He sold me 2 rugs -- ONE transaction -- N0T TWO -- was authorized via credit card. At his request to reduce his credit card fees, the total amount agreed upon via credit card was $1,000 -- $2,000 TOTAL cost, NOT $3,000. I was quoted a price of $900 for a runner rug and $1100 for a rectangular rug. The total was split -- half credit card $1,000 and half by check $1,000. However, my card was charged twice at $1,000 each on separate days 10 days apart! AND, my $1,000 check was deposited into their account as well. No second charge was authorized or owed! The account balance was satified by check. I had to change my account # to avoid exposure of possible further charges. Now, Anatolian is declining to recognize their fraudulent charge. Anatolian owes me $1,000 + credit charge interest charges.
