Long line at 4:25PM, before they even started selling tickets for the 5PM session. Yet we were turned away

It is absolutely a waste of time to come here. We were turned away at 3:45PM because the session was full. Then we came again at 4:25, before they even started selling tickets for the 5PM session. Yet we were turned away despite being in the line that early. The staff was terrible - they would never notify the people in the long line that their quota was about to be reached, and when it was, they simply put a sign on the counter and turned back. It's completely waste of time. I won't come again.

Tiki lovers take note - this spot is a lovely respite from the IPAs of the region, no offense We appreciated the rum flight, featuring their own three rums YAY. I ordered the Missionary's downfall, which they make with muddled and strained mint, and it was delicious and refreshing. We dipped into the food menu long enough for a brownie and I do recommend this tasty treat and assume the other food is just as rewarding. As of this writing they did have mugs for sale, priced around $25. Totally recommend a visit!

My friend and I came here to Nui Nui for happy hour. My friend was excited. She liked the decor. We thought it was a fun place. We started off with cocktails ($2.00 off during HH). I got the Original Zombie and she got the Painkiller. They were both strong drinks, and I liked that. I ordered the Cajun Tots, Aloha Bowl, and Saigon Kick Chicken Tenders off the HH menu. She ordered the Big Wave Brussel Sprouts off the HH menu and half size of Mai Tai Salad with a side of grilled shrimp. Food was good, nothing amazing. The Aloha Bowl came with mushy rice, which I'm not a fan of. The chicken tenders were a bit dry. I like the Cajun Tots, but my friend didn't like it as much as I did. I took the leftovers home and put it in the air fryer; so much better. My friend said her salad definitely needed the side of shrimp. But all the food had lots of flavor. It got pretty busy, so service was slow, but staff was very friendly. Prices are more on the pricier side for being happy hour. My drink was still $16, after the $2 off for HH.

Review for North Shore Lagoon Pub: Made reservations. Still had to wait awhile. Lighting is terribly dark. Get that it's a tiki bar, but just a little more lighting would've been nice. Order king pao cauliflower, which was marked as vegan. It was good but heavily breaded and salty. Also was soggy. Was hoping it would be crispy. Mai Thai salad was really good, also marked as vegan. I really Loved the flavor and lightness of it. This place does have great drinks. Ordered a Dark and Stormy, probably one of the best I've had. Space is small. Probably not the best place to bring young kids to eat but they do offer a kids menu which is awesome.

    Pork belly bahn mi ($16.25)

I came here on a Tuesday at around 6:30pm. It was tough finding a parking spot in the summer even though there are tons of spots. Eventually I parked about a 10 minute walk away close to the library. To get to the bar when you walk into the building take the stairs to your right to the second floor. What was also surprising was the view from the bar down to the pool. I loved all the tiki decorations but I also liked that it wasn't as dark as other tiki bars I've been to, but maybe it's more dim later in the night. For drinks I ordered the zombie ($15) which was obviously potent but delicious! My second drink was the jungle bird ($12) which was also a great drink. For food I ordered the pork belly bahn mi ($16.25) which was so good! The pork belly was perfectly cooked and so flavorful, and all the other toppings balanced the fattiness of the pork belly with some freshness and crunch. We also ordered the tokyo tots ($14.25) which was divine. The pork belly lardons give the flavor bomb and the crunch, and the sauces give sweetness and spiciness. Tater tots (and especially tater tots) are my kryptonite so this was the perfect dish for me. They also have happy hour from 3-6pm Monday through Friday which we had originally hoped to make but didn't get here on time. They have some pretty good deals during happy hour so I'll have to make the trip back here someday!

This cozy tiki bar delivers potent cocktails and delicious food. This tropical theme pub is right on Bothell Way road (SR527) and located in the floor overlooking the community pool. The space is decked out in tikis and tropical wood. I especially love the ambient lighting and comfortable booths. The were drinks deliciously strong with a tropical twist. My first drink was the Missionary's Downfall which was a mix of rum, pear brandy, pineapple, lime, and mint. The drink was easily consumed without any issues. My second was The Original Zombie which was also rum based with absinthe, grapefruit, and paradise syrup. Absolutely delicious. The food was equally delightful. I ordered the pork belly banh mi and shishito peppers. The banh was flavorful and pork belly was tender. The shishito peppers were well-seasoned and was the perfect shareable appetizer. Service was attentive and my drinks were delivered promptly. I'm definitely keeping this spot as one of my local go-to for drinks.

I've been a return customer of Tavern on the Square for their outdoor area, but North Shore is a good alternative when sitting outside isn't a priority. The only weird thing about the ambiance is that it overlooks the indoor pool and it's so dark! The food itself is pretty good, and I like the options way more than the other restaurants at McMenamins. The drinks here are STRONG (not a bad thing), and I would especially give a word of caution to the "Zombie" cocktail. Overall though, I would return!

This is the restaurant over the pool at Mcmenamins Anderson School called North Shore Lagoon. very dark and intimate, I was glad I had my ring light for yummy food photos. The menu here is so different from any other Mcmenamins. The thoughtfulness that went in the design is obvious. They also have great mocktaiks which is appreciated! Service was very slow, which is my primary complaint

North Shore Lagoon Pub Got to check it out, it was interesting sitting by the window and being able to look down at the pool. The service was great, our waitress was attentive and kind. She helped with some of the food choices I was contemplating. I got the Hula Fried Rice which was really good with a bit of a spicy kick. The presentation was beautiful but the food was even better. We also got the island slider trio for an appetizer. I ordered the Dark & Stormy and it was my first time having the drink and I was not disappointed! It's definitely a place worth checking out! There are many different bars and things to do!

In town visiting my sister. And came here. Really unique place with different restaurants that you can go eat as well as beers that are extremely tasty! With highly suggest getting a flight of beer if that's your thing. We got happy hour tots the tots are amazing 10 out of 10 would get again. Truffle pizza also was a delicious surprise! When we went it wasn't super busy and it was really delightful! There is a gift shop as well if you wanted to browse and get some thing to take home. They also have a tiki bar that's really unique to go and look at as well as a pool that you can also swim in!

Cute little quaint tiki bar and restaurant overlooking the lagoon pool. Full bar with lots of specialty fun drinks. Dim lighting to set the mood has a great ambiance.

I've been to plenty of craft cocktail bars, but nothing quite like this one. The bartender--who is also the owner--takes mixology to a whole new level. We're talking scientific precision here, using actual lab equipment to craft drinks that taste as incredible as they look. One drink in particular, "garden" completely blew us away. It was unique, balanced, and absolutely delicious--just one of many standout cocktails we tried. Beyond the drinks, the atmosphere was amazing. The bartender was welcoming, generous with his time, and let us sample and explore different flavors. It felt more like a fun experience than just a night out. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality, and the small bites were spot-on. The whole venue had great energy, and I honestly can't say enough good things about it. We're already looking forward to going back.

It's at the corner of one of the buildings. Dark, mid sized interior with some cool neon lights and light up marble pattern bar counter. Not very busy when I went at happy hour/dinner time on a Friday night, but the place is busier later at night on Friday/Saturday during the warmer months. Sometimes they have events and DJs. Sat at the bar and tried out some happy hour specials. Got the Korean sauce wings ($12) and cheese truffle fries ($8). Decent amount of fries, definitely has cheese flavor but not that much truffle oil aroma. I liked the wings which you get 6 per order. They weren't fried, but rather tender and juicy. Sauce was agreeable. Definitely enough food for my dinner. As for the drinks, I got the rosemary mule which is Moscow mule with some rosemary herb. The copper mug they use is good sized. Tasted refreshing although could feel the alcohol afterwards. Also tried a corpse reviver no. 2, which was a little sweet but has a punch. Cocktail prices are not cheap outside of happy hour, in the upper teens. Overall, was glad I tried the place out. Will drop by for happy hour once in a while.

Now for the food - we ordered a large variety of options to share between the four of us - and everything was delicious. We tried the house focaccia with honey lavender butter, sausage rolls, crispy mushrooms, steak frites, burrata, and poutine. I couldn't choose a favorite if I had to. It was especially fun because it was a Canadian and Australian inspired selection, and our friend who we were with is both Canadian and Australian, so it pulled at all the heart strings. We lucked out because we came in later and they got us a table. Next time we'll definitely make a reservation.

The heavenly aroma of freshly prepared food wafted through the air, teasing our senses and building excitement while the cozy decor instantly elevated our mood. With an exceptional selection of wine and drinks, plus captivating indoor and outdoor seating, it seemed every whim was thoughtfully catered to. Despite arriving at 1:00 to a lively crowd, we were seated promptly, thanks to the impeccable and exceptional service. Our server's remarkable attentiveness and expertise set the tone for a truly unforgettable meal, and another staff member exceeded our expectations, sharing delightful stories about all their special events, such as Happy Hour and Wine Wednesday, and inviting us back for dinner. She shared that the biscuits we inquired about were made in-house, a testament to the restaurant's pursuit of excellence. With customer service that inspires and leaves a lasting impression, we can't wait to return and relish the experience once more. Another plus is that Woodinville Whiskey Distillary is 25ft away as they share the same parking lot. We don't frequent Hollywood Tavern as it was our first time, but it was just too easy to drop by for a snack before stopping by the distillary. Found a table in the bar area that was just right with beautiful view of the whiskey bottles lining the window. We got prompt attention and reviewed the menu for the snack. I was about to get fish and chips but was steered toward the Cubano pork sandwich with french fries. My wife got a caesar salad with romaine instead of kale and we decided to try the fried pickles too. No drinks other than water as we had plans afterward. The positives is the location, the atmosphere and they had all the pub fare you would expect. The only thing that dampened the pleasure was everything the fries, the sandwich, the salad, and even the sauces tastes quite salty to me. My wife mentioned to me seeing red edges on the romaine in her salad typically meaning not as fresh as it should have been. Definitely a nice place for beer drinking in the bar or outside on the patio during these springtime days. Not sure of the root cause of the over seasoning, but I'll ask for lighter next time.
