My problem is that they said they offered care, but really the only thing they did is that they initially took my vitals, and then the doctor came to see me to only say that they don't have the necessary equipment and she sent me off to a specific hospital (either the same owner/group or her friend). Our medical care system is a scam as we know and this is another proof. Not only is our Health insurance highway robbery but so are the facilities. I called the facility before going over to get my suture removal and was quoted $180.00 with code 15853. This fee was with insurance but if I didn't have insurance it would be $350.00. I then called my insurance co and they confirmed that I would pay the $180 to the facility and that was my cost. I later recieved a bill from MD NOW for additional charges stating that my insurance reflected that I needed to pay an additional amount. The bill they sent my insurance co was $520.00 instead of $350.00 as stated to me. So at the end of the day they scheme behind our backs. Once again... its a scam. Their fees are $350 for my service but they charge the insurance co. more money and then they get to request more money from the patients. Who is the liar? read more

I'm not sure why the reviews are bad. It's very clean in here, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the people who work here are very kind[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and I was seen quickly. Once I got back there they ran a test and even gave me medicine on site and wrote me a prescription. Only $180 for a visit (out of pocket) to be seen, and then of course extra of you get things done. The front desk person is unprofessional, I've waited over 2hours and 15min to be taken inside when we were told the wait is 30 minutes at arrival then they've made me wait 25min so far in the room for the DR to come see me!!! Went to the clinic with severe abdominal pain nausea headache constipation etc - The medical assistant gave me a cup for a urine sample - Doctor came in for 5 minutes - and diagnosed a bladder infection - [[HIGHLIGHT]]I tried to tell him that I did not feel I had that since the symptoms where more related to my digestive tract (at least I felt that) - he was very dismissive and sent me back with a strong antibiotic[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - Guess what - after 4 days of taking the antibiotic - and still with no relieve - I just got a phone call from the clinic saying that there had been a mistake - that they just got the results back and that there was no infection ! To go back again (yeah right) for another diagnosis -ahh - about the antibiotic I was told to toss it ! WTF - what type of medical facility is this ?? I came here August 23 for a nagging (and still happening) pain in my shoulder..you know mid 40's and trying to work out after gyms were closed for 2 months back in July as if I was in my 20's. The medical personnel (Dr. Yoo and the nurse) were really attentive and detailed in my checkup. Dr. Yoo found the inflamed area and had the idea that it was "an issue". He prescribed me pain killers and cortisone, as well as an MRI to see why this issue was ongoing. Why only 3 stars then? Well the issue stems from their front office and sending records to the insurance company. The rep I spoke with at the insurance even tried contacting their office various times on a conference call with me, and due to the long on-hold times could not. I also tried to order medical records through their online portal and to this day have no confirmation whether they were sent. Today I called the insurance company and found out the procedure was denied, even the appeal for reimbursal. I feel if maybe MD Now had been more communicative in sending documentation I would have gotten a return on investment from my insurance premiums. I had gone to this MD Now before for minor issues and have otherwise had good service. In closing, I'll say that if you have a major medical issue that requires insurance paperwork consider another provider. read more

The worse! The front desk staff proceeded to take my insurance information just to tell me that they could not verify the insurance and proceeded to collect $40. All seemed to be a scam, and then let me wait for over one and a half hour because the front desk staff did not keep track of who came in and out. This is a business that does not represent healthcare the way healthcare aims to deliver to patients in need. I went with my son at the one located at 4001 SW 72nd Ave, the service there is horrible, I paid $30 they request then i received a invoice from insurance that I owe the $30, on the invoice said that insurance paid them , then I called left a message, a lady called me back telling me that insurance declined the service , she was crazy , they were charging me what i already paid them . When we left after service they didn't even gave us the visit resume , no papers at all. My son had covid no medicine at all . They charge you before seeing a doctor . I'd like to leave a review specifically for Brionna, who was working at the front desk during my visit. (My medical needs were minor and the service in that regard was meh, fine-but Brionna was exceptional and so these 5 stars are for her!) Brionna was kind, warm, and patient, which we ALL know so many administrative staff at medical offices are not. So what a wonderful surprise, and all this while she was obviously managing a ton. The MD Now check-in & billing system seems wildly overcomplicated (many steps and a lot go juggling between people) and she was handling it with grace. People who were coming in were sometime upset, confused, or irritated, but she was so genuinely warm and kind to every person, regardless of how they came in. It warmed my heart to see. She obviously has a huge heart and having someone like that on board is an enormous asset for a company. I will start by saying I got the quality of care that I needed, and resolved my issues, but I had some things to note. The first time I went, the man at the front desk asked me to dinner while he was holding my form with all my personal information and the second time I went the nurse blew out my vein and I got a hematoma the size of a golf ball and she did not mention it to me, or provide instructions of what to do next. read more

Based on all the negative reviews I decided to call them first to make sure they were able to take a X-ray before heading over there. I called 5 times after 8am and no one answered. They are supposedly open from 8-4pm on Sundays. I finally told the call center the issue I was having and he tried calling them 3 times too with no luck. He said he'd open up a ticket so they would answer him and he'd call me so he would merge the calls. I never heard back from anyone! I went to Baptist Health. End of story. Unfortunately I have to agree with a lot of these reviews. While the staff was nice, I felt some professionalism is lacking. Like.. meh it could be this or meh, it could be that. There's a lot going around, your illness could be anything. What kind of bothered me is the doctor didn't even introduce himself when he walked in??? Not wearing anything to signify he is a doctor either. More like hi what's going on? It's not busy here... you didn't wanna even check my chart? Asking me exactly what the girl taking vitals already asked. Shoot, she did most of the work. Given I know nurses do a lot anyways. I had been having hives due to an allergy to something for a few days, came here on Saturday morning and was seen immediately. Everyone was friendly. I assumed I'd be getting a prescription for steroids and be out, but I was told I'd be getting a couple of shots in my backside. I'm not great with needles even after so many shots in my life. The first shot burned so badly, like it wasn't normal, and I told her. Once it was done, I got dizzy, numbness in the lips, bright vision, and had to sit. I overheard her telling someone that the needle gauge was too large and who was responsible for ordering the correct one? What I heard was that nobody is responsible. And that's why I got such a painful stick. After sitting, I tried to get up and walk outside, and I had to sit on the ground. My boyfriend had to pick me up because I walked. I had a limp from the painful needle and was too dizzy to walk. I realize this isn't MD Now's fault, but it tarnished the experience and a smaller needle would've been better. read more

I can't see well and they made me scan a bar code to register.. their WiFi wasn't working and the front desk told me to connect to Starbucks next door to send medical and confidential information. Seeing the doctor was not a problem. , He called in an eyedrop prescription for me. I had a very severe reaction to Ofloaxcin. I called back to have a substitute prescription called in. The receptionist told me he was going to do it, but he never did. I called back when I went to CVS to pick it up and it was not there. Since the same doctor wasn't there, another doctor in the office said he would have to see me. Another $45 and two days lost suffering. At this point, I'm going to a specialist. My wife wasn't feeling well and living in Brickell, the Urgent care was a convenient option for us. I wasn't sure about coming in due to the poor reviews on Yelp but found that the reviews are a bit better on Google so I decided to go ahead and come in. Overall, the experience was fine. We checked in and filled out her info using a tablet and after a few minutes were brought to the back and into a curtained patient area. A nurse took her vitals and a doctor came in 5 minutes or so later. Overall, it took about 20 minutes or so from checking in to seeing the doctor. The doctor ran some tests to figure out what my wife was dealing with and prescribed some medicine. There wasn't much doctor / patient interaction nor any instructions on how to handle what she was dealing with besides for the prescriptions. Overall, the experience was fine. Nothing special but we got what we needed quickly. read more

I went on Sunday waited about an hour.I took my 8 year daughter as she was complaining of shortness of breath and fever. The staff is ok but the doctor was rude and didn't seen to care. Three days before I had vaccinated my daughter and he just said " all tiose symptoms are due to the vaccine and that kids dont need to be vaccinated " As a doctor he needs to keep his own opinions to himself. I had been sick for several days and wasn't sure if it was covid, flu or bronchitis. I was immediately greeted by Sylvia D at the reception desk and she was very pleasant. I was then taken back to the exam room. The nurse/PA was very thorough and knowledgeable and tested me for covid and the flu. Dr Pena came in and was attentive and knowledgeable and turns out it's bronchitis. I was glad I went and relieved neither covid or the flu. I have now called them twice asking if they have the ABILITY to help me. They said yes both times. One was mostly an emergency and the other was my baby having an allergy attack..... BOTH times I called they said come in we are ready!! Then I get there and they tell me they do not have the equipment to help either case.... I understand liability of turning someone down.... BUT you should not lie to someone who needs help. They have wasted valuable time that could have been life or death. Both times nothing was done for me and both times they charged my insurance... My prescriptions were not sent over, no directions for care were given for my burn and I have to physically go into the office to get my prescription now because they are not answering the phone. I came on a weekday during rush hour, and they were still able to take me within 15 minutes very efficiently. My physician, Dr. Danielle Robla, was the most personable doctor I have seen in Miami to date. She was so kind, compassionate, and understanding of my situation. She made me feel as if I was speaking to a very knowledgeable friend, and I was so appreciative of her making me feel heard. Told me he will give me some ointment - that was 20 minutes ago, and he has yet to return. Overall i have been here for an hour.
