The name of this place says it all... Runaway! I walked in to get only my feet and hands painted with gel. No pedicure or manicure because I had already took care of it at home. The girls were friendly but they overcharged and I didn't even get a nail polish nor did my sister but they didn't even ask and when I paid I stated that I was upset with how much they charged. My experience was similar to the last review someone posted. They could've offered to do a nail polish when I complained or a discount. I paid $60 for both with $35 for myself because I had gel polish taken off and what should have been regular manicure. Before I left, they failed to mention that they have a 20% discount for new clients which I saw outside in the parking lot. I hate giving bad reviews and typically like going to my SW nail salons because of the service and aesthetics but I am giving this place 2 stars-- one bc they were nice, another bc they weren't rough and did not hurt doing my nails as someone who rush through the process. I usually don't leave a review but this needs to be addressed. My nails popped off like there was no glue. Didn't even last a week! The service I requested was a manicure and acrylic with gel. There was still so much skin left on my nail. I had to keep telling them to clean it. It looks horrible than adding the acrylic look like big bulges lumps. I had to say something to flatten it out to look more natural. I hate nitpicking but for someone that has two years of experience feels a lot less than that just sad that I don't have nails for Christmas now I will not be coming back here. Horrible place and horrible customer service. They don't how to do acrylic toenails. Came in here wanting acrylic on my two big toes, one which needed a bit of reconstructing. The original guy passed me off to someone else. I was asked if I wanted a tip or over lay AFTER taking a look at the toenails. I said I didn't know, they would know best. The guy put a tip on which obviously didn't cover the whole nail and expected me to be ok with having HALF of an acrylic toenail. After asking him if that's how he was leaving it and him saying YES I told him I didn't want it like that. He half ass took the acrylic off and walked out of the salon. The original guy came back and filed down the remaining acrylic and didn't even complete the job. Didn't do an overlay or even tried to fix it whatsoever!!! He didn't know how to do acrylic toenails. Upon hearing about the change i was disappointed, but after reading some reviews i decided to give it a shot. Even before arriving, i had very fast and polite service when making the appointment through the phone with the owner, Jimmy. When i arrived, i was greeted quickly and kindly as well. I got the runway gel pedi and a full set gel mani, although it took much longer than usual, my tech was very kind and made sure i liked every step. Jimmy was still involved in the service even though he wasn't doing my nails, making sure to ask if everything was going well throughout the appointment. This is my new nail salon!!! I called in for an appointment (same day). They had one slot available for a pedicure. As soon as i arrived they had me wash my hands and then sit in the massage chair which had dividers between them for social distancing. Very comfortable ambience. I love the plants everywhere. & the best part... Uncle hooked my feet up. Lord knows i needed a pedicure. And i loved how he took care of my toes and how delicate he was. I made an appointment Trent for a pedicure and a fill here. My pedicure was awful. They didn't remove any calluses, barely any massage, didn't push the cuticles back, nothing and I should have said something when I realized half way through that the person doing it was the receptionist. She finished and had someone else come paint then and my feet have been ITCHING AND ON FIRE ever since. It's so painful I can't even describe it. I didn't wait to get my fill I left immediately. After putting on one coat of nail polish, we were told that we had to pay before they were done with the service. Immediately the guy went to open my purse to take my wallet out and then proceeded to take my card out for payment. All without my permission! On top of my regular manicure, this service comes with a lavender scented exfoliating scrub, mud masque, and massage oil for your arms and hands. My nail tech (Aun) was very sweet and meticulous in her work, and made sure to give me a perfect manicure (even correcting a nail after I smudged it against my finger). The nail salon is super clean and smells amazing from the moment you walk in. Everyone is wearing masks, and every customer is asked to wash their hands before a service. I was nervous to try a new place because when you randomly walk into a nail salon, you always get passed off to the grandma that can't see good anymore and is slower than molasses ‍. However, I walked in, and a beautiful young lady named Nikki said she would take me right away. I needed a gel manicure, and I showed her that my thumb nail was tearing. She put a thin layer of acrylic over my thumb that blends perfectly with the other nails. The previous place I was going to never seemed to understand how I like my nails... they looked completely different every time I went! Nikki was unbelievably fast, and they came out perfect! Had my first experience here today. Greeted by Jimmy at the front door and prompted to wash my hands, I appreciate that everyone was masked and taking precautions as the city has just opened up recently. Ahn took care of me, I had the Runway pedicure which was amazing. The sugar scrub (which was in individual use containers for safety) felt amazing as did the mask that came after. My legs feel so good right now. I really appreciated that their tools were in sterilized packaging too, and the tub basins were lined in one time use plastic as well. The salon was very clean, my friend who went with me even commented on the cleanliness of the bathroom which can be a telling signal. I also really appreciated Ahn's work on my fingernails. I'm a notorious nail biter with tons of ragged hangnails and she took her time and cleaned up all the nastiness around my nail, I've avoided getting a manicure for years because of those issues but now my nails and fingers look the best they have in so long. This was the worst experience I've ever had in my actual entire life. I went to get my nails done nothing out of the usual ...I had been to this place before. I noticed that the girl doing my nails was rushing and continuously adding layer after layer of dip after I had asked her why she was adding more. I told her I was uncomfortable again, and she continued to get angry with me, and then, in fact, asked her uncle to come out and take my dip off. They left me with this as the end result, and ended up calling security where the security guard told me that this was the fifth person that this had been happening to this week. I got overcharged here. I walked in last night for a gel fill, and looked on their site first and saw that they charged $35 + $3 for medium length. When she finished she asked me if I was paying cash or card and I had both a $50 and a card on me, but I told her cash because I know nail businesses prefer cash. Then she said "okay your price will be.." and took out a pen and wrote $50 on a piece of paper. I asked her if it was supposed to be $38 and she started explaining because she had to cut down my nails and shape them it was an extra fee. They were too long before but the main reason I asked her to cut them to (specifically asked for medium length) was because I saw the prices before hand and didn't want to pay an extra $6 for long instead of $3 for medium. I've never been charged a fee to trim nails before a fill. She also said something about next time I come back it being less, but I'm going back to my regular salon Nevada Nails, because the original full set there was only $60 but I even paid $50 because they gave me a $10 promotional discount. I didn't argue just paid her the $50 because she did a good job and I was wanting to tip her anyways and I'm sure she just pocketed them extra and that it didn't actually go to the salon. It just doesn't feel good walking away feeling like someone ripped you off. read more
