My experience with them started with a need for something minor but in a hurry. They are always well stocked with very reasonable pricing, plus the availability to outsource some other services. I prefer the mom and pop shops over the big box for most things, especially when you know what you want, to get in and out, and not deal with crowds, plus you support your own neighbors and community. They always remember your face, even in my case with often long times between visits due to surgeries and mobility issues. Always willing to go the extra mile and make their customer's day better than when they walked in. Services you really can't get at those big box stores!

When I was doing a major remodel I had to visit many home stores, this one just got lost I guess. My recent visit was for a few general items, all of which they had and at decent prices by my reckoning. In fact on one visit I went elsewhere first only to come here for the needed item. But I think what surprised me most was the credit card offer when I went to check out. Sales are rare here so it was an opportunity for me to save a few dollars, $25 to be exact! I probably won't use the credit card much, but who knows, maybe a small home improvement project this spring? In the past I've gotten less decorative home improvement things here, but also some quality floor lamps and I think my medicine cabinet. I've always found the customer service to be good, and if you don't sneak in an exit you will find a greeter able to assist you in most cases. My one negative impression would be their lack of cashiers, they are actively encouraging self checkout. With so many items in inventory it can clog up the process when a few folks are having issues with the register. On the sales floor there does appear to be enough help.

We made it known that we had budgetary limitations and a specific timeframe required for completion of the project- and The Kitchen Wizards were truly there for us when it felt like nobody else was. Our house was built in 1850. Other contractors hemmed and hawed about working on a home of that age and were full of excuses. Milosz and Lukasz, they made it happen! It turns out, The Kitchen Wizards can do a lot more than just kitchens! Our project involved work on a bathroom, a finished attic, a new laundry room, new flooring, plumbing & electrical, paint, carpentry, and placing an all-new kitchen inside the old kitchen's footprint.
