I came in as an emergency walk-in in severe tooth pain, visibly distressed, after being told by both the office and my insurance that this location accepted walk-ins and emergencies, first time here. I had already been redirected from another location that was unexpectedly closed in Katy, I drove further out to The Katy Mills location while in pain to be seen. When I arrived, I was met with a complete lack of empathy. The front desk staff, two ladies whom one said she's the manager spoke to me with attitude, showed no urgency, and treated me like an inconvenience rather than a patient in pain. I was asked to complete forms on my phone, which I did quickly, but after submitting them, I was left waiting with no communication even though I was the only person in the lobby while one was on her phone and the other lady on a call When I calmly asked how long it would take to be seen, the situation escalated quickly unnecessarily. Instead of reassuring me or giving me a timeframe, within 1-2 minutes of interacting with them the other lady called the police in which I was shocked for what?. They came out from behind the desk , and start asking me to leave while I was still seeking emergency dental care. Even locked the door at one point and had to let out one patient who was seen. If they have a camera all that I said will be seen I want to be very clear: I did not raise my voice, use inappropriate language, or behaved aggressively. I was in pain and asking for help. I have video of the interaction. I was not disruptive Being treated this way in a healthcare setting especially while vulnerable was deeply distressing. When police arrived, I was told the business had the right to refuse service, with no empathy. As a patient sent here by my insurance, this was shocking never have I experienced something like this before. This experience felt discriminatory, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. No patient, especially someone in visible pain should ever be treated this way or denied care without cause. I strongly caution others seeking emergency or compassionate care I will be filing formal complaints with the dental board and my insurance company.

I went to see Dr. Holland for a consultation and he was gentle and understanding. Although I was only there for a consultation, he asked if he could remove some plague that he noticed during the exam (I had a cleaning at my previous dental office 2 weeks before). I said yes and he removed it painlessly. I returned for a cleaning about 2 months later and he hand scaled my teeth due to the pain I reported from that water shooting demon that was used at my previous dental office. My cleaning was painless for the first time in years! Lastly, he noticed that my bite was off and shaved down my back molar slightly and the problem was solved. I had complained about my bite for years and none of the other providers addressed it. He noticed the problem without me telling him and offered to fix it. This has been the best experience I have ever had as an adult with a dental provider.
