A magical hidden gem, off of Tropicana & Pecos. All the ladies are wonderful here and 2 for sure are from Hawaii and they definitely bring the "Aloha spirit". Very welcoming place for your hand and feet care. The 1st time I got a service was for an Aromatherapy pedicure, and let me tell you the smells alone was so relaxing, the bonus was the massage chair, my technician was Jaelynn and she did a superb job. My feet are ticklish and honestly the care she put into giving a pedicure had me relaxed and my feet tickled a little but not to the point where I had to ask her to stop. Hot stones, a hot towel and a massage, so worth every penny spent. I stand for 8 -9 hours a day working so this was a treat well deserved. My 2nd visit (booked with Jaelynn) was for a regular manicure, I was in dyer need of cuticle care and she took care of my hands and fingers with finesse. I went with gel polish, no full set due to my 9 - 5 job. She had me soak my hand, she did nail care and cuticle care, a sugar scrub and gave me the cutest gel polish with a touch of a hand painted French tip nail. I am so ready for another me day. I also love that I can book ahead, call the shop or reach out to her via IG foe availability and to book my next appointment. I personally recommend Jaelynn, but Kanoe, Rose and Amy are all superb as well. These ladies are top notch and give that 5 star experience.

I highly recommend the volcano pedicure, it makes your feet feel like butter afterwards. On my second visit, I booked a full set with Amy, I was excited to have her work on my nails, since I had seen some of her designs on Instagram, but I was not even expecting the beautiful nails that I walked out with. She really puts extra effort to make you feel great when you walk out, since I had asked for some thing for Halloween, she won the extra mile and used glow in the dark acrylic, and did a nightmare before Christmas design, I could not be happier with them. So if you want a really cool nail designs, definitely book Amy! 10/10 this is my new go to spot.

I have been here probably 3 times in a year. I've tried to give grace and chances but I just can't. I've had gel pedicures that chip in days. So i just recently had a hot stone pedicure with regular polish. The experience was ok but... I'll just leave the picture here. Bummed because I reallllly tried here. But over and over... it's bad. Everytime. She seemed distracted, uninterested and overall just irritated. Even I can do a better paint job. :-/ read more

I was stressing out where to get my nails done until I seen this place on Yelp. Honestly, the service was amazing. Quick to take me in. Aidet took care of me, she did my nails exactly how I like it. Not clean, they use the same towels over and over again, and don't sanitize their tools. Also they use cheap product, and charge a lot, my nails look bumpy and there's little balloons in them. Never again!!! read more

I got charged 85 for a no tip short almond, the worker was so rude and was ignoring me when I tried to talk , and got mad when I asked to fixed details, nails started to lift in a week, I would definitely not recommend it read more

Wow, am I lucky to have found MD Nails at Tropicana!!! The salon is clean, they follow Covid guidelines, have tons of great nail colors and several options for pedicures to treat your feet :) Kenoe and Amy are super talented, work great together, put you at ease and genuinely care about their clients. Helen is a sweetheart who assists the ladies in the shop making sure supplies are ready, appointments are made, phone calls are answered and is quick with a smile that will brighten your day. These ladies are on-time and the price is right so make an appointment because they're schedules fill up fast! Oh and the music is relaxing, it's not loud obnoxious club music that some nail salons accost your ears with...thank you ladies!! read more

My husband surprised me with an appointment here, and once we arrived, I thought maybe I'd treat myself to getting my nails done too. My husband had already booked a package for both of us. I will say they definitely try to upsell bigger packages, even when you already have services booked, and there were added charges that weren't clearly explained unless you asked. My husband originally wanted a basic pedicure, but they convinced him to upgrade to match mine. Fine -- we decided to just enjoy and treat ourselves. My technician told me that gel polish was included with my pedicure, so I agreed to do it. Later, when we received the bill, there was an additional charge for the gel. My husband mentioned that I had been told it was included, but they said it was still extra. Okay, fine. I then asked the same technician if she had time to do my nails. She explained she already had another appointment and would place me with someone else, which I completely understood since it was a last-minute request. I told them I wanted something simple, nothing extravagant. I was quoted a price that seemed different from what was listed on their website, so I politely asked why. She seemed bothered by the question and explained it was because I wanted a certain shape. I said, "Oh okay, I understand." I then asked the difference between two services because they sounded very similar on the menu. She explained it, but then added, "That one is more expensive." Maybe it wasn't intended that way, but the comment felt unnecessary after my husband and I had already spent a good amount on services. I understand this is a high-end salon, and maybe these kinds of charges or questions are normal for their regular clientele, but personally it came across a bit judgmental and uncomfortable. At that point, I simply asked if they could remove what had already been started (just one nail on one finger), because I no longer wanted my nails done. I felt uncomfortable and didn't want to sit through the appointment feeling like I had to prove I could afford to be there. I actually left crying because of how judged the interaction made me feel. Maybe I'm just a tired-looking mom trying to treat herself, but being made to feel judged for asking simple questions really changed the experience for me.

The shop was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere from the moment I walked in. The barber took their time, paid attention to detail, and made sure the haircut was exactly how I wanted it. When I need a barber shop I might give them a chance but it's far from my home. The guys working here were very friendly. I should have asked them how many people think this place is also a speakeasy. It's located inside El Cortez and on the second floor where the original hotel rooms are located.

Absolute blast and amazing way to end an amazing night in Vegas…read more Family vacation 2 older teenagers. Decided they would get a night on the town with a show, dinner while wife and I had our fun. Dinner, show (Absinthe) capping with our stop at the Barbershop. I love whisky/bourbon. I love speakeasys. I love live music. Check, Check, Check. So now it's about 11 pm after dinner and the show and the walk. Passed the ski lodge speakeasy with just a few people waiting. Got to barbershop and the line was 20 deep. Ruh Roh. It did end up being 40 minutes wait but we made friends in line (ended up all hanging out inside). We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.
