Sure, I could order from Home Depot online and wait or I could buy from Amazon but would have to buy two. I like to purchase just one when trying a product for the first time. I called ahead and they kindly confirmed that they had some on the shelf. I bought it, used it and now have a sparkling clean clothes washer all within a few hours. This chore is done.

I got a call on Friday from the store manager who asked if I wanted the grill assembled as well for no charge. I agreed and on Saturday they rolled up with a nice delivery truck with a lowering ramp with the assembled grill. I did the burn in on Saturday and cooked ribs and chicken on Sunday. Amazing service and the assembly of the grill was great, no scratches or adjustments needed. Very appreciated!

I purchased a pair of Ace…read moreBranded gloves on Saturday morning and came to return them and buy a more robust pair (for more money per pair) as the gloves did not last 3 hours of yard work - they had holes in the glove. The young lady refused to take the gloves back because they were used. I told her I knew that as I was the one who used them. After several verbal exchanges and her picking at the shredded glove, I got upset and called her a blockhead. (Not good by me) She said I had to see a store Manager. I just returned from attempting to return the gloves and buy a better pair, and Austin, the store manager, also refused the return, and I told him I would never be back. He smiled and said goodbye. I guess at $17.00 pair of gloves is worth really ticking off a customer. It's all smiles while buying, but not when you try and return a defective pair of gloves and buy a more expensive pair. I am done shopping at ACE. I want to buy locally, but I guess the cost of acquiring a new customer is less than $17.00. The store will not suffer one bit from my choice, but it is my choice to make. For being a smaller hardware store, I am always amazed that they end up having exactly what I am…read morelooking for. More times than not, I will travel valleywide and lose hope with the thought of "I'll swing by Ace and see if they have it" and every time, this far they have it. The staff are always incredibly helpful and generally assist even when I throw a "it's okay, I appreciate it" out there. For instance, on this trip, the gentleman directed me, I mentioned I took a peek and didn't see if and it was okay that I would cut my loss. He headed over and verified and found what I must have passed several times over. As far as the product? It was would have been offered elsewhere had they had it and at about the same price. In the past, I have been very fortunate to be looking for items that are on superduper clearance. Perhaps one of these days, I'll make this my first stop and spare days wasted with travel and unnecessary purchases that I am unlikely to ever return just based on the distance alone. Fortunately, Paul's is just a few mins walking distance up the street for me. Now, it's time to lock my number in, since I'll be bisiting more often.

It's been almost 2 yrs since my last review and thought it might be good to update. I've continued…read moreto receive great customer service here by everyone that I come in contact with. The 2 notable ones are Tracy and Dennis. Let me start with Dennis first. They remodeled their store and now the fasteners/nuts/bolts area has been expanded and I love this. Most of the time I come it's because I need some fitting that broke or something with something I have and I don't need 100 of them, just 1 or a few. All the Ace Hardwares are perfect for this and I've never NOT found what I needed. Dennis has helped me most of the time when I come, which isn't too frequent, but maybe a few times a year. He is always very patient. Sometimes it's with a project and he offers suggestions. Thank you, Dennis. Tracy is a newer person for me from the past year. I don't remember why I came in, but he was the person to help me. He's retired from his career and just wanted to still work, but not in a high pressured career. We've had some really great conversations. He is very personable and super, super helpful. I needed to fix my dripping shower faucet and asked him for suggestions. He gave me lots of sound advice, which all of them really helped me. Unfortunately this Ace did not have the parts I needed for my particular showers, but the advice he gave was invaluable and saved me hundreds of dollars. I was able to change out the shower spout, handle, shower heads with new stuff and all by myself. This turned out to be fairly easy, so I thought why not to tackle my master bath, that had similar shower fixtures. The master bath was a little trickier, and took a bit longer, but I was able to change all the shower fixtures minus the drains all by myself without incident and everything is working great. I did this back over 3 months ago and everything still works fantastically. Tracy did advise that replacing the drains was a bit more difficult. He didn't say don't do this, but the thought of having to perhaps replace plumbing and the showers did not appeal to me. So, the drains remained. I also wanted to change out the sink faucet in the first bathroom. He talked about the hard water deposits we have and how to replace the faucet. He showed me a tool, a sink wrench, to help me loosen and get into tight spaces. My husband really was the one that went under the sink to do all this. I am grateful. This was a bit more difficult than we had hoped because whomever installed the prior faucet really glued EVERYTHING down well, which required my husband to use a DeWalt cutting tool to get the parts out. Since the first bathroom turned out well, we also did the Master Baths both faucets - replacing them. Thank you, Tracy, for your guidance and direction in this, for caring enough to be specific to empower me/us to do these repairs to our home and saving hundreds in labor and not needing to call out a plumber to do all this. Both Dennis & Tracy are true assets to this Ace Hardware location. Thank you for caring about your customers and going above and beyond every time. God bless you and the rest of the employees here.

Today, I brought my knives in (it's a Wednesday) in the morning and my knives were ready by early afternoon. To sharpen each knife, it's $1.99. Ive been in this store 3 times now and on every visit, everyone working here is very helpful and friendly. A+ customer service and got the services I need! I'll be coming back for sure!

All I wanted was to buy the batteries and leave because I've changed them before but they insisted. First time they installed them backwards so I walked out to the car and walked back in. Then a second guy got involved and he said he's pretty sure there's a piece of paper that went between the batteries since they stack but that made ZERO sense to me! Anyway, they finally got it all back together and we went out and checked and sure enough the fob was good. Now don't take this all the wrong way because they were ALL super friendly and were all really trying to help! I wasn't mad or anything, they were all fun to watch and I enjoyed my visit! Plus the batteries were priced really good AND they installed them after all, that along with the show made it a good time. In addition they had the puffed nuggets with caramel that I used to get at Rock Springs and that made for a perfect day! Upon entering the store, it is very clean and organized, but kind of sparse to what I'm normally used to. When I didn't see what I needed I went to the counter. The old man behind the counter had zero personality and was absolutely no help. Strike that, he did have some personality, he was kind of a jerk. When I've gone to small hardware/craftsman stores in past, the counter guy will make recommendation for another possible store or website that I could try. They are usually quite an interesting character that seem like they could have been in a movie or sitcom as a character actor.
