although all the nurses were amazing I would like to recognize two amazing nurses who really made me feel seen and advocated for me, Nurse Jackie and Nurse Tabitha ( I hope that's how I spell their names). I will definitely always remember them and we're definitely the highlight of my experience. I'd hopefully like to nominate them for a daisy award. I'd also like to give a shout out to how clean the facility felt even the bathrooms.. I didn't have that same experience with my last delivery at another location .The food was decent, I wasn't really hungry during my visit but according to my vistors who did try the food they said it was pretty good. Overall I rate my experience 10/10. Thank you Kaiser Modesto L&D for turning this traumatic birth experience into something that ended up being amazing.

I have gone to member services reported it as well as the administration office to where I have yet to receive a call from lead admi istrative services. So as it goes, it starts at the top. I was prideful going to Kaiser because they were cultural diverse. When you go to pick up medication you have been taking for 30 to 41 years. I believe you know what prescriptions you have and how often you pick up, what special meds do not work etc. Then now they tell you you are not only incorrect, but you input and ordered it wrong. But it was on automatic re order.. for that exact told you slapping the papers doen on counter and saying it sais right here. Hmmmm. Well, guess what they were incorrect and the notes were also in the file, then they say they dont look at the file. So when they ask you if you have any new allergies, they dont check for old allergies? Pathetic gaslighting at your health expense, time, and abusing you as if you made the mistake in front of 50 people waiting in line. Further mire the prescription was placed over a week prior and you called Kaiser to notify them of t by sir mistake. But they abuse you and waste your time as well as stress because they not allow natsassistic unprofessional no manners and people they berate you. I thought this was part of Healthcare? He can say the most insulting comments to a vulnerable patient. You have the right to ask to see another doctor and I do strongly recommend it. I am in the process of filing for the courts to stop Dr. Vyas and his office for even sending my this bill. I have won a previous case with the same exact situation where a judge threatened the clinic and the doctor for sending me a bill even after my insurance covered the visit. These doctors and clinics need to be held accountable and liable for the pain, stress, and damages caused on the patients. À law firm also sent a letter of reinforcement to the clinic that I sued for wrongful and intentional billing. I gave these clinics a chance to clean it up and they have no interest in doing what's right and fixing it. Do not go to Valley Heart Institute, I do not recommend it. The office managers is awful and was an additional problem. Save your time and headache by learning through my experiences.

It has been impossible to get a hold of the clinic and I have been calling the main line for the last week to try and get a hold of someone to verify the information I need. The one voicemail I did get back left a phone number that had been disconnected and did not have an extension number that apparently I was supposed to receive. The corporate number that I have called refuses to give me a direct number to contact my doctor. This is incredibly unprofessional, And this is coming from someone who has worked in the medical field as well as receptionist background. At this point they are withholding medical records and information and I may be seeking legal guidance to escalate the situation.
