They offer open shop hours on certain days where you can come in and rent time by the hour. Whether you're just getting started or you've been woodworking for years, they offer classes and have everything you need to learn and build. Just a word about me - I've been working in this industry for 40+ years, I've taught woodworking for 30+ years. I'm on the cusp of retirement, so these days, I take on much smaller jobs. I send most of my clients with larger projects to Legacy, and honestly, they're just about the only company I trust to do the job properly, with respect for your home. They pay keen attention to your needs, and will advise you with their years of expertise. Sure, there are a lot of cabinet shops in town, but there are also a lot of companies doing shoddy work, or worse - disappearing with your deposit. Legacy is NOT that kind of company. I saw one bad review - and that just doesn't make sense. Not a single person I've sent there has anything but stellar comments about the work they produce, whether it's freestanding furniture for a home, built-ins that require tricky installation, or commercial pieces for restaurants, offices, salons and more. They answer their phone, or will get back to you when they're free. Their pricing is very fair and transparent, and better yet - they're just the type of company that you trust coming into your home. (You don't want to hear my nightmare story about hiring a serviceman to clean my sooty fireplace... I'd sooner hire the devil before I'd use that company again.) People who leave a bad review on Yelp, when all the other comments are positive, make me wonder if they're the one with the issue, not the company. As a small business owner, it's frustrating to have a hundred happy clients, yet that one bad review is the one that gets all the attention. He was able to come out a few days later, take measurements and get me a quote. He was also able to source the door and trim which saved me a lot of guesswork. As soon as the doors came in, he reached out to schedule and he had the doors hung within a couple of hours. His attention to detail is what really stood out to me. He was able to source the exact doors, trim and handles I have so it looks like this came installed from the builder. Everything is level and looks great. He was even able to refer me to someone to get the doors painted and that person did an awesome job as well. They got the job done on time, were professional, friendly, courteous, respectful and meticulous with detail and cleanliness. We asked them to remove the foam trim on the balcony and garage doors as well. They did this so efficiently and cleanly and it looks seamless, like that's how it should have looked. I attached a couple photos of the covers they put all around the house including covering the patios, pool and driveway. Not only did they cover the pool, they took time to clean out any debris that fell in the pool! Their cleanliness and attention to detail is just amazing.
