The vets are super-friendly and the doggie daycare staff is great. I take my dog here a couple of times a week and she loves it.

I wanted them to reach out to Karen due to being quoted things elsewhere; which they told me they did and honored a price nearby but still more than what was quoted twice over the phone. Not an issue it was close. I sat in the waiting room with the door open as they discussed interactions they had with customers and patients coming in and even stated "I wonder how the hamster died. They are usually traumatic deaths" distasteful! I am grieving my pet! I nipped it and asked the tech when she came in to inform me of a price and told her to inform whoever stated hamster deaths are traumatic as my hamsters was not and she just slipped away. I had my hamster cremated and everyone seems to wait to rely information. I dropped her off with a little microfiber rag that I did not want cremated with her but returned to my cat that is grieving the absence of the hamster. I called the next day around 9am after dropping her off the day before to ask them to place the rag with her belongings and return it to me. I was informed A WEEK after she returns it was "destroyed" and at this point I'm doubting it wasn't cremated with my hamster which they told me didn't happen and I DID NOT want done... so they not only misinformed me about my cost for pet cremation, rectified that, overheard things like "the lunatic that came in earlier" talking about another pet owner. I've heard wondering minds speaking out while sitting in a room with my deceased hamster. Then not informed about the microfiber under the day my hamster was returned. I opened the box and to see they missed what I asked to be placed on the name plate and told "our system doesn't allow it" I've had countless 's placed on boxes and sadly just had a rabbit cremated a week prior. Then I'm told "you can call them because we can't do it in our system"... Why wasn't I informed the day of everything prior to my payment being crossed??? I've used agape for several years through vets getting rabbits, cats, dogs, and now my hamster.. I contacted agape directly and they have worked out the issue and stated it should have been placed in the special requests box on their form but with all of the miscommunication and lack of questions they asked directly just alone with the crematory they partner with. I wouldn't trust the vet care information to be provided honest and thoroughly either. These pets are peoples family members. If a business isn't going above and beyond for those it's servicing; I personally will not be willingly supporting this business moving forward.

I have been a longtime client of Huffard Animal Hospital and previously had wonderful experiences…read morewith Dr. Hu and Dr. Grant. I always felt they genuinely cared about my pets. Unfortunately, my last few visits have felt more focused on money and repeat appointments than actually helping my dog. My most recent visit was urgent because my dog had an infected, actively draining elbow hygroma. We were scheduled with Dr. Christians Morales. Throughout the appointment, he repeatedly started sentences with, "It's quite pricey" and "The cost is pretty expensive," even though I never asked about the price. I repeatedly asked for a clear diagnosis, but instead received uncertain explanations, including that my other dog may have bitten him during rough play or that it might not be the hygroma. I left without a clear answer. However, when I later requested the medical notes for insurance, they clearly stated that my dog had infected elbow hygromas. Why was that not explained when I directly asked several times? I understand my dog can be difficult when sensitive areas are touched, but this office repeatedly presents anesthesia as the only option, even for a nail trim, without discussing alternatives such as trazodone. Continually putting a large breed dog under anesthesia should not be treated casually. I also asked how to stop him from licking and scratching the infected area. I was told to put him in a long-sleeved shirt, even though the hygroma had been leaking blood and fluid for days. I was then told to use a cone, which may prevent licking but does not stop him from scratching his elbow. I left without a realistic wound-care plan. He was sent home with pain and infection medication, but his condition has continued to worsen. I was told to return in a week if it did not improve, which would mean yet another costly visit without a clear remedy. While there, I also asked about missing patches of hair that may be allergy-related and a persistent bump on his chin. I was told that was "too much to go over in one appointment" and that I needed to schedule another visit. Three days later, I sent updated photos showing that his elbows were getting worse. It is now the following day, and I still have not received a response. I have since scheduled an appointment with another vet because I still do not have clear answers or an effective treatment plan. I understand veterinary care is expensive, and I do not expect it to be free. My issue is paying hundreds of dollars across multiple visits while leaving without a clear diagnosis, proper guidance, or improvement. I am genuinely disappointed because this was once a veterinary office I trusted completely.

Although very nice and professional-sounding over the phone ahead of my cats and my arrival, when I met him, it was a completely different story. I'm not sure exactly what I did to bother him - when we got to the basement room in his house in which he keeps cats - I began to set up my kitties' things as a convenience to him. But shortly after I left, he called me in a rage, yelled, swore at me, and threatened to put my cats out on the street. I tried to ask what I'd done to make him so mad, but he hung up on me and wouldn't pick up again. When I finally got back to the house shaken, my poor, shy cat had had a bucket of water dumped on her and was crying. Jakob's stepdad helped me pack up my kitties' things and gave me some cash in exchange for some of their food I'd brought over earlier and couldn't find. I could tell he was accustomed to Jakob behaving in this manner and he was nice and apologetic, and gave me his business card. Even so, this was a nightmare of a time, especially considering the reason I needed to board my cats, which was that I needed to immediately evacuate a house that I'd learned was unsafe and wasn't able to bring my cats with me to the place I'd be staying at until I could find a new one. Jakob was aware of this situation and did what he did anyway. Funnily enough, shortly after I posted this review, a bunch of fake, RAVING PRAISE reviews were written about this "business," and they were all in the "Not Recommended" reviews section, because they probably figured out that Jakob himself wrote them (they all said one way or another "JAKOB especially was so awesome." He tries to accomodate all of our requests, which is pretty amazing given how nitpicky our cats are. I never realized this until I had to leave instructions for him... But I digress, Jakob is a great person to have managing your pets. And his knowledge and skills as a vet tech should add an extra level of comfort.
