I…read morebrought my cat to Lynn Animal Hospital over several days, and their veterinarian completely missed a very common and life-threatening urinary obstruction. I even pointed out a large, firm mass I could feel in my cat's abdomen, yet they dismissed it, took an X-ray, and still failed to identify the problem. Instead, they incorrectly treated him for "air in the stomach," performed unnecessary procedures, and told me to "wait until the next day" while my cat was rapidly declining. If I had followed their advice, my cat would have died. When I rushed him to VEG Emergency Clinic, the doctors were shocked that Lynn had not identified the problem -- they said it was obvious and should have been caught immediately by any qualified vet. Because of Lynn's negligence, my cat suffered for days and came extremely close to dying. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Please take your pets elsewhere.

Our baby was in such pain and he was not going to get better. As hard as it is to write this as our loss and pain is fresh I must tell you Dr Perl was an angel to us and to our pet. All of us on the kitchen floor, he guided us through everything, honored us saying goodbye and thank you, and most of all carefully and with great respect led our boy home. What remains with us along with terrible grief and wonderful memories is knowing we loved our dog so much that we turned to Dr Perl. There is no substitute for his healing presence in our home to help our boy. It is a testament to his devotion to animals and their humans that Dr Perl runs his practice where we call home.

She needs great care, and that's exactly what Dr. K and her team provide. I went to vet school before switching to human medicine, so I recognize when care is excellent and pricing is fair. No upselling, no nonsense--just kindness, skill, and respect for your pet and your wallet. We found her after a few too many overpriced, underwhelming visits closer to home. Since the practice was sold, one change in particular has made things unnecessarily difficult: prescriptions for outside pharmacies can no longer be sent electronically. I confirmed with my pharmacist at Chewy that they are willing and able to receive electronic prescriptions, but District Vet will not send them. Instead, clients now have to request a written prescription and then coordinate getting it to the pharmacy themselves. In a time when digital prescribing is standard--and when people are already dealing with rising costs and busy schedules--this extra step feels avoidable and inconvenient. It's hard not to feel like this policy discourages clients from using more affordable or preferred outside pharmacy options. I understand that change is part of any business, but it's disappointing when those changes make things harder for long-time clients. I hope the practice reconsiders policies like this and continues to prioritize the convenience and trust of the pet owners who have supported them for years. She put Cagney on medication and suggested we might try acupuncture. Dr. Duffy did the treatments in our home. It made it much easier for my dog and for me since getting Cagney into the car was difficult with her weak back legs. Cagney was especially having trouble with the stairs in our home. She seemed to become more confident with going up and down the steps as her treatments progressed. Dr. Duffy went on leave during the summer and, sadly, we recently learned that Cagney, who is 16 years old, is going into renal failure, so we plan on doing only palliative care for her from now on. Working with Dr. Duffy was a pleasure. She was so sweet with Cagney and not only performed the acupuncture but offered other suggestions for supplements. etc. as well.

I have an extremely old labrador whose limp was become more pronounced--not surprising for a 15-year-old dog. It was painful to watch my dog walk, and although oral pain relievers and liquid glucosamine were helping a bit, after four treatments with Dr Duffy, my dog's painful limp got better--so that now she is walking around the house quite a bit (again, she's 15 years old, so she will never be a marathon runner.) Since the treatments, my dog doesn't look as though she's in pain, and she's been able to handle some stairs again, even some puppy runs in our side yard, that would have been unheard of without the combination of oral pain relief and Dr. Duffy's dry needling and electro-acupunctural treatments. Most importantly, my dog loves Dr. D and the treats she brings along.

On the 4th day, it was " sorry -just someone walked in the morning 5 minutes after the pup was processed and took the pup". She forgot to mention that they are closed to the public in the morning! The Pup was never on their adoption page and the only reason I knew about the pup I wanted is because a kind volunteer told me discreetly, they just got in a very small dog who was still behind closed doors... This said the big dogs... lots of them.
