I have insurance, but I do not have a primary care physician IRL. I use my insurer's virtual care option and it works for 99% of the issues I have. This week, however, I had an ear infection that needed in person attention. MD Now is "in network" and available for the low, low /s/ co-pay of $75. I was truly miserable, so off I went. I tried to do the on line check in to "save" time but lo and behold... they had an appointment available immediately, so they had called my name while I was still en route to their location. Not a problem, there was only 1 person in front of me when I arrived. Wait time - less than 10 minutes. I met with both a doctor and a nurse, got diagnosed, got an ear lavage (DO NOT try that at home, folks!) and got a prescription for antibiotics and ear drops. Total round trip time, including stopping at CVS to pick up the meds, was 2 hours. I had been dizzy, ill and without hearing in one ear for a week. A quick trip here and all of my problems were solved! I felt about 10 pounds lighter exiting this place (that could have been the weight of all of the gunk they blasted out of my ear!). The only negative was the front desk staff was a little brusque, especially considering that most customers are not going to be operating at full capacity, but honestly, most of the interaction I had was with the medical personnel, who were proficient and caring. read more

8/2025 I went to MD now, I used a card to pay and checked off D0 NOT SAVE PAYMENT. The card I use for medical was being replaced, I had not received it. In November, I went in with the flu, I used my the card I always use for medical. On 11/8/2025 I went again. I paid my copay. In April 2026, they charged the card I said do not save to, saying I pressed self pay and owed $80. I called, told them I was insured, and did not use self pay. I also told them I did not authorize them to use that card. They did not bill me, they just charged my card. I disputed it with them and the card. They charged me in May, June and July for that same charge. It went from $80 to $160, the $240. I disputed it closed the card because calling them did not stop the fraudulent billing. I just received a bill for that same date now $240, my insurance covered the rest... So why are they charging me for self pay, the. Doubling and tripling the bill every month? Filed a complaint with the BBB and the medical association. Check your credit cards carefully, months after you there. read more

If I could leave less than 1 star I would because this place is terrible and has no regard or respect for your time or the pain your child is in. The first thing I did when I walked in was asked if they could see my 2 year old who has a UTI. They told me yes. So I waited to be seen. Once I was taken in by the assistant he weighed my daughter and took us to a room. Where it was very dirty and crumbs and cookies on the floor from the previous patient I'm assuming. I explained to him what my daughter had and then I told him she's 2 and will need the bag they tape to her vagina to catch her pee since she's a 2 year old toddler that doesn't understand to pee in a cup. He left to go do I don't know what. As I was waiting and waiting and waiting I opened the door to find them all on their cellphones at the desk just hanging out. When I asked them hello is anyone going to help me the this blonde lady was like oh we don't have the bag so she will have to pee in a cup. I was pissed off because why would you have me wait and claim that you can see my daughter when clearly you can't. She advised me to go to the bathroom and try and get her to pee in the cup and obviously that didn't work. When I asked why wouldn't anyone at the front desk let me know that she would not be able to be helped they all looked at me like I had 7 heads. This place is trash and go to a real doctor because this place is not a real clinic. Do NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. When I told them I don't want my insurance to be charged since they didn't do anything they wouldn't provide me with a managers email or nothing they stated that all they had was the managers personal phone number and they couldn't give me that because he's on vacation. The two girls at the front desk are IDIOTS and don't know how to do their jobs. This place is a crap honestly, the receptionist was one with the short hair, uninformed and disinterested! They took a long time to attend to me and to give me information. I was waiting for 3 hours to be treated for when they treated me. The doctor didn't even know how to tell me what I had. She sent me antibiotics for a pharmacy that they didn't even ask me and then I had to go back to have it changed and the same receptionist was still with her shitty mood and her face that she didn't want to work there! Telling me that he had to give me a paper for the new pharmacy as if they didn't have paper to send it electronically, I sat down for about 45 more minutes to wait for the doctor to change it! For total that another receptionist came and told me that I didn't have to have the paper because they had it electronically when the short-haired one didn't know how to tell me anything and only left me waiting for pleasure! I may be dying that I will never return to that place again! Start by giving a good attitude to the receptionists who are the first that the patient sees and who are ahead. Went to MD Now North Miami last Sept for help with an illness I was asked to complete forms - all the personal info: name, phone, mailing address, insurance, etc - which I filled out completely and accurately I was given a co-pay amount which I paid in full Before being seen Fast forward several months and I receive a call from Collection Agent on behalf of MD Now saying I owe about $30 and change I called MD Now and informed that I NEVER received any bill, asked to confirm my mailing address b/c bill was returned to them. I did and was told basically "Oh, WE FORGOT to include Your unit number" and said they would resend Never Received the Bill but several more calls from their collection agent!!! I called MD Now again snd again requested bill and confirmed mailing address and again told they would send to me... Still no bill but nonstop HARASSMENT from MD Now collections agent They are obviously Too Stupid to figure out how to mail a patient a bill and put patient in collections (in stead of picking up phone themselves)!!! Run....Service is decent at first. Follow through, empathy, and assistance from the doctors is nonexistent. I recently had two visits. They lowered the antibiotic treatment we agreed upon. I didn't get better and had to go back. They decided what I had was viral, and prescribed a backup of stronger antibiotics if I didn't get better in three days with the steroids and other meds. Dr. Andy sent my meds to the wrong pharmacy which was closed and I couldn't get my meds until the following day. Despite assuring that he sent it to the specific address I kept confirming. I finally got the meds and on day 4 I wasn't better. Pharmacy said they didn't have the antibiotics. They tried calling and nothing. I tried calling and nothing. I finally went to the North Miami location again on day 5. They had cancelled the antibiotics that same night that they saw me because it was viral. I had already finished their treatment plan and refused to resend the antibiotics without yet another visit. I refused and demanded to speak with the doctor which they refused. They said they'd pass on my information to the office manager. It's been 6 days and nothing. They don't mind their patients being ill or if they get better or not. There is no empathy or care here. Avoid this location and find somewhere else if you can. It's downright shameful read more

I took my son here yesterday and didn't look at the reviews until we were in the waiting room, so at first I was thinking "oh boy, hope it's not that bad". Was pleasantly surprised - intake was very smooth; they looked up my insurance even though I didn't have the card. Doctor and other staff was pleasant - tested my son for everything quickly and we were out in a little over an hour. Would definitely return. The worst service ever. I kindly asked the nurse if she had any recommendations to help the lungs heal after smoking. She said the lungs don't heal, that I should quit (yes correct) but that the lungs will not get better. I don't believe that is true. I've been to this location of MD Now a few times now for different types of visits - and each time is always a great experience! This MD Now is located near the corner of 123rd Street and Biscayne Blvd. in a large strip mall with plenty of free parking out front. When you enter the office, they have a large waiting area that never is very busy. The office staff is always very friendly and hospitable and the waiting area is always spotless and clean. I went to the office recently for a workers comp visit- so the paperwork took a little longer than normal, but the office staff made it as easy as possible on me. After the paperwork was completed, the triage employee brought me back and was so lovely, she was so sweet and courteous, I was immediately relaxed when I was brought back. She then brought me to the exam room and minutes later Dr. Berry came and greeted me and performed my exam. Dr. Berry was extremely knowledgeable and courteous and immediately was able to hone in on the problem. He had the exam completed in less than 10 minutes and completed the rest of the paperwork for me and had me on my way. I want to say what a pleasure it is to continue to come to this location- they really do an amazing job of hiring great staff members and having customers in and out in a timely manner (all while being courteous and friendly). It was very disturbing to find out that an individual's health is less important than the physician on duties understanding of MD now urgent Care's knowledge of operations. I was ordered to undergo a series of injections by my physician. This involved three injections. One per week for three consecutive weeks. The first one was administered at MD now urgent Care. When it came time for the second injection. The physician on duty refused. Healthcare should be the first priority here. Consistency should be the second. Not someone's personal feelings. read more

She also said they can't do anything, so if that's the case what am I getting charged? At least they can give antibiotics bc I cannot swallow nor talk. I have never left a negative review before and I have had several bad experiences with places like this in Miami, but this place really takes the cake. I checked in around 11 am this morning and received a text saying my waiting time would be around an hour. I only needed a TB test but understood that places like this get busy. I had to get something done and left for half and hour to receive a call saying I would have to pay before they could bring me back and would then be put back on the waiting list (this was never addressed when I first did the paperwork otherwise I would have been fine with it) I then waited for an hour in a room that had to be at least 80+ degrees for them to finally bring me back and tell me they ran out of tests. I wasted almost 2 hours of my time just for them to tell me they couldn't actually do the test. The lack of communication and level of incompetence was unbelievable. Truly disappointed and felt unsafe in the medical facility. The staff was absolutely atrocious, after quickly seeing the doctor who ordered a flu test, I waited 45 minutes in the small doctors office for a nurse to arrive. I became claustrophobic, open the door and asked the nurse if I could leave the door cracked while I waited. By this time, I'm clocking in an hour wait time on a Sunday morning at 10 am. With out any compassion, or interest in learning more about my concerns the nurse slams the door. I open the door, she slammed it again. An hour wait to determine a ppd test. Ridiculous. It only takes a few minutes to examine the site and record the results. I had to get the skin test & interpretation done at different locations. The first location there was a 3 hour wait. They also make you do a physical exam to scam you out of more money. It's not standard anywhere else to get an exam. read more

I have to knock down two stars, because yes I have experienced better at this location. However, since I last has to use them I feel there's been a drop-off in medical talent. I'm not sure if they are just using first-year doctors, or they're just in a hurry because I went at 7PM on a weekday. However, they do list as being open until 8PM; it would be like a restaurant serving me a lukewarm dish because I show up an hour before closing or because they were training wait staff. At least the nurse who took my vitals first was pleasant. I went two Fridays back because of a bad cold, and I felt like I was the doctor requesting the tests I had read off one of the online medical sites for the symptoms I had. Not to go all HIPPA on my review, but if someone has had two weeks worth of flu symptoms, wouldn't it make sense to do a test for that or chest x-ray? They didn't even do a callback two days later like they did before. Given that my copayment is the same whether here or a "pineapple"-affiliated urgent care, I think my choice is clear next time I get sick. It's like that choice between a high end steak place on the beach vs a walk-up fast food in front of the Omni. read more

Dr. Dungan who last saw me listened to me and didn't assume he knew my body more than I do (as many male Dr's I've had to explain female issues to in the past). Really disappointed after going in with an illness, second visit. After waiting over an hour I was seen and prescribed meds. For backgroundI am without a car, there is a hurricane today, and the only pharmacy I can walk to is almost a 40 minute walk. The doctor told me to fill the prescription myself (bringing a print-out). I kindly asked him to please call in the prescription when he had a chance, as that is what MD Now typically does (as does any doctor's office!). I am working today and cannot afford to wait at the pharmacy for the prescription to be filled. He said he would call the prescription in. 4 hours later, I followed up with CVS and they had no record of the prescription. I called MD Now again, and they claimed the system was down (a new development). They claimed to have faxed it in, but no one called to explain this. I called CVS again, nothing was faxed in (this CVS is always phenomenal, responsive and on top of things). Woman at the front desk, Tenisha, lied about the prescription being faxed in, made condescending comments as to how I could have filled the prescription myself to avoid these issues, made condescending comments as to how I could take public transport or Uber to avoid walking in a torrential downpour during a hurricane, and was otherwise unprofessional and rude (particularly given how stressful it is for someone sick to try to get healthy while working). The whole reason to pay $50 out of pocket for urgent care is to get healthy, such an unnecessarily stressful situation! read more

Im not sure why some people leave low rating for this place and try to ruin its reputation. The place is clean, no waiting time, no misery of watching suffering patients on a long line of ER. Just walk in, professionally check in and move on to nurse and doctor. They have xray machine and results are instant. The doctor who helped me has a ton of prior experience working in ERs. I can't be happier to have this in my home area and not going to ER ever again unless something happens outside of this urgent care center hours. My insurance co-pay was only $15. If your insurance is no accepted or has a high co-pay, it seems like it is your insurance policy issue, not this medical center issue. read more

I arrived here with a power tool injury. The waiting area staff was nice and the wait time was fine. The attending PA-after taking my vitals etc.-escorted me to the procedure room where I waited for at least 20 minutes. No prob, I assumed the doctor and PA were busy with other patients. When I walked out to see what was happening, I saw the doctor and PA at their respective computers casually typing. Visibly annoyed, I proceeded to walk out. Another NON-ATTENDING assistant asked if I was OK and why I was leaving. To add insult to injury (literally!!), the doctor and attending PA FINALLY looked up, but didn't feign interest despite the fact I was left in the room with what seemed to be paraphernalia for stitches. I don't even know where to start reviewing the negligence at this establishment. If I could I would give them 0 stars, the service was so appalling! I went to see them last Friday with fever, chills and body aches, which I suspected was dengue fever, as I was just returning from Thailand. The doctor saw we rather quickly, took my blood, tested me for Flu, which I didn't have, gave me an antibiotic and told me to take Tylenol. I was promised my test results for Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya as well as the rest of the blood test by Tuesday. Although I started feeling a bit better I was still feeling bad on Monday and I called to see if my results had already come in, and I was told they hadn't. I asked if they could be expedited and was told to call Quest directly. Quest labs said that the results were coming in and that they sent them through as soon as they came in. So I called again on Tuesday and I was told that they were still not there. I asked for them to give me at least some blood results even if the specific virus tests were not available, and was told again that they didn't have the results. After pressuring them they said they had preliminary results and not final ones. I asked them to please have a doctor look at those and tell me what was happening with me and they promised they would. But nothing happened. Nobody ever called back. I called 3-4 times that day and never got to speak to a doctor. On Wednesday I called again. Still no result on dengue and again I was told no results whatsoever had come in. I pleaded and begged to speak to a doctor re the preliminary results and was told that that's impossible. I cried and pleaded with them more and finally after a 30 minute wait I spoke to a doctor. He told me that I should consider going to ER as some of my levels were very low. Especially sodium. 5 days afterwards they finally tell me to go to ER!!???? Crazy! Once I got to the ER the doctor there told me that these people should have immediately sent me the ER with sodium levels so low!! On top of that my platelets were low, my liver enzymes were high and I was in pretty bad shape! I stayed in ER that day and they even kept me overnight for observation. They gave me saline solution and monitored my blood values over the next 24 hours, and then released me on Thursday. Today, Friday, 1 week after the test, I called again as I finally got the complete results - and it turns out they weren't able to test for dengue in the first place as they don't have the necessary equipment to draw blood to be able to test for it within the first 5 days of the symptoms starting. If they would've told me that last Friday I would've gone to the ER directly. This place is totally ridiculous and they play with the health and life of sick people. If I'd have the energy I'd sue them! Thankfully l found my way to the ER at Mt Sinai in the end and they took extremely good care of me. They also took a blood sample and I hope to know soon if I had Dengue or not. Stay away from this place at ALL COST if you value your life and your well being! read more
