I am so happy with Mckimmey! My dad is an electrician, but he lives in New York unfortunately. I needed repairs done to my house fast as we were closing in about two weeks. They managed to fit me into their schedule at a reasonable price and quoted me 3-5 hours for the amount of work I needed done (switching some outlets to GFI protection and putting an outlet up near the garage door opener.) My dad said they had a pretty reasonable price and timeline, so I booked it. A few days later, the buyer was being a real stickler on one item we had been going back and forth on and my realtor and I decided it wasn't worth losing the sale over, so I messaged Mckimmey and asked if it could be added to the job for Thursday (messaged on Tuesday afternoon, around 4pm). He got back to me immediately and said it wouldn't be a problem, then just asked for a picture so he could have the right part when they arrived. Fast forward to Thursday, I zip home from work early to meet them at 2. I pull up about 5 to and the truck is already there waiting for me. I run through to show the two guys where everything is and say what needs fixing and they get started right away. They even questioned why I wanted to add the last minute item because it was a demotion to what was already there. I replied that I knew but I wasn't going to lose the sale over it and they agreed and wrote what they did on the receipt so that if it breaks in the future, the buyer can't say that they did something wrong and hurt me or Mckimmey. They actually finished all the work in about one and a half hours and were pleasant and friendly the entire time. I was super pleased that it was half the time I was quoted and could run around to do other stuff I needed to get done! They did two outlets I wasn't even expecting them to do and the guys even let me take pictures of things for my dad to check because he was curious from afar :) Thank you so much, Mckimmey! Had to get a 22' ceiling fan working and went through yelp to find contractor. Nick reached out to me and scheduled appt and Dan was out two hours later. Both were super friendly! Dan arrived but didn't have a ladder that reached high enough, called Nick, then they researched options and called me to reschedule another day with 20' ladder. He worked fast, was meticulous, and didn't upsell at all - he actually did less work than I asked for, because it wasn't necessary. Some of the best service I've ever had! I started by requesting a quote here on Yelp. Even though it was after business hours, I still got an almost immediate response, and was able to setup a date over Yelp. When the electrician showed up (It was Chris I believe), he was quick and to the point. Figured out what the issue was, and fixed it very quickly. It all took maybe 25 minutes.
