I needed a handyman to replace my kitchen faucet and install floating waterproof vinyl planks over the 30 year old sheet vinyl in my kitchen. Jesse provided a reasonable estimate and was able to schedule right away. He and his helper did a great job on the floor. The faucet replacement was more problematic because he found that the valves were badly corroded and one needed replacing. He installed the faucet fine but needed to return 3 times to stop a resulting leak, I think from the valve replacement. That said, he was always responsive to my messages about the drips. And when he had trouble, he has contractor friends he could call for advice. I give him 5 stars for the floor and 3+ stars for the plumbing. He is also very busy and although he'd always call to let me know he was on the way, it was often a couple of hours after his expected arrival time, so that was frustrating. Jesse is conscientious and eager to do a good job. I plan to use him again (though maybe not for involved plumbing repairs). Jesse gets bonus points for having to deal with a rat that got into my kitchen. And when we needed to move a large and very heavy cabinet outside for the large item curbside pickup, he willingly provided assistance to my (not as young as he used to be) husband and son. Ive had a surprisingly acceptionable service from JN SOLUTIONS. They had finished painting my house exterior in less than 4 days given there were only 2-3 guys during this difficult time of pandemic. Working with JN contractors Left me with a bitter taste and a reminder to always watch and supervise every aspect of the people I hire as a homeowner bring in to do work. That would of course mean missing weeks of work, but in this instance would have yielded me a better result with JN contractors. I hired JN to tile 3 bathrooms, remove and replace carpeting in 3 bedrooms and on stairs, and to paint those same bedrooms, bathrooms and stair hallway. At first all seemed great. Jesse communicated well and seemed to follow up on my requests and questions. The tile and carpet installation seem to be done correctly (I'm no expert). The problems arose when it came to the detail work, and the painting was not done well at all. The wall prep for the painting job was minimal to none. Paint was applied carelessly and went onto curtains that were either not removed to do the job, or placed in the way and got hit accidentally. There are many patches where the old paint color can be seen through. Closet door frames that edge the walls were not taped off and there are splotches and drips of paint on the frames. Doors to bedrooms bathrooms were removed for both the flooring installation and to be repainted. The person applying the paint merely taped off the hardware rather than removing it leaving an inconsistent brush stroke and odd drips here and there. When these doors were finally rehung (took a while since some now needed to be shaved or trimmed at the bottom to accommodate the new flooring) they were hung backwards and did not close. When I tried to schedule time to discuss and take care of these issues I was often rescheduled on ( called at last minute) or merely forgotten. To this day wall paint is not corrected, trims between wall and floor don't look quite right and there are places where trim never was installed. My life was also busy and I was often not around to directly supervise Jessie Nino or his crew. Jessie was always nice and respectful in our communications. I believe he became too big too fast and was hiring workers to do things for him and he was not inspecting their work and managing the quality control of these workers. Live and learn. read more

I gave Jesse five stars because he not only did a great job installing my luxury vinyl planks on my kitchen floors but he is also an honest and hard working guy. When Jesse quoted the job, he quoted me for laying tile. It was cheaper than the previous quote I had gotten from a different contractor so I went with Jesses's quote. Then when Jesse saw the vinyl planks that I chose he immediately changed the quote to a lower price (apparently vinyl planks are easier to install). I am a lady who knows nothing about hiring someone to do my floors ( first time for me) Jesse could have charged me more and I would have taken that price. Jesse texted me and set up a time to come work on a few odd jobs around my house. He pushed back the appointment by two hours, which wasn't a huge deal. He texted me right before the appointment time and said he was half an hour out. An hour later still no show. I sent a few more texts and a call and was ignored. I didn't receive a response until the next morning, I texted again and he called, apologized and said he mixed me up with another client. We set another appointment date. Day of I sent a few texts and was ignored again. 30 minutes AFTER the set appointment t he texted me and told me he'd be an hour and a half late, which by then was too late.
